Wow - absolutely loved our stay and the romantic bed setup add-on, well worth it. Incredible, private view from our over the water room. Definitely staying again. Great parking, polite, helpful staff. Lovely room and beautifully appointed bathroom including heated floor and nice big spa bath. Great toiletries and the room smelled wonderful upon arrival.

The only thing that was unexpected was the shower rose was damaged so sadly showering was like standing under a dribbling hose! We advised reception so hopefully that gets attended too. If we were going to be really picky a couple of extra pillows and towels would have been appreciated. We were also caught out by needing a knife and a plate and there is no cutlery, bowls or plates in the room, probably standing in a place of this calibre and we got what we needed from the restaurant, but perhaps worth mentioning to future guests. Despite these - we cannot wait to stay in this room again, it was a superb stay.

This isnt the first time we have stayed. The staff are amazing. Beds are great. It was great to see Jacob serving us at dinner again hes a wonderful energetic and vibrant staff member. Levi is an amazing bar tender passionate about cocktails and surprised us all night with his creations. They were all delicious and well made. And he was very personable and interactive with us. Hes got great personal style too, we loved that he wasnt in a uniform and able to express his personality, its a great seperarion from other establishments.

The key code didnt work on the door so we had to go back to receptiion to get a physical card with all our stuff, from the 2nd floor. We then had to wait about 15 mins as the reception was unattended as he was busy (which is fine, but he waa alone) this did delay us a bit. Also the room was by the corner entrrance (242) and the door closing is very loud and this was happening from 7am quite consistently, i will be reqiesronf we dont have a room on that side next time. A vaping area would be a good idea, one that you can access efficiently.

My husband and I lived in Tauranga for 14 years and often return to holiday. We normally stay on the Mount side so it was a lovely change. Trinity Wharf certainly lives up to its positive reviews. Cleanliness is a huge factor for me and the standard was certainly met. The staff we did meet were very polite and professional.

We dined on site the second evening and were slightly disappointed with certain aspects of the dinner, unsure of the necessity to have the bone kept in the beef sirloin and the salad wasn't dressed also the garlic prawn spaghetti was flavourless and the packet spaghetti a let-down. The dessert of Tiramisu and the Basque Cheesecake was definitely a good recovery. No Merlot, replaced with Pinot Noir.

I loved the rooms size - I got a cheap room on the first night which was absolutely fine - quiet, comphy, enjoyed a cocktail on the deck at the bar with amazing music - a highlight. Then had a delish burger for room service. I normally stay at the Mount but for the same cost Trinity Wharf was better and I was only a short drive to get my beach fix at the Mount.

Unfortunately and not fault by the the hotel - I had a few noisy neighbours on my floor. I didn't doing anything a the time but made comment to the front staff in the morning. I didn't mind the 11-12am wake ups but didn't appreciate the 3am one. Lord knows I need my beauty sleep ;) I decided to stay again the following night - too many pro's to not give it another shot - it appeared they there were a few complaint from our floor and I ended up in a lovely quiet room with a view for not a lot more cost. It was FAB !

I enjoyed the stunning waterfront location of Trinity Wharf Tauranga, offering breathtaking views of the harbor. The modern and stylish design of the rooms provided a luxurious and relaxing atmosphere. Additionally, the exceptional service and on-site dining made the experience truly memorable.

The parking options at Trinity Wharf Tauranga could be more convenient, as spaces felt limited during busy times. Some areas of the property, like the pool or certain facilities, could benefit from more frequent maintenance to enhance the overall experience. Additionally, more variety in the dining menu would elevate the culinary offerings for longer stays.

Stunning view, comfortable furniture, bed, and pillows which IYKYK and lovely big spa bath. Welcome cookies and complimentary bottles of water. Beautiful bathroom products for hands, body and hair. Good blockout curtains. Quiet room. Lovely infinity pool. The visit from two swallows (loved this). Did I mention the view?! You're on the East Coast, and our room afforded a stunning sunrise today. Room #109 Spa suite.

No bubble bath or bath salts. Satchet coffee, there was no plunger or pod machine. Most rooms we've stayed in at this price point have one or both. External light right outside our bedroom window... grateful that the blackout curtains minimized this. Dirty windows (internal & external), so please excuse the photo quality

I loved everything, really positive experience. The room was great, everything was clean, spacious, surprisingly good view outside even thought it wasn’t directly at the water, was really nice and relaxing. Great sized bath and shower. The pool was lovely I just wish it had heating for cool days!

Wish the pool was open later and had heating. Otherwise excellent stay. I’ve stayed in more expensive hotels in Auckland and this was by far a much better experience. Thank you I hope it always stays a a good price and I will recommend it to everyone

Great spa bath bed was comfortable and pillows.

The front door into our room had a large gap under the door which let in morning sun and there was a blue light behind the tv. Very noisy from other rooms. The curtains let in light from outside. Couldn’t sleep in with all the light coming in. The staff that worked in the breakfast area needed a lot of training seeing that they were too busy talking to each other to be concerned about your breakfast still hasn’t arrived and you have asked the staff but they couldn’t care less

Spacious room was great. Also, underfloor heating in the Bathroom was nice. Also, having a generous sized Bathroom and a bath included was good. Also, the Lounge and Bar Area downstairs by the Reception Area was very nice. We had drinks and snacks and sat by the fire for a few hours in the evening.

We had to walk a long way from the Reception Desk to get to our room. Also, we were given an 8 digit code to get into our room when our friends had a 4 digit number to get into their room. So I'm not sure why we needed 8 digits. It was impossible to remember 8 digits.

The staff were awesome friendly and very helpful...they did their best to help us out even in unusual circumstances.

Hard beds...although we had 2 singles pushed together to make a double bed I think a mattress topper would of done wonders...also there was blood stains on the sheet that I didn't notice until the next day...single basin instead of 2 basins in the bathroom and if you are paying by debit and not credit card you can expect a $200.00 bond that you will get back 3 days later if room inspection goes well
