It was close to where I came in and left on the Intercity Bus. The bus stop was close for Mount Manganui and Bayfair. It was walking distance to shops and restaurants. The room was roomy and the bed was comfortable.House keeping did a good job. Visiting Hobbiton was really good. Due to the weather on my last day I went to Bayfair shopping centre. I would stay here again if I ever visit Tauranga by bus or bringing someone there.

The bath plug for the spa didnt work. I came to Tauranga for the beaches at Mt Maunganui but it was cold and windy and raining. You cant control the weather. I was lucky I was there on the weekend view of a building site next door. There will be no view once the building is built.

We booked last minute room, as we were out for the night. We didn't check in until after 11pm, and the customer service was still good. Took payment, gave us our room key and off we went. The room was on the first level, it was nice. It has a nice bathroom, toileties, kitchenette, fold out sofa, TV, and balcony. The bed was comfortable, the sheets were amazing. We only stayed until 8am and left to go home. They are doing construction on the building next door, so they had big noice barriers/sheets up so couldn't see a view or anything.

It was quite pricey for the type of room and the area. Tauranga town is nothing special, especially with no view from the room. It was a nice room, but I could get better for cheaper if it wasn't so last minute.

Everything was great. There was enough milk, tea, coffee as well as laundry powder and dishwashing tablets. If I needed clean towels or the bed made that was no problem. The room was very spacious, the beds were very comfortable and we loved the shower!

I would have liked an airing rack to dry some of my clothes that can’t go in the dryer. Also, I would have liked liquid soap when washing my hands or at least, a soap dish to put the soap on. Finally, we had to pay an extra $15 per day for secure parking, otherwise we had to leave our rental car parked across the road. We were not comfortable leaving our car in an open car park, due to the possibility of vandalism. So we took the hit and paid $15 per night for secure parking. Given that we had already paid good money for the room I feel this was a bit of a rip-off.

Our stay was lovely. The guy who met us on arrival was lovely and very helpful. The room was nice and clean and although there was construction outside it didn't bother us at all. The view from the first floor gave us the town on one side with the sea in the background.

The card wouldn't work to get into the room and the girl at reception wasn't very happy she had to come to the room and let me in. On checkout, she still didn't look happy. She didn't enquire how our stay was or if we enjoyed our weekend. Even so, she didn't dampen our spirits and we will definitely be back again.

Ideal location, just short walk to the Strand and Water. Everything spotlessly clean in the room. Bed was v v comfy and huge. Only 1 young lady on reception, who was also cleaning and tidying the lobby. She had an excellent manner. It was my hubby's 70th birthday and we were given a treat complimentary of the hotel. Hubby felt very special. The small patio was lovely. We had a wonderful afternoon and night.

The television didn't work as was needing repair, but it was okay. Just a small hiccup.

Jena or Gina? Sorry I cant spell her name correctly was absolutely fabulous. I travel alot for my mahi and I usually stay at the Quest Mt Maunganui for personal and professional purposes but my last stay there the service was not good, however the lovely Jena/Gina? made my stay at Quest Durham remarkable. From her friendly and professional presentation and manner this lady epitomises customer service and you shojld be proud of her and she deserves acknowledgement. A wonderful stay and I will be back again.

Nothing perfect!

The staff were very nice and helpful. We called in the morning to ask to change rooms because of noise from a night club. Then woken up early by construction noise!. We had a mobile number to call and the manager was very understanding. At 9am we went to reception and were able to move to a new room at 11am.

I booked a studio room through Booking.com but was give an apartment which had a few things missing.

Clean and had all we need to cook and wash laundry

The lights in the bathroom are way too bright with one setting. We didn’t have our room serviced or change of new towels when we got back from a long day out. We paid for 3 people and we weren’t allowed to use the sofa bed cause we had to pay $25 to use it per night and they expect us to use the one bed to share in the room, that is just ridiculous and I’ve stayed at multiple hotels and they don’t do this!

Great location. Staff were very helpful and worked with my needs. Great instructions when arriving late.

Saturday night/early hours of Sunday morning it was nosie with loud car engines, Sunday morning workman water blasting the building next door before 9am, but nothing to do with the apt just one of the things with staying in a city. I don't like having to paying extra for a carpark when I have paid several hundreds of dollars for a room for one person.

It's not my first time here. I enjoyed it always. I liked especially the Spa bath but wasn't working well. I also liked the easy access to the room(s) from reception - my 2 children were in a separate room.

The carpark underground is terrible! Plse get some engineers to re-plan it and restructure it. Get some parking space on street for the hotel as well. Payment to be made to the hotel for on street parking. I liked our ground level rooms but outside porch have easy access to all the rooms on that side. We came back one night and there had been some people smoking outside our porch 🤦‍♀️
