I came up from Christchurch for 8 days to support my daughter through surgery. This motel is walking distance from the hospital and has a bus outside with a shopping complex over the road. It was so handy. I understood it was not a super fancy motel, booking a private room with a shared bathroom. I was not expecting a brand new building with the top everything. But it is clean, cosy and everyone who stayed in other rooms were respectful and I was not once disturbed. They have separate bathrooms for men and women and I felt comfortable throughout my whole stay showering and using the bathroom facilities, I was concered sharing a bathroom would feel uncomfortable, but it didn't. Any issues I had were dealt with quickly and Lan, who is the most amazing young hostess, is outstanding in customer service. She works so hard to make sure she keeps your room clean and gets you anything you need. She is easy to talk to and is a wonderful assett to the motel. She helped make a very distressing stay a lot more comforting. Having stayed here 8 days, I can confirm that each room is well cleaned before the next person stays. This isn't a 5 star hotel, but it is a 5 star stay in a warm, cozy, clean and comfortable and relaxing environment. I was pleasantly surprised.

The only wee thing that could have been a little more reassuring would be locks on the main bathroom door entrance and the toilet folding doors. I am assuming there is a good reason there aren't because so much effort goes into service here. The shower has a hook you can lock the folding doors with, which gives security. Along with having separate bathrooms for men and women. But this is the only thing I can think of that would have been a bit better.

My daughter stayed in the units for 5 days and in the shared space for 1. Lan who is front of house and also cleans the rooms was incredible in accommodating urgent needs with absolutely no notice. The care and kindness shown under the circumstances was more than could be expected and appreciated more than can be expressed. The unit was private, warm, comfortable, and felt very safe for my daughter. And the shared room was comfortable for a night's stay. The customer service at this motel is some of the best service I have ever experienced anywhere.

Under the circumstances, everything exceeded what could be expected from a motel. There are no complaints.

The hosts were friendly, courteous and welcoming from start to finish. The room was sparkling clean and all seemed very new. The bed was comfortable and there was a well-stocked kitchenette with a small glass bottle of milk - a pleasant surprise because this is not always available in motels now,

Nothing I can think of for myself. Noise from a (supposed) children's play centre meant some noise during the day if people wished to sleep at that time but a guest could ask for a room further away and the noise was not excessive

I like the area and location Bit quite in the night time Room is good The only thing I don’t like in the room is the main door bit tight if you’re going to open door. The kitchen downstairs is good

share bathroom and shower I don’t like that I saw some of the guest they use the toilet They don’t wash their hands. All bacteria is on the door . Some guest they may get the bacteria or they become sick. As you know not only one guest to stay in the Motel. Is more than one!

The staff were excellent and indeed very helpful. We had booked for 3 people...but my son also decided to join in last minute. The staff provided us with a mattress and that too at no extra cost, plus they also accomodated with parking of his car too. So indeed great staff.

Well obviously the place is a bit old, so a few things are a bit run down, but overall it did give us the basic facilities of having a decent roof over our head.

The location was ideal, with shops and eating places across the road. Was not noisy as expected being a main road.

The unit was recently renovated. Felt some things were missing, especially in the bathroom. A mirror with power point for hairdryer or shaver. A small table to put coffee etc near lounge-chair. And why only one when the unit was for two people? Handrail on outside sreps or a ramp - there seemed to be room for one.

The bed in the main room was very very hard. Our room was only serviced on the first night and not the second yet our friends rooms were serviced on both days. Therefore we didn’t have fresh towels

I loved everything about our room and the space it provided.. Comfy bed with the TV, the little kitchen ans all ots amenities.. The shower was amazing.. It was that comfy we didn't want to leave.. What a beautiful space.. Would DEFINETLY stay here again next time we are in Tauranga..

Location! Shopping centre across the road. Staff friendly. The initial view of the whole property, did looked dated. However, the Units were good!

1. TV was difficult to set up, to watch tv 1,2 & 3. 2. Internet was lagging during peak hours . 3. Another TV in the room would have been appealing for me!

Clean, modernised room in a great location for what I was needing and close to shops. Lovely and warm with the heat pump too! The shower was great! Lovely pressure and enjoyed having the option to have use the rain shower head.
