Easy access from the highway, ideal for a one-night stop-over. Smooth check-in process. Great breakfast. Rather good value for money.

I didn't like to be confronted with an unexpected additional parking-fee of € 8,-. This was not mentioned anywhere and it was new to us. Last time we were in the same hotel, the parking was free. Given the location of the hotel (quite far from city centre) 100% of guests will come by car, so no need to resort to artificial "price-differentiation." So either include parking fee in the price, or communicate clearly beforehand!

My family and I thoroughly loved staying here. All the staff were friendly and helpful. It was suitable for our purposes. As were were travelling around and needed parking as well. The hotel has a lovely breakfast buffet. Lots of variety. There is a petrol station right outside. So if you want snacks or little bits for yourself as well as fuel if you are driving. Its fantastic. There are also two restaurants within a five minute walk. overall the hotel was brilliant for our needs and the staff were amazing and we're fluent in English. Which helped alot as my German is terrible. Thankyou

Everything to do with the hotel was fine. One complaint, which is MASSIVE about our holiday. We booked seven nights over the Christmas week, looking forward to having 24 and 25 December dinners in the hotel. My husband called several times in advance of the trip to try to book for these meals but was told each time 'it would be fine'. We arrived to find the restaurant was closed on both nights. We thought this meant 'completely' closed but it was in order to cater for a group, each evening. So we, residents of the hotel, could not be accommodated for our meals. Not many places open in and around Heidelberg on those two dates so our holiday was spoiled. We will not be using your hotel chain again and we have advised all our friends about the situation. Such a shame.

it’s all good except a couple of small points

On the two occasions that i stayed, there were no cushions on the outside seats. The staff say this is because of rain. A pergola should be constructed that can be opened or closed. This outside space should also be made better and more attractive with better and more seating. Internally there are washing machines and driers, two of each. At least two are stil not working properly, after months between the two visits. Except for this it’s a great hotel and the staff are very helpful.

Really good breakfast! The staff was extremely nice! Laundry facilities (but not free, and not perfect working conditions.)

Some kids/teenagers were roaming through the hotel late evening, and played pranks. Being woken up by loud knocking, laughing and sounds of running away, was something I had never experienced while traveling. Without a car, this hotel would be difficult to use for travelers with lots of luggage.

Good location, clean and tidy hotel.

I was a little disappointed because we didn't get the room we paid for. We got a normal room with an extra bed and a bathtub. And because of a disabled child, I was looking for a room with a shower cabin and a normal third bed in the room. Unfortunately, no one apologized or offered a refund.

I like the staff and the fact that they allowed me to check in early. This has given me positive feeling about the hotel as they have been very understanding. If i happen to go to Heidelberg, I will choose this hotel again.

Although everything is fine and a good value for money, I would like to see 2 improvements. Number one, although all furnitures are in high quality both in the room and bathroom, I saw that they were not cleaned properly. It was just like surface cleaning of everything so that you see dust in tiny corners like in sockets and widows, and spots on the tables and shower window. Moreover the pillows could have been bigger. They were so small even for me let alone my husband. Hey, these are not criticisms, just for the benefits of the hotel.

100/10 on all fronts. The rooms are aaaaamazing. You have everything you need. this is what I call a proper hotel. the room (even the one for 2 adults) was very spacious, had coffee pot, refrigerator, air conditioning, a bathtub. super duper comfy hotel. The breakfast was really good, you have everything you need for a good breakfast. This was probably THE best hotel in my entire 10 day trip believe it or not. The location is also super duper amazing. You can easily visit the Heidelberg castle which is only 10 minutes by car. The hotel has its own parking, you pay 8 eur per 24 hour. for us it was reasonable price. It is also easy to find good places to eat (we prefer asian dishes). Kaschmir - Tandoori 2(halal) is a great option if you are looking for Indian food at a reasonable price. address: ( Langer Anger 40, 69115 Heidelberg, Germany) The hotel staff was super helpful. When I booked the hotel even though I always search options for "2 adults and 1 child" (3 years old), the app ended up leading me to a room of 2 adults. I had a similar issue with my booking for a previous hotel so I called the Leonardo hotel in advance and they made a note for the receptionist. Therefore, we did not have any unpleasant experience. They also did not charge us extra. I highly appreciate such support. I had a horrible experience in another hotel for the same issue but the staff at Leonardo hotel was very welcoming, considerate and understanding. They understood that It wasn't intentionally done and they supported us. Thanks!

I liked everything. noting to complain about.

Everything was very clean, the bathroom had a lot of items (creams, shampoos, etc.) and towels. We were given a large suite: living room, bedroom, and bathroom. All looked like a one-bedroom apartment. We booked the room for two nights and then extended it for one more night. When we decided to extend our stay for one more night, the receptionist let us stay in the same room, even though the hotel was full the next day. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There were sweets for children, free fruits, and free coffee at the reception. The hotel is very large and nice: there are plenty of places to seat and gather for conversation; there is a bar and a restaurant. Wi-fi worked perfectly. Parking is large and free if you are lucky to find a place. Last night was difficult to find a free spot. The breakfast looked very good but it was not included in the room price.

Clean room and bathroom. Good working airco. Check-in / Check-out was smooth. Free bottle of sparkling water offered for free in the room next to coffee and tea. Outside parking spaces enough in the surrounding streets.

The outside view was a bit darky. No detailed info about the hotel services in the room itself. The free coffee at the reception was not very tasty. For some reason free coffees always need to have a bad taste. The outdoor parking of the hotel is just an external parking area and its big enough so unclear why it cannot be offered for free.
