perfect in every way. One block from the beach, close to the village. Close to great hiking trails and a few restaurants. Tina and Larry were wonderfully friendly and so kind and hospitable. They even brought us more banana bread. Laid back and perfect for 3 days of beach walking, hiking and watching the surfers. You can walk on the beach for hours at low tide. not crowded at all. highly recommend.

We had a great time with Tina and the family. Lovely and welcoming people and the place we stayed in looked amazing. A nice plate of fresh fruit put a smile on our face. If you're staying in Waihi and want to feel at home, this is the place to go to.

My second time staying at this top place. So easy to walk to the beach - quiet and peaceful accommodation that is super clean, comfy and with everything you need. Larrie and Tina are perfect, experienced hosts who make you feel welcome and are there to give first class support while also leaving you to relax and do your own thing.

Everything was wonderful! The owners made me feel very welcome. The property was well equipped and tastefully decorated, and a comfortable place to stay. You can hear the sea from the patio, and its is 2 minutes walk to the beach.

Great and comfortable accommodation, helpful and friendly hosts with good suggestions on places to go. Great tip for swimming in quieter water. Nice breakfast selection. Very quiet place and only 100m from the beach. Could have stayed for longer than 2 nights. Easy to relax with nice outdoor seating and table.

Location was awesome. It was nice and cheery and bright but good darkness at night.

Nothing we didn’t like about the property. Felt the breakfast could have been better. They nicely left us some fresh banana bread though.

The space was nicely decorated and that created a bit of a problem -in a small space -because we needed to remove the little ornaments somewhere so we could lay out our stuff.

Stay was exceptiojal and we will be back - lovely couple, beautiful decor, clean facilities with extras, easy access to beach and shops....well stocked kitchenette...!:)

There was everything we could want inside and the hosts were very friendly. The breakfast was excellent too. There were unexpected extras like fresh fruit and banana cake left for us too. Location was great a few minutes from the beach and shops and restaurants.

Hosts Larry and Tina are empathetic and attentive. The rooms are clean and very functional for a few days away. The property is 50 yards from beach access and also a 10 min walk to the Wilson Rd shopping centre.

Even the weather was pretty good!
