Everything! Stunning apartment with everything you could need. Perfect layout for us parents and the kids to enjoy comfortably I booked 2 x of this apartment for myself and my family + my brother and his Then put my parents up @THP-Waihi I decorated our room for my father's 60th birthday and we surprised him with an intimate night of speeches, performances and cake etc. from us kids/grandkids & mum, to him. Shower pressure - perfection Drain wasn't draining at first so I called and Richard had it cleared within the hour 👌🏾 Tamara, Richard, Aidan and Tyler were amazing and accommodating throughout We had such a great time and can't wait to return

Weather. But that couldn't be helped and was no one's fault.. we still enjoyed staying inside because the space was so lovely and comfortable Wifi - cut out and lagged 90% of the time even when there was no rain or storms etc

Was clean, sheets were good. We were in the family unit and the living area was a good size. Our room had a bathroom, I however was surprised the communal bathrooms were not only clean it smelled of lavender. Very well-maintained campground. Was relaxing and quiet. Animals were allowed and all well behaved.

The floor in the bathroom was spongy, shower water pooled in areas and wouldn't drain. Flannels were not supplied. The bunkroom was really small and had condensation dripping on the windows from one person breathing if there were four people it would be really bad. Two-bedroom family units had parking for one and the second car was not allowed in the complex had to be parked on the road and bags carried in. No Sky TV.

Friendly, convenient, well maintained

Could be noisy in the late evenings. We originally booked for 2 nights, ended up staying for four. There was no room cleaning, clean towels or kitchen dish cloth or tea towels that whole time. Also no garbage removal and new bag provided. No spare toilet roll provided. There were some dead bugs about on walls. The fridge needs a thorough cleaning and airing! It was stinky. And when we paid for the forth night, the attendant asked my husband his age and took $20. Off the price. Apparently there is a substantial savings available for seniors, not mentioned in advertising nor can it be applied retroactively once we had paid the full price for the three previous nights.

It's our first time at a holiday park. There's bikes for kids to rent, playground, and also free sauna to be booked. About 5 min walk to the beach. We booked a self contained 2 bedroom unit and it was brand new. It is relatively clean except for the floors. The overall experience was really good though and my kids want to come back again.. The receptionist was also really helpful because I originally booked three studio units and didn't check they were shared bathrooms Because I was bringing kids and also parents, it was not convenient to share bathrooms. When I called, he was very swift in helping me reserve two of the two bedroom units so it doesn't get booked out while I sorted the cancellation for the studios. It was amazing service.

The floor wasn't cleaned well enough so when we first entered into the unit, we stepped onto sand everywhere and feet got black very quickly. Wasn't too big of a concern but because I have a baby so wasn't too great when she crawled around and picking everything up to put in her mouth

amazing value, so reasonable for a 2 bedroom unit. only con, needed cabinet or storage in bathroom, only had a small basin,no hairdryer. Beds were very comfortable, large unit, handy to beach awesome playground. had 3 spa but we're not available when we stayed unfortunately. was looking forward to that. girl at reception lovely and very helpful. had cupcakes for us to celebrate mother's day had a lovely quiet stay, thanks so much

Staffs are friendly and efficient, and the place is quiet and well organised. Went for the hot tub and it was quite nice, the room is clean and well equipped

This is partially on me as well😂 I was running late for the check-in, tried to call reception around 6:50 but was told it's outside of business hour, then I had to try and send messages through all the possible ways to get in touch while driving and worrying I might got cancelled if I'm late? Eventually found a helpful note on the door saying ring the doorbell for late arrivals, but would love to be able to get in touch through the phone at these not so outside of business hours

The staff at check in were lovely, friendly and helpful. The cost of an overnight was extremely reasonable. Kitchen was well equipped for our needs. We also used the sauna, which you can reserve free of charge for an hours slot.

The bed and bedding could have been more comfortable. There was a shower curtain, rather than a screen, and evidence of considerable water damage on the wall and door causing swelling of the wood. The couch is small and not very comfortable

This was a great little place to stay for a family holiday. Waihi is a fantastic beach for kids. The unit was super comfy in terms of the space and bedrooms. Kitchen was great, distance to beach very easy. Facilities are pretty basic, but were fine for us.

Our only complaint (and note that they didn't say they had it) but it was very hot when we were there and it was almost impossible to keep the cabin cool without having all the windows and doors open, which we couldn't really do when we were out. A few fans or a small air conditioner unit for summer would be a great addition. Access to the spa and sauna both needed booking and was very expensive.

Great service, friendly staff at reception, only short stroll to the beach. Rather small holiday park, quiet at night, shower and toilet block very well kept and clean. Do try the walk to Orokawa Bay, only 30 minutes over the headland from northern end of Waihi Beach. Lovely walk, the beach you get to is magnificent.

We stayed in a unit where four rooms are in a row with rather thin walls so you could hear other guests snoring etc. For the price it was great nevertheless.

The property was exceptionally clean and the public facilities well maintained. We loved that we could take our dog and how close this property was to the beach. Staff were also great!

The added fess that aren't advertised on Booking.com that we only found out when confirming the book with the property (i.e. $25 for the dog, $20 per night for an extra child despite booking a 2 bedroom unit for six people, $30 per hour to use the spa pool, $10 per hour to use the ride on bikes).
