We liked the location as it was away from the busy touristy centre and we were happy to walk the 30 mins or so into town. The room was really spacious as was the bathroom. We had a balcony and it was lovely to be able to sit out. Quite a lot of bars and restaurants nearby if you don’t fancy making the trip into the centre.

We booked the room because it had a balcony. However, when we checked in we’d been allocated a room with a bath but not a balcony. When I questioned this I was told the deluxe rooms have either a bath or a balcony. I do not recall being asked to state a preference at the time of booking. All was ok though because there was a room with a balcony available which we used a lot.

Modern, but very cosy 4 stars hotel, with great top roof, large standard room and very nice deco. The staff was super friendly. They have a safe garage for large SUVs next to the hotel, very convenient. I will repeat next time in Heidelberg. For the summer nights, I recommend the Tapas for two on the top roof bar. The quality of the food was incredible, including the schrimps.

Our room was facing the main road and it was a bit noisy, even with the windows closed, but nothing extrem and of course, you are in a city!

The location was spot-on, close to the station and restaurants, which was very convenient. We loved our short visit to the area and would have loved to stay longer. As we arrived in the morning, we were grateful to be able to leave our luggage at the hotel while we explored the old town. We opted for breakfast at the hotel, which wasn't included in our rate—it was value for money and delicious, and the dining area was beautiful.

We were unaware of the communal coffee station downstairs instead of a coffee tray in our room. Foreign travelers are not always aware of different service offerings and it would have been great had they told us beforehand.

Our stay was wonderful! The room was spacious and included a fold-out sofa, which was perfect for our child. It was also very quiet, ensuring a restful night. While breakfast was an additional cost, it was delicious and well worth it. The hotel’s parking garage easily accommodated larger vehicles, which made traveling much more convenient. We brought our dog along, and the room had plenty of space for her to feel comfortable. Overall, it was a great experience that made our trip both easy and enjoyable!

The room was nice and spacious. Great view towards the hill and the interior garden. The staff was very pleasant, always with a smile and ready to help. The hotel's location is very convenient to reach the old town, as well as the zoo (30 mins walk in both directions). And the greatest of all was the restaurant. The breakfast was very varied, one could choose anything from eggs to cereals with milk. The dinner menu was excellent, we ate there 3 nights in a raw and were not disappointed. Also the restaurant employees were very nice and accommodated all our requests.

Great modest sized hotel on the western edge of old Heidelberg. Must have been modernised or refurbd. fairly recently - the decor, public areas, and the room were all spotless and in perfect order. A couple of balcony type seating areas on different floors, coupled with outside (pavement) seating for the resaurant mde it easy to find quiet to eat or simply sit and read. The restaurant was very good for a small hotel, and the breakfasts were excellent. Quirky lighting, unusual paintings and a good choice of background muzak were the icing on a great stay. (and the parking was good as well)

Maybe the room lighting could have been better - it was all wall, and no centre. Apart from that, nothing to dislike at all.

The staff is very friendly and supportive. They replied to our messages immediately. The room was very clean, spacious, and comfortable. The location is good, 15 minutes walk from the centre and easy to reach by car. The availability of a secured underground parking was another plus. The restaurant is also great. Although it was a bit expensive, the food was delicious, so it was worth it. We especially appreciated how helpful the staff was to provide us with a table where we could sit comfortably with a young child.

It was challenging to carry the luggage and a stroller from the underground parking, which did not have an elevator. But that issue can easily be avoided if you unload your stuff before driving in the parking.

The rooms are wonderful, and the bathroom was spectacular—spacious and equipped with everything you could wish for. The room itself was large, with a beautiful “castle-like” design, and even offered roof access, which was a special touch. Although the hotel is quite big, it is very well managed. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was a truly enjoyable experience.

I lived in the newly renovated building, not in the main hotel. Just rigth on the corner, for a whole week. My room was located on the first floor with amazing view to the inner yard. Beautiful calmness and relaxation. You can see birds and squirrels from your window. There was a coffe/tee point just behid the door. Good choice of tea. Hotel location is perfect, not so far from train station, tram and bus stops are 2-3 min walk. Pedestrian street is in 10-12 min walk. River enbankment is also very close. High quality badding.

Second time in this hotel, and this time probably the nicest hotel room ever. I am so glad that single rooms were no longer available! With a private quiet deck, super relaxing view, the room and hotel has everything you need, clean, new, and comfortable, complimentary coffee and tea in the hall.
