This is a lovely ground-floor studio apartment within the owners' house. They greeted us warmly on arrival but respected our privacy throughout the stay. The space is open-plan, with the bed and kitchen in the same room, and it felt spacious and well laid out. They had thoughtfully prepared some breakfast items for us on the counter and in the fridge. The beach is just a few minutes away by car—though we visited in autumn and couldn’t fully enjoy it!

I had to deal with a few spiders in the bathroom, but given the beautiful garden at the back of the house, it’s not surprising to encounter these occasional uninvited guests.

Everything that we needed was provided including generous portions and good variety for our sell serve breakfasts in the good sized kitchen. Thank You. Unit is very roomy. Outlook was good and we had an easy walk into town for coffee and lunch venues. Hosts provided us with the necessary card for easy use at the local RSA. We enjoyed our three night stay.

Perfect little place! Pat was very lovely and happy to help if we needed anything. The kitchen was great and had absolutely everything you could need. Lovely continental breakfast included, thank you! Walking distance to the shops and local restaurants! Beautiful view, lovely and clean inside! Thank you for having us!

A clean and comfortable room. Plenty of breakfast options. A short walk to the township with its cafes and bars, and the lovely white sand beach. A sliver of sea and a spectacular sunset from the window of the property.

I can't think of how it could be improved. It was perfect for us for a couple of days.

Room was beautiful with view of ocean. Hosts wonderful and welcoming able to suggest good restaurants. Everything was very clean had a full kitchen which is great if you are staying a few days. Breakfast cereal and yogurt and plenty of coffee. Loved this place!!!

Roomy apartment with all basic necessities, comfortable bed, breakfast provided, parking on site, friendly, helpful hosts, good base to explore Coromandel peninsula. Recommend.

Although not required at the time, air conditioning might be a bonus in hot orcold weather

This accommodation is in a lovely setting with a pretty view, close to the main centre. The owners were welcoming & friendly. They provided breakfast supplies. The room is spacious with a comfortable bed & a very clean bathroom. Highly recommended.

Breakfast was included in the room rate, great choice of cereals and fruit, toast and choice of spreads, lovely not to have to go out and find somewhere to eat. The hosts were very welcoming.

No complaints, would stay here again if back in Waihi Beach.

In a great location. Host was extremely helpful. Dry clean and large comfortable bed. Everything you could possible need to cook a full meal if you wanted too. Plenty of tea, coffee sugar milk, etc and added bonus of breakfast. Would definitely recommend

A perfect place to stay over the summer holidays! Pat and Keith were great, friendly hosts who were super accommodating our entire stay :) we came home each day to fresh towels, linen and a stocked breakfast. The suite is perfect for a couple and has everything you need, including a large fridge, all the cooking amenities you need, good shower pressure, an 8 minute walk to the township, Waihi Pub and the beach, what more could you want! Thanks again for having us :) we had a perfect stay!
