Plenty of parking, very accommodating with room request, knowledgeable about the area and gave great recommendations, ensuite was well sized, bottled water was provided for the kettle, spacious room, hosts were understanding and forgiving when we arrived a little later than we expected, and the breakfast was truly excellent - even Gordon Ramsay would be happy with the scrambled eggs! Very attentive to any needs, and the hosts were so warm and inclusive, and happy to chat with guests through breakfast. We would definitely stay again, and would recommend to others if asked.

Leaving - we wish we could have stayed longer!

This is one of those rare times in life that you get far more than you bargained for. 10 out of 10 doesn’t do this wonderful location true justice. David and Tatiana made us feel welcomed from the moment we arrived. Our room was spotlessly clean, the bed was luxurious and comfortable, every detail was planned to perfection. After giving us a quick tour of our home for the night, David helped us locate a unique and exciting local restaurant for dinner and recommended some evening hot spots in town. The next morning an incredible breakfast spread was laid out for us and the other two guests. I don’t know how David and Tatiana pulled it off but even the other guests were a delight to meet. Truly above and beyond my expectations.

I wasn’t able to stay longer

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The room was comfortable, with plenty of room. Since we were here three days we appreciated having a chest of drawers and a spacious closet. The bed was very comfortable and the bath had everything we needed. We enjoyed sitting on the porch and having a glass of wine at the end of the day. Nathan and Tatianna were very friendly and had much to tell us about their experiences in New Zealand and elsewhere. Most special was the morning breakfast. A full continental breakfast and a hot breakfast with fresh avocado,tomato,cheese,meats, breads, cereals, yogurt, wonderful fresh fruit, prepared eggs and bacon along with coffee tea etc. One of the best breakfasts we’ve had!

There is nothing we didn’t like about the property. We were surprised by Tauranga. We found more congested traffic here than anywhere in our three weeks in New Zealand other than Auckland. It can easily take 40 minutes to drive to the beach, only a few km away. While worst at rush hours, we ran into the problem at 1:30 pm too. I’d warn people to be ready for extra time in the car. But this seems to be true for any property in the area. Unless you are on the beach, and don’t want to explore any other places the area has to offer, you will be stuck in traffic.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this lovely accommodation, and it exceeded my expectations. The home itself was charming and well-kept, featuring a comfortable queen bed and an en suite bathroom that added a touch of convenience and privacy. The host was exceptionally kind and helpful, striking the perfect balance between being available for assistance and giving us our own space to relax, which we greatly appreciated. However, the true highlight of our stay was the breakfast. I have never experienced anything quite like it—it was not only delicious but also beautifully presented and thoughtfully prepared. The attention to detail was incredible, making the meal feel like a special experience in itself. While my stay at this accommodation was delightful in many ways, there are a couple of aspects worth noting. The location, while peaceful and charming, was a bit farther from the central area than I had anticipated. It took me around 20 minutes, give or take 5, to get to the main attractions, which might be something to consider if proximity to the city center is important to you. That said, the quality of the stay and the exceptional breakfast did make up for these points, so I’d still recommend this place for those seeking a cozy and well-hosted retreat!

The place was exceptionally clean and well-maintained, making my stay incredibly comfortable. From the spotless rooms to the thoughtful details in the decor, everything exceeded my expectations. The hosts were warm and attentive, going above and beyond to ensure I had a fantastic experience. Breakfast was fresh, delicious, and offered a great variety. The location was peaceful yet close to local attractions, making it the perfect retreat. If I could give 10 stars, I absolutely would—highly recommend this B&B for anyone seeking a truly memorable stay!

We felt very welcome. David & Tatiana were very friendly & accommodating. Rooms were lovely with the beds being super comfortable. Bathrooms were great with the little extras provided. Breakfast was amazing, lots of fresh fruit, beautiful breads & condiments, cheeses & cold meats. We were offered a cooked breakfast. Very well presented.

We probably would have liked to be closer to the town centre but we had a car & it was a pretty straight drive into town. This was a minor issue & didn't deter from how much we enjoyed staying here

We had such a lovely two-night stay in the beautiful Tauranga which is close enough to Rotorua sights. Mt Maunganui is also definitely worth a visit. Everything in Seaside Villa B&B was taken care of down to the finest detail. The host couple Tatiana and Davin run their B&B with heart but also with a professional touch. The accommodation was spottlessly clean and tidy and well thought over. Although our room was not spoilt with too much space it had enough privacy, everything we needed and small touches like a foldable table and wine glasses and coffee/tee cups in the bed cabinet drawers worked really well. The excellent guest instructions both in writing and personally given earn extra thanks as does the lovely breakfast that was always nicely presented and delicious.

Everything including down-town is within driving distance, which is good to know. We also needed a navigator to find the house several times, without one finding it might be somewhat tricky.

Dave and Tattina were so friendly.even had a drink with us on the first night. We got on so well. The booking says continental breakfast which is lovely but they also cook you eggs and bacon how ever you prefer it,such and added bonus not expected. What we were not expecting is our room to be cleaned,fresh towels,beds made while we were out. So thoughtful .we were worried as it was in a nice housing area but not much around,but we soon changed our mins as the couple are so welcoming

Only that it would have been nice to sit outside somewhere in a garden.

David met us at the front of the house and was extremely cordial. David and Tatiana both prepared our breakfast, which was plentiful and delicious, at the time that we wanted it. David and Tatiana were very friendly, and knowledgable about the area and good things to see. Really, every detail was taken care of in top form. We were thankful and appreciative! We would go there again, and would definitely recommend this B&B to friends.

It wasn't that we did not LIKE it, but there were unexpected stairs up to our room and the main part of the B&B. We took only what we needed from our large bags into the house, and left the rest in the car. No big deal!

This is the best B&B we have stayed in to date. Really spacious and modern throughout with high quality rooms. Two particular highlights: 1.) the outstanding breakfast including fruit, meats, cheese, toast, cooked eggs & bacon and some incredible banana bread. 2.) The hosts - both extremely friendly & personable and a pleasure to talk to. No down sides at all, thoroughly recommend!
