Our cabin was cozy and comfortable. Our kids loved the entire place: having the playground literally at our doorstep, the warm pools (hours of swimming), private spa & bush walks. We had a great time! Definitely would go back. . The staff were really accommodating & friendly which made the whole vibe so welcoming and relaxed.

My sons hot shower didn't work despite putting his $2 coin in but he's not one to complain so he endured his cold shower haha. Hopefully the hot water boiler in the kitchen will be fixed soon but grateful their was a kettle to use - just minor stuff really.

we are a family of 5 2A 7yo 3yo & 1yo. We stayed for 2nights . it was a truly magical experience. our service we received from staff was above and beyond. our room was exceptionally clean and cosy. the pools were absolutely wonderful , the hot tub was my favourite and my two young children loved it too as the other pools were a tad too cold for them. the river was so lovely aswel , we all swam in it in the cold lol but loved it. the mini golf and trampoline was absolutely awesome for the kids. there is so much to do here. we also did a walk in the bush and we loved it. a beautiful mandarin tree along our walk and they were delicious. Our weekend here as a whanau was much needed as we work tirelessly and needed to come back to what really matters and that is time with our children & this place definately gave that to us . also, I forgot the beautiful lady's name but she recommended a cafe in Waihi beach right on the beach. we ended up going there and OMGGGG it was the most magical way to end our weekend. thank you so much

it's nothing that I don't like but a recommendation, I feel as though there needs to be a motel unit for a family of 5 as the cabins require you to bring everything and sometimes as parents it would be nice to just get away to a magical place like sapphire springs and not have to worry about everything else. However, there is the beautiful bungalow but that's abit above my paycheck . other than that this magical place isa 10/10 and somewhere me and my whanau will be coming back too for whanau getaways.

Everything is beautiful at Sapphire. It is like a paradise. Staff is so helpful and welcoming. Peaceful songs of birds, sound of river, drops of rain falling on leaves, sunshine, beautiful location, it felt like even air too sings there. The room was so comfortable as it had everything to use. The bench outside the room was a fantastic idea to sit there and to enjoy some time in the lap of mother nature. It was an amazing experience for me to be there with my loving husband to celebrate my birthday. This place made my birthday memorable forever. We would like to come back again for sure.

Loved the options of pools and waterholes

The shower needed a mat on the inside of our motel room. It became very slippery. In the spa area, it needed a new mat as that was really slippery and dangerous, and some parts around the big pool were slippery. I saw a few people slip. The rooms could do with a broom if that's possible. Apart from this, my grandchildren and I really loved it. I will be recommending Sapphire Springs to other people

Motel very comfortable bed and seating with East to access basic Freeview TV which is all we needed. Enough cooking gear- pots. microwave, stove top, crockery znd cutlery. Quiet nights - ( not many guests though yet so could have been lucky).. Beautiful bush outlook and walks to pools etc.

There was no official checkup to see if we needed replacement of towels etc and I had let the office staff know that I wasn't feeling well on arrival. No-one checked on that over three days. (We stayed indoors all the next day and were comfortable but it would have been good for staff to check on elderly guests).

Absolutely loved our short little get away from the city rat race. The cabins were cute and little but really spacious. Sufficient to our family needs. The communal space catered to our needs perfectly. Kids Absolutely loved the pools and the hot tubs were definitely a hit. Nature really put on a show for us with the down pour, thunder and lighting but it didn't put a damper on our stay, will be planning another stay in the near future.

Great location and knowledge of the area ! It will be great when the bush track is up and running again. Maybe a small open hydro slide would be great for the kids in future planning . Bigger draw card ! However the services and the amenities and people were great too .

The motel walls were noise transparent! Lol But not that bad ! The hot water jug in the room probably needed to be replaced making heaps of noise for me and the neighbours lol . But overall very nice apartment

Great service, neat and clean facilities, beautiful surroundings, close enough to drive to either Waihi, Katikati or Tauranga. Pools and spas were lovely and the river makes this place a playground heaven for kids and the campground feels very tranquil.

The rain! ;) We had some rowdy neighbours over Christmas and New Years and would've preferred our chalet to have been a bit further from the busy entrance and playground, but all in all a great stay.

Excellent hosts,welcoming,and only too happy to make their customers feel Important, and are prepared to go that extra mile. The cleanliness of the facilities, 10 out of 10.I would recommend Sapphire Springs to all you traveller's looking for a great holiday park for those with family and those who may travel alone. We stay for 5days and enjoyed every day we stayed, sorry we had to leave.I would rate it right up there as a TOP 10 Holiday Park. Thank to the team at Sapphire Springs Holiday Park.

I liked everything.

A quiet, clean, well run camping ground a short drive from the main highway. The distance became appreciated as the location was very quiet, with bushwalks and morning bird calls behind Sapphire Springs, and what appeared to be a very safe family-friendly facility.

Nothing that I can think of.
