Outstanding attention to detail and cleanliness. More than expected for a continental breakfast, fresh juice, three types cereal, toast bread, spreads, fresh fruit and tinned peaches, yoghurt, and plunger coffee. Host was very accommodating in all ways. Highly recommended for a couple.

There was a well appointed kitchen cupboard, microwave etc, but no sink. The host collected all the dishes from a basin outside the door in the morning and put them through her dishwasher. That is actually a plus, to my mind!

What a lovely place to stay. Loralee keeps it in excellent condition - so tidy, homely and full of special touches. Even down to a crossword puzzle book and earplugs! Breakfast supplies included cereals, porridge, toast and jams. Orange juice and milk were also provided in the small fridge. Everything was spotlessly clean. Loralee took the used dishes away each day to put through the dishwasher and replenished the fridge. The views are pleasant - looking down to the water - and it was only a few minutes into the heart of Tauranga. Thank you Loralee for being such an amazing host.

This was a beautiful place to stay! The room was exceptional and very tidy. Beautiful decor and great amenities. Even had large jugs of milk and juice and fruit. Great location and a very comfortable bed! The hosts were lovely and made us feel right at home. Would highly recommend staying here!

Absolutely nothing!

Loved the tasteful touches like a stainless steel kettle, very comfy 2 str couch, thoughtful bits like umbrella stand, and other homely touches, great view and roomy, safe and quiet place only a short walk to hospital or bus stop, lovely hosts.

Friendly, obliging host, keen to provide information and a good level of service, all with a big smile Many homely touches and in general a very well equipped studio unit. Comfortable couch from which to view Netflix! Parking at door. Quiet location.

Loralei more than willing to do breakfast dishes, given the lack of a sink in the kitchenette, but we did not like to impose. Fluctuating shower temperature one morning, but host rapidly ensured that did not happen again! We would have welcomed a bigger coffee plunger than the one-cup model provided.

I loved the hospitality provided by the host. It made it feel homely, and the service exceeded my expectations.

Nothing! This place felt like they went out of their way to provide the best care for me! Although the WiFi could have been a bit better, that does not deter me from staying again (as well as it may be out of their control anyway).

A perfect place to stay. So comfortable and clean. It had everything you need. The hosts were so friendly and helpful! The breakfast was great. 100% would stay here again. Also, the view from the property was beautiful.

It was so peaceful and very clean. Bed was comfy. All the comforts of home. Loralei is a beautiful woman, super friendly and easy as to deal with. She was very accommodating. Location was perfect for what we needed it for. Highly recommend Botanical Haven. A+++

No cooking facilities but thats no bigger because there was plenty of food options at the centre not to far down the road. There is a fridge, kettle, microwave and toaster though which is still sufficient.

This is a lovely place to stay. We were only there for two nights, but it was during the 2023 January storms, so the weather wasn’t good to be out and about in, even with the right gear. But this place was a lovely literal haven to stay in and read, make tea, and stay dry. Loralei was a lovely and thoughtful host, who had left lots of lovely touches to make sure guests are comfortable, such as beach towels, extra blankets, a hottie, toiletries etc.

Very clean, modern room that was comfortable. Reception was very nice and looked after all our needs. Communication was excellent.

The add pictures showed a balcony with chair and a table that had an awesome view. That is why I rented this spot. When we arrived, the higher balcony view spot was for the owners use. Our area was a table and chairs on the driveway. I would not have rented it if I had known this.
