Great spacious studio room with a view of the Mount. The kitchen and bathroom facilities were great.

They charge a surcharge to a debit card, but dont allow cash. So there is no way of avoiding the extra charge. I've never heard of a debit card being charged a surcharge. And the bond took over 24 hours to drivers back into my debit card, which wasn't ideal, as I specifically asked if it goes straight back on. And was told it does. That was the only thing I wasn't happy with, as i make sure to budget my travel and expenses. Everything else was amazing. Staff, the room. Check in. Cleaning staff. Everything else was great.

Beautifully appointed, spacious & clean. Very comfortable bed. Great location for events at Baypark. We love having self catering facilities and this accommodation ticks all the boxes incl washing machine and dryer. It is by far the best Quest I have stayed at in NZ (I have stayed at a few!)

If you are a light sleeper, there are rooms where there is an almost constant humming noise in the building - it is not insignificant - we found a sleep channel on the TV, waves gently lapping at a shore which helped a little. Have had noted on my profile to not be situated in a room where this is an issue.

Only stayed here for a brief night but would have preferred longer as it was lovely. Very modern and spacious rooms, clean and bright with great facilities. A comfortable bed with great aircon helped with a great night's sleep after a busy day. Good location as well to Mt Maunganuis sites and Tauranga, walkable to bars and restaurants. Good value too.

Although we were warned via email beforehand, there was no manned desk when we were checking in on a Sunday evening. This meant that we had to communicate via an intercom which wasn't ideal. Parking situation wasn't very clear as well and we weren't sure if we'd be towed away while sleeping. Having a physical staff presence is helpful for foreign guests particularly when they have limited Internet or ability to make calls but it didn't spoil the experience.

Newly refurbished hotel, clean with excellent facilities - cooling facilities - microwave / toaster / hob / dishwasher / washer dryer. The premises does not have a bar or restaurant however all amenities are with 2 minute walk. The staff were all very helpful - particularly Kacy on reception. We were allocated the disabled room (not by request or requirement , however the facilities were excellent for wheelchair users , close to lift , large room ) The beaches are within 10 minutes walk. Parking charges apply at €15 a night apply which we weren’t aware of , but there is off road parking nearby with no time limit. I would certainly consider booking this hotel again. Very quiet / good facilities / great staff and easy to find hotels/ location .

Washer/ dryer - struggled to get the dryer to work . Standard problem with the combination appliances.

Great location, access was so easy using the phone pass key, loved that I could arrive get checked in and not have any issues. the property is obviously pretty new, super clean, super comfortable and just worked perfectly for us.

Not much actually, although when I tried to book a car park, which was later in the day I was told I would need to talk to reservations in the morning - since I stayed one day that was not much help at all. - if I could have arranged a carpark online it would have been great. Would also be good if you could make the credit card process easier.

Spotlessly clean, spacious apartment. The bed and pillows were super comfortable. Handy having a clothes dryer available in the room. We added a last minute extra night at beginning of our booking, which was in a different room and the staff made the changeover of rooms super easy.

A bit of traffic noise in the apartment which faced Rata Street. I’d ask for a room on the other side next time, as didn’t notice the traffic when we stayed last year (across the hall)

This is a great place to stay in the perfect location. Clean and fresh and the room service was spot on.

They clearly state there is a hold on your card for incidentals so no problem there. Issue was it took 3 working days to get it reversed. Staff told me to contact my bank when I questioned it. That was just a little annoying but beware that this could happen.

The location on the main street in the Mount was nice and close to all the main shops and restaurants but not too close to the noise. The room had a lot of amenities that you would have in your home, so it would be great for a friends weekend or business travellers who would need a kitchen or washer/dryer.

I arrived at check-in time and was prepared to pay for parking but all the spots were already reserved. The parking lot next to the hotel had minimal spots. Luckily there are free parking spots available just down the street.

Comfortable room and bed. Good location. Clean. Pleasant staff.

The $300 hold on my credit card. This was not indicated up front prominently. The $15 per night for allocated parking was not indicated up front prominently and when it was indicated after I had booked, it was communicated in such a way that it appeared this was the only available parking, when in fact there was free parking available on the street.

The room was great. Bed was super comfortable and having a clothes washer and dryer was exceptionally nice as it was day 12 of a 14 day holiday. The hotel was located in the main part of town making it easy to walk everywhere including the beach.

The street was a bit noisy at night but it was the weekend and seemed to be quite the party town. Our young adult children did love this though and really wasn’t a big problem for us older folks and definitely nothing to do with the hotel itself.
