The customer service is very good. I've stayed several times because having thermal communal pool and a private pool. However this is no longer correct. The communal pool is now cold and the private pools have very limited hours with the pools starting to fill at 5.00pm and more tepid then hot

I really enjoy staying at this motel. Just be aware if you are like me and stay because of the pools, this is no longer correct

The room was decent. 2 story with a king bed in the main living area, a separate bathroom with shower and toilet in one room and up the stairs were 3 single beds and a spa bath in the room. This was quirky to have a spa bath in the room. The staff were amazingly friendly and co-operative as we arrived from 2 different town and had 2 vehicles. The pool was lovely and we blobbed for ages. We didn't have a private pool but to have 2 pool options makes this accomodation great value.

It's on busy 15th Ave, lots of sirens went passed, several times. This didn't bother us, we were in the room closest to the road, but if this is something that may trigger you, let the wonderful motelier know.

Convenient location to the hospital. Probably 10 minutes drive to hospital. The moteliers were accommodating and friendly. Close to laundromat and amenities.

Requested a smaller room due to some family member cancellations. The first room we were in had a missing element on the oven, and the power connection in the bedroom wasn't secured. Some maintenance is still underway, with spa pool not available. The room was clean and tidy but a bit tired. We were relocated to another room from my original booking the next day without any issue. The booking paid for was our original booking as I didn’t update booking online due to family emergency. An offer to do repairs in our existing room. Happy with relocation. Very accommodating.

Friendly enviroment & the units are very tidy & always up to standard with the cleanliness always makes the stay welcoming. The outdoor pool & private spa is very good value that deserves to be put to good use every time we stay. The staff & the cleaners are very helpful & always show respect to guests along with lovely smiles all round. Mjy son & I have stayed here a few times & is always priority if in Tauranga. What always becomes a issue every time & quite frankly not sure how to describe this...especially for my son as I see the sad face that sets in starts to infect me also! So what upsets us very much is when we have to leave & say goodbye...always a downer for us haha oops haha

The room was as advertised, pictures on the website are accurate to see what you are getting in terms of decoration and decor. We had the family unit with private thermal pool. For our money we were more than happy with the amenities. The unit is cosy and comfortable. We asked for a late check out on Sunday which was no problem for the staff. The motor inn is situated across the road from Welcome Bay - and 5 mins drive from Fraser Cove shopping centre. The big pool is heated and lovely at night. Friendly helpful staff.

Bennetts is very cost competitive. The units are very clean, tidy, and well set out. Bennetts is definitely my go to Motel. The layout of units on entry into the establishment is very user-friendly, and all units on offer are at ground level. There is no chance of ending up in an upstairs unit when you have a medical condition that prevents you from being able to do that.

There is nothing I didn't like.

Hot tub and pool were lovely.

Quite noisy, no insulation between rooms. Not enough power plugs, especially near the bed in the lounge. No extraction fans in the kitchen or the bathroom, got smelly when cooking, and condensation when in the bathroom. This motel is on a very dangerous corner, they need a well lit sign outside so you know where it is, there is no well loit sign out on the street, nearly missed it every time.

I liked the price for what we got over two nights and having our own thermal mineral pool. We even got some milk and the main pool was also heated.

The driveway is a bit tricky being on a corner so start indicating early. The room pools could do with another paint or just scrape all the paint off and provide an explanation for the pvc pipe in the middle of the room pool.

We loved the spa bath and how you could relax in it while watching T.V, was definitely our favourite thing. Also the nice big bed which was very comfortable as we had the best sleep, loved the fresh clean white linen. Loved the friendly, helpful staff as well, Thank you very much for relocating us into another room because the jets weren't working on the spa bath and also for sorting the Sky T.V. We have stayed here a few times before and have loved our stays every time, Thank you Bennetts! See you again soon =)

Leaving, I wish we could've stayed another night! Definitely booking for longer next time =)

I was delightfully surprised that we got a bed with upstairs beds as well. Having the 'hot tub' made our stay extra awesome

The 'hot tub' although awesome need extra paint work done on it to make the experience even more better. Just felt that when you sat down it did not feel right.
