The hotel had a presence that perhaps was not obvious from the outside, but the interior and its receptionist soon changed that. The room had a fresh crisp look that had all the amenities that one would one would need for my three day stay. One could not find fault with this outstanding breakfast in a cozy but formal setting. The presentation of the food was as delicious as it looked - this fresh, healthy buffet was guided with a wonderful server. Overall, it was. a wonderful stay, and the efficiency and professionalism of the staff made it that way as well as the qualty of my room . I may add which I had never seen before and that they had coffee set up in the hallway for you to take out when you leave in the morning - this is what I like they were creative in detail and accommodating with customer need.

The shower door did not stop the water coming onto the bathroom floor. The coffee machine did not work, but the staff made sure that I had my room coffee if needed, and not once did they refuse to help with any concerns of mine.

Location is great. It is clean and personel were helpful specially room service. River side rooms were big with nice view.

There are very few parking places and it is on the street. Reservation for parking was easy. After 3 days when we came back to the car, we found it scrached and hitted. Obviously intentionally. We didn't have time to call the police and making a report specially because the damage was not big and that day was a national holliday in the Germany. We asked the reservation if he can check the camera videos but he told us that we should call the police. Breakfast could be more variant. You need to ask waitress to prepare omlette for you. We didn't know in first morning.

Panorama is across the road from the Neckar and about 15-20 minutes along the river or up the main shopping street to the central square - its a lovely walk along the riverside. We had booked parking in advance at 12 euro per night - think it's advised to book - and parked right outside. Room was large and a very modern bathroom - room faced river - great views of river and forest beyond. Water in room which was welcome after long journey. Breakfast was amazing - large platters of fresh fruit, plus all the usual cheeses / veg / eggs etc. - managed to get a seat overlooking the river! Hotel has a small bar, only about 10 seats, and we had a drink there both nights when we got back from the town - the night porter / barman was attentive and busy - lovely spot to sit at the end of long days

Room wasn't ready when we arrived (no issue with that) but Reception a bit chaotic when came back and seemed to take ages to get our room

What did I like about this hotel... The réception, the room, the bathroom, the bed, the netflix, prime, youtube options on the T.V., the wifi, the pillows, the room with à view, the high ceiling, the big picture windows, the air conditioning that works all the time, the pristine clean carpet and most of all the breakfast! For a 3 star hotel that deserves 5 stars for knowing and implementing what a guest finds the most important in a hotel. Thank you Panorama Hotel !

What didn't I like about this hotel are just personal minor, selfish indulgences. We arrived on a Sunday and the hotels restaurant was closed...I guess that's not really a big problem there are lots of restaurants very close to the hotel. Now I'm being a bit selfish about breakfast, I would have liked a soft boiled egg and not a very hard boiled egg. Otherwise the breakfast is one of the best I've had presented to me first thing in the morning at any hotel, everything sparkled!

The breakfast options are varied, including the possibility to order a hot omelet. The location is excellent, both for its panoramic views and logistical convenience. The staff appear friendly.

However, there are several drawbacks: there's a persistent toxic smell in the area separating the first-floor rooms from the foyer, which did not dissipate throughout the week; the toilet flush worked very poorly, with staff promising to fix it but no action taken and no alternative room offered, forcing me to devise my own flushing methods:))) For the room cleaning the maid may enter the room to clean even if you are inside, unbothered by the possibility of you being in the shower and not hearing someone else in the room, which could lead to potentially embarrassing situations.

Was a fantastic stay. Room was clean and spacious. Despite very hot weather, the air conditioning was brilliant. Lovely breakfast. Staff could not be faulted.

Been mentioned before and is a small thing but can be problems with the parking. Came back after day out to find all spaces taken even though I had booked (obviously someone had parked who had not booked. Staff were brilliant in finding a solution (double parking but moving it into a space when one came available in the morning) but a solution needs to be found so this does not happen in the first place.

The breakfast was excellent, very Nice!! The Receptionist was more than Pleasant and made our check in fun. She gave us good info. The Hotel gave us both Upgraded rooms for the price we booked. The rooms are like suites! There was a crying baby on my floor a few doors down, I didn't hear a Peep. Very sound proof rooms. Beautiful overlook of the Nekar River and parts of Heidelberg across the River. I Will stay here Again!! 👍🇩🇪

Parking could be an issue if they are busy. Limited spaces, but Do Not Let that Stop You from staying Here! Worth the walk if you have to park away from the Hotel.

We loved the hospitality. The room was beautiful, nice and clean. I loved the beautiful real rose. The room had a great view. The hotel has a brilliant location. The breakfast was great. My husband is a non vegetarian so he loved it. I am a vegetarian, so I had limited options but overall I quite liked the variety of fresh fruits and the tomato salad with different dressings, selection of cheeses, tea, coffee everything was wonderful.

I am not a big fan of having two single beds joined together to make one big bed. That is the one negative feedback.

I was driving Benz Sprinter which is very very big. There was not enough parking @ hotel parking lot, but the reception guided us to park it in front of main door. This was much more than I expected from this hotel. Thank you. There was not enogh time to have breakfast, but the hotel made us sandwitch. Again, this is more than I expected. It's fantastic! and I'll visit this hotel again.

The breakfast is superb, and there are a lot of selections. Every employee, from the front desk, breakfast waitstaff, to room cleaners are very friendly and accommodating. The decors and furnishings are contemporary but very elegant. Our room with riverview is great and entertaining. The bank atm is next door. The location for what we want is perfect. This hotel is very closed to a 4 Star Hotel.

A very slight mold in between the shower tiles and grout.
