We have stayed here 3 times and our children would never want us to stay anywhere else. we love the apartment, with its private courtyard and kitchen. The kids absolutely love the pool. Short walk to supermarket and all of the restaurants. Great access to the beaches. we love it

Some areas are starting to look a bit tired and signs of wear and tear. Some modernisation/improvements would be of benefit.

It’s a place full of memories for me. I grew up in whangamata and when i come home breakers is the place to go!

The small things of milk are stupid. Hard to open and not enough for a coffee let alone two (as two people stayed) use to get a small cream sized bottle of completely milk which would do nicely. Shame. I know cost of living but it’s not exactly cheap as chips to stay there and deffo think it’s time for the spas to be upgraded. but we do love it here !! Will always come back!

The property is extremely quiet at night and the room we had ( 1 bedroom) was very large. The kitchen had everything you need for cooking. The pool is absolutely great with access off our balcony. The staff are friendly and the cleanliness is excellent.

It was a very unusually hot week here, no aircon was not so great at night as it was very humid. There are fans provided but a portable aircon unit would have been better.

We had to check-in late in the evening and there were no problems at all (gave them a call to make sure they were aware). Graham waited for us and provided all the necessary information and swipe card to access. The room was in an immaculate state of cleanliness with all the basic necessities. We stayed with two teens, who enjoyed having the pool steps away from our room! Apart from the sliding door connecting with the pool, there's a safety door, which is perfect if you go with toddlers. Would recommend the motel and would definitely come back.

Was a wonderful stay . Will go again I'm summer time so close to beach .love spa bath inside and spa outside. They help us out we were havingva bad day .when I ealized stuffed up our booking dates then our battery was dying in car we just bougt 4 days before.the lovely lady suggested a great garage .help us out.2 night next time awwk be awesome .

The room was a good size and the kitchen was well equipped. Staff were friendly and the pool was a good size. My only suggestion would be is that the BBQ area had a really good clean and upgrade.

There is a tunnel from the kids pool to the adults and if a wee kid tried to go thru and got stuck I would hate to think what would happen.

Thanks for a lovely stay. It was raining hard and we were given a studio on the ground floor, so we didn't hear the rain on the roof during the night, but still had a view on the pool and gardens which was very comforting given the bad weather outside.

Love the location and facilities. The double bed was very comfortable. They have the space that we require. We booked a 2 bedroom unit and there's a spa pool outside our yard.

The spa pool was a little too old and the jet streams doesn't work. So it ended us as a hot tub soak.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We found the staff very welcoming and friendly. It's ideal for families, with the pool, playground and trampoline. Will definitely be coming back.

Absolutely outstanding! We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Breakers Motel, and the warmth and hospitality of our hosts was so appreciated (especially after our arrival logistics went amok with a large storm and road closures). We were delighted with our room (#13, tucked away with lots of privacy but still walkout right to the swimming pool). Room amenities were great, they’ve thought if everything, including even a large clothes drying rack to be able to hang dry if needed. Nice and quiet and very walkable to the downtown area and the beaches…just fabulous!
