I was extremely satisfied with your hotel facility and with your professional and caring staff. You let me know about the renovation work being carried out in advance, so it was of no surprise seeing much work going on when I arrived. Staff were really warm, happy, courteous and friendly and seemed always willing to be helpful. I had an unexpected medical emergency while staying with you. Staff acted quickly and appropriately and showed real concern. Thank you for calling an ambulance and letting the medics into my room - I'll be forever grateful. Thank you for packing up my room with my brother's help and assisting with the return of my rental vehicle. Lastly, thank you for the very kind and thoughtful email received from Dwayne at reception while I was in hospital, inquiring about my health and wellbeing. I did not expect to hear from anyone and very deeply appreciated you reaching out - thank you again.

A good balance of cost and facilities. The room was very clean and comfortable, and a decent size (especially the bathroom). The staff on check out and check in were friendly and helpful. This accommodation is in walking distance to the waterfront, and there were many restaurants available. The breakfast was good and of a reasonable cost. There was more than enough parking in the area behind the centre. The wi-fi was very good. Renovations were happening in the lower area and the staircase was unable to be used. Guests were notified of this prior to arrival, however, and it did not affect my stay at all.

The bath/spa was quite slippery when you stepped into it. There is a grab bar on the wall, but it was positioned halfway down the wall away from where you entered the bath.

The location, it's quiet, has great proximity to the highway for quick trips to the Mount, and it's just 3 minutes away from the best cafe in Tauranga, Doca cafe. Close to the waterfront park and the best fish 'n' chips just down from that too. Love that it has a pool, which we'll use next time. Our room had a spa bath, which we'll use during a winter trip. Lovely firm bed and nice soft pillows. Clean, comfortable, and adequate for a short or long-term stay. The price, WOW! We were impressed and will be back.

The fridge was off, and we didn't notice until the next morning, so our water stayed room temperature. Slippery floor tiles in the bathroom. The toilet has an incredibly loud, gurgling flush which could scare children or light sleepers. Coffee satchets - the brand on offer is not great, so BYO if you're someone who needs a quality coffee.

Upon arrival we were asked by the lovely staff to wait as their Manager Jeffery was expecting our rugby team. That was a great introduction to what would be awesome service all weekend from them all. We were given our keys promptly and all paperwork in order and girls got to get to their rooms quickly. Fantastic rooms and air conditioning was 100% and so clean and really beautiful rooms for our girls. The pool was a bonus!! Our girls made use of it. Thank you for the great service and for being so accommodating. Thank you Jeffery and all the staff. We will be back for sure 100%.

Absolutely nothing!!

I arrived at night time and was tired. Staff greeted us with warm welcome with smile. This uplifted our tiredness and made us feel better immediately. The entrance was very clean and tidy, with double sliding doors, giving a sense of security at entry point. Our room was nice and clean. Bathroom had all the necessities. Upon our checkout, the staff were marvelous, good set of tone and smile that we left with well deserved rest at your host.

On our way to and from our room, there were trolleys for laundry in the hall way and in from the doors of other guest rooms. This can be a hazard if there was an emergency to leave the rooms. Sheets can be scented to give a fresh odor when dropping onto the beds.

Clean

Laundry room, a staff member asked for the dryer to use for a large load of uniforms. I declined to give the dryer for his use as I preferred to wait for a short wash load and then follow with the dryer. Guests should not have to let staff use the washing facilities if there is any issues. The towel rack fell off. The entry door key cover fell off. Inadequate air extraction in the large bathroom. We had to leave the bathroom door open for steam to clear and fresh air.

Location and parking were a definite plus, handy access to the Hotel and parking was good as well, secure and multi-car purposes small trucks can fit.

When you are staying longer than a day, you would expect that staff would do a hand over, on the last night the night staff attendant on desk came with a line of questioning that was rather interrogation style, lucky it was the last night..... or a manager would have been called at 3am

The hotel was easy to find and conveniently located where we needed to be for an appointment along Cameron Rd with lots of safe onsite parking for peace of mind. The hotel staff were very welcoming and helpful. Our rooms were spacious and well-equipped with everything we needed for our stay. We had sky TV, tea and coffee facilities, air-con and a hair dryer, iron, safe, etc. The rooms were quiet and extremely comfortable. We had dinner in the onsite restaurant which was great for a tasty basic meal when we didn't want to venture far. There was also a swimming pool, but due to it still being cooler springtime weather, we didn't have a chance to enjoy that.

There was nothing to fault.

The staff were really helpful when I was booking the room as needed to have facilities due to recent knee surgery. As we were travelling with food they were really helpful putting freezer pads in the freezer overnight to re- freeze.

The room we had was dated and could do with a good clean, as there was dust in corners, skirting boards etc, really needed a spring clean not but a surface clean between clients.

Large rooms, updated fairly recently, nice to have balcony, good (and ample) parking, front desk folks very friendly. A short walk to all the harbour side restaurants.

The walls between rooms are very thin, luckily we had respectful people each night, so no issues. Sitting on the balcony is rather like sitting in a cave because of the tall and solid railing, but nice to be able to walk out, we overlooked pool. Initially a little put off by how ugly the exterior is, but inside was nice.
