We have been staying at the Reef each year for the past 17 years. It’s wonderful location close to a beach surf break is the added drawcard, but it is a lovely situation just our from the busy central area of the mount. Always love our stays.

Everything is always immaculate, and the property and pool area so lovely. Our room was feeling a little dated, as I don’t think much has changed with the decor in the past decade, but every room is slightly different, so it may have just been that unit. But units are very well set out with a lot of space to holiday and relax.

We had the 3brm ocean view apartment. The property was spotless and very comfortable. A fantastic view from the balcony with very good outdoor furniture to enjoy the view and a vino. Very close to the town and we enjoyed some fantastic food at a couple of restaurants. Solero was unreal. We also went to Harbourside just over the causeway to Tauranga. The waiter was a super guy called VJ. Would we stay here again. Definitely.

The toilets were unusually lower. A bit trickier for a couple of us with knee problems.

The location is perfect with awesome views , even on the bottom level ! The 3 bedroom is huge and had the best pattio space for a decent birthday spoiling. Receptionist was lovely and very informative and went the extra mile . Beds were all comfortable and roomy. Loved the under cover carpark with good security . Also suggest to get a pamper at Majestic Nails. Pool and spa looked great , we were very busy attending events so didn't try. But can't wait for next time x

Astounding property, the owners of the apartment (310) are to be complimented on their high standard of facilities and furnishings. It was a luxurious comfortable home from home. The sea view from the balcony was superb. We would highly recommend staying here, great value for money too. The pools were amazing, the hot pool was so relaxing. We were even able to borrow body boards for the beach.

Loved our stay at the Reef Beachfront apartments! Friendly staff and very spacious apartment that was perfect for a family of four. The pool was great as the weather was terrible so it was great to be able to go for a swim. Parking was really good too in the basement and the location was great, close to restaurants with a short drive. Very close to the beach too, we will definitely stay here again.

Our family made an unexpected trip due to a death in the family. Due to a mix up our initial accomodation we booked was given to someone else leaving us with nowhere to stay. Luckily enough I saw an apartment pop up, so I booked it 5minutes prior to them closing and was met by a friendly and welcoming apartment manager who was absolutely amazing! I couldn't complain about anything in the room except the fact we couldn't stay longer! We were all able to relax after a very stressful day and the kids enjoyed the pool right outside our room.

It was a bit pricey. My kids want me to add they didn't like the rule of "no manu's in the pool" haha

Clean, great location and great facilities. Large apartment with beautiful outside area near pool. Lots of sun.

Given how much you pay per night the toiletries are very budget. A tiny package stick soap for hand washing (very old fashioned and not very hygienic) and one miniature bottle of 2 in 1 conditioner and body wash for two people. Not great given the price you pay.

It had absolutely everything a whānau could need including amazing weather. All amenities were perfect including the carpark space underground giving great peace of mind for security. Staff were absolutely amazing and even supplied a trolley chart to make transporting bags conveniently to our room.

Everything was perfect but the beds could use an updated mattress for a more luxurious and comfortable stay.

Toni was incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay 👌. We stayed for 4 nights, the rooms (Two-bedroom apartments ground floor) were immaculate, very comfortable and exceeded our expectations. The price was reasonable for the 4 nights stay. We also really enjoyed the heated POOLS especially the children. We would definitely book here again 100% 🤩

The apartment was particularly good for me and my two adult sons (who don't like sharing a bedroom).

The lounge furniture is starting to show its age and there was a bit of a musty odour in the en-suite bathroom. None of this spoiled the stay - just thought it might be something to keep an eye on.
