The room was cozy, clean and had a great view and good air. The staff was friendly and helpful, we even got to do a late check out without any extra charge, since we are religious and had to check out at the end of Shabbat. The location was Great, very close to the market, to Gan Sacker park, there was a train stop right in front of the hotel. Reasonable parking fee. Breakfast was very good, fresh, colorful and many options. Classic Shabbat breakfast with salads, burekas, yogurts, hot and cold beverages.

We stayed there on the weekend and couldn't use electricity since we are religious, and there was no general coffee station at the lobby. But mostly everything was great.

Breakfast selection is always the same but excellent variety. Staff was so so so accommodating. Whatever I asked for was addressed and helped with efficiently. Bed is incredibly comfortable. Toiletries and towels are amply provided. A little welcome platter of fruit was on the table. Ample seating and closet space. Great big window for air and light. I do wish that they had an outdoor seating space and that there were more hooks in the bathroom and bedroom.

Staff went out of there way to meet my needs, and I did make some special requests. Hotel was also being used to house local refugees from the North while I was there and the level of care and compassion of all of the workers towards the refugees was beautiful to see. It really added to the environment in a positive way. The staff were able to meet the needs of both tourists and longer term guests. There is a warm and friendly atmosphere and a real attempt to make sure you are a satisfied guest -- this seems to be a very big ethic.

Minor things -- but I attribute them to the overall situation, but net, this was a positive experience.

I feel like there was a lot of progress since last time I stayed there. They were painting and freshening up everything since many of the people who fled the north left the hotel and it became a regular hotel again not a shelter

The outside gate only has one door so if you need to turn left to exit the hotel you need to go all the way to the right. Well maybe it’s a security thing. But other than that it’s cool

Check-in, reception area, breakfast Saeed was very welcoming and helpful

Rooms were not serviced properly (not cleaned everyday, towels or soaps missing...)

From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by the warm and friendly smile of Saeed at the reception. Saeed not only made the check-in process a breeze but also took the time to show me around the beautiful hotel and provided me with all the information I needed to make my stay comfortable. Throughout my visit, he generously assisted me, making me feel like an absolute queen. The building itself is a masterpiece, boasting stunning architecture and a charming ambiance. The elegant and tasteful décor added to the overall sense of luxury and sophistication. It is evident that the management has put great effort into ensuring a well-lit and inviting atmosphere, which only enhanced my stay. The location of Lady Stern Hotel couldn't have been better for me. Its proximity to the central bus and train station made it incredibly convenient for my travels around the city. As for the breakfast: the wide variety of dishes catered to all tastes, and the food was of a good quality Lastly, I want to express my gratitude to Rama, the lovely receptionist I met during my stay. Her genuine warmth and helpfulness were truly appreciated. I promised her I would return, and I will definitely keep that promise.

Lady Stern Hotel is an excellent property. I was actually there 12 nights as I was part of the Lev Haolam tour for seven nights prior to this stay that I booked on Booking.com. They let me continue my stay in the same room even though my first room was an upgrade from the room I booked on my own. The breakfast and dinner were very good with great variety and an incredibly large, attentive staff. Housekeeping staff were always on the job, the hotel rooms and public spaces are immaculate. The personnel at the desk were always present and very professional. I particularly received so much assistance from Rama. She helped me with an issue I was having with a reservation I had made (nothing to do with the hotel). I had an incorrect phone number so she helped me contact them. The next day I was back because they answered me with an email in Hebrew so, Rama had to help me again. Such a lovely, patient young lady. This was my first visit to Jerusalem and I’m very pleased with my stay.

The only thing that concerned me was that there was little room for taxi pickup and drop off in front of the hotel. There was a sort of cutout but it was always taken by buses and vans.

Ideal location, right next to the Haturim light rail station or walking distance from Yitzchak Navon train station if you are taking the train from the airport. Very accommodating staff, the bed was large and comfortable. Good breakfast.

The room was a bit dusty, and there is some construction opposite, but should not bother you if you're out in the day.

Everything was just perfect from the lovely staff at the reception to the manager and the waiting staff at the whisky bar to the amazing location and the spacious comfortable rooms. The food was cooked perfectly I had salmon and vegs for dinner and the breakfast was varied and of fantastic quality. Everyone were polite and no request was an issue (I have specific dietary requirements - all were answered with ease). The room was specious and a lovely gesture was the complimentary delicious dates, chocolate, fruit and water. The room was super clean and the bed was top notch and super comfortable. This is the third time I have stayed at this hotel in the past 6m and this is certainly my hotel of choice when I visit Jerusalem.
