the room was comfortable, staff was nice, breakfast was ok (not a very rich selection, but pretty balanced). location is OK with public transport (otherwise it's an hour walk to the old town), and it's especially nice for a hike up the Königstuhl.

the toilet lid couldn't be properly opened, water pressure in the shower was extremely low. the parking is very small (10 spots if I remember correctly), so you need to be fast (and once you secure a spot, I recommend leaving your car there for the whole duration of your trip).

Lovely, charming hotel in a busy but very accessible part of Heidelberg. Very easy to hop on a tram/bus and get to where you want to go downtown. We booked 3 rooms for a party of 8 and we were all very centrally located, with a common living area directly outside our rooms with a kitchenette. Our 2 bedroom suite was very spacious and more than comfortable to accommodate everyone in our family in the evening for a nightcap. Breakfast was absolutely superb, everything prepared fresh and the owners were there making sure you had everything you needed.

Parking lot is small and can get full very quickly, but the owners let us know we were able to park on the sidewalk directly in front of the hotel which was a very nice and helpful bonus. Only a minor issue as everything else was exceptional.

The property is placed in a very convenient location, because is has plenty of space for parking and if you don’t have a personal vehicle, there is a bus stop right across the street. Every room is carefully chosen to fulfill all your needs, very family friendly, clean and taken care of by the staff of the property. The food was excellent, made with fresh ingredients and the stuff that works in the dinner area was extremely friendly.

Very friendly staff and high quality customer service. Check-in and checking out was easy. I was even shown to the room. I liked that there was Information and guides about how to spend a few days exploring Heidelberg. Travelling to the centre of town was easy. The transportation is quite frequent. Lots of free wifi around Heidelberg including at this accommodation helped.

Onsite parking was very tight. I grabbed the last spot available at 5:30pm. I believe I nearly missed out had I arrived any later.

Quiet location, comfortable bed, great dinner in a restaurant and awesome breakfast. Apparently hotel is now under new management and lady of the house made sure I felt right at home. It is also not far from the city centre, only maybe 10 minute drive.

Its not hard to find but parking lot entrance is not marked up and there is bunch of other driveways nearby - I would suggest to the owners to put some kind of distinct signage, I ended up doing circles around the property before I figured it out.

Hotel Rose is a wonderful family run hotel. The breakfast is terrific. The room was spotless. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was quiet. There is a separate kitchen area for guests to use which was very convenient. The location is perfect; the streetcar is a minute walk away.

The location was excellent. Even though it was on the edge of town the trams & bus were right there. We bought a day ticket for two and went i to town and up to the funicular for the castle. Also there was a neighbourhood around the corner with cafes, bakeries and restaurants. Try the Ethiopian one!

Location a little far if you have mobility problems and want to go to Heidelberg. Driving is not recommended because of lack of parking so you take the tram if you want.

Very clean rooms , a lot of space . Nice couch. There is a kitchen were you can make coffee and tea. All included . Tram line in front of the hotel, you can experience some noise of it. Breakfast is really good. Staff is super friendly and caring. Incredibly good quality. Well done.
