The facilities were awesome from a pool for all ages we had kids from the age of 2 - 9 years old , and they all loved it ! I had the 2 bedroom Beachside apartment , it was worth every penny with direct accsess to the beach and sea views. We had 2 mums and kids in there. I also booked the 2 Bedroom Motel . It had a huge room with 2 sets of bunk beds and a king for mum and kids to sleep and then a studio set up for the second king bed . We all slept well in the comfy beds. We would recommend The Secret Garden for dinner on a weekend. It's like a fun Tropical Paradise with delish Pizzas and other options .

The place was quite dirty . Old Coffe cup left in microwave. Hair in shower, marks on walls and curtains .. etc. Booked the sea view and paid extra, but then camper vans parked and blocked the sra views. If #1 & #2 Campervans were not available to park then all units and other campervans would have sea views

I found the receptionist so lovely and friendly, our first time staying here and it won’t be the last. The facilities were awesome, heated pool, spa was great, shared facilities are awesome. Has everything you need for your stay. Plenty of toilets and showering facilities as the cabins don’t come with bathrooms. Plenty of BBQs all around the camp grounds, and the best part is the beautiful beach just across the road. Yummy fish n chip shop 1 minute walk away with the dairy has pretty much all the things u wud buy if u forget toiletries or food, looking forward to going back !

Upon arrival was greeted with lovely service. Our room was fantastic . The whole place is a vibe. Everyone was so quiet from 10pm. I walked my son around the park in his pram. We visited the kids room . We didn't have time for a swim before it closed but it looked incredible . The kitchen looks wonderful and the tv lounge too. Another beautiful gem to bring my whanau (2c 1a) back too. ( Traveling with my 1yo + mum) for work. Unsure if room was meant to come with a little milk but ours never did & a working fan would be my only criticism . Other than that 10/10 for everything. Such a beautiful place to come stay . Such a cool vibe

Enjoyed our night. A very clean and comfortable unit with bathroom facilties close. Our Number 5 was very nice and private with views of bush clad hills.Winter special made it an economical option.

Light outside didn't come on automatically and as we arrived after dark it was annoying.Also didn't realise our unit and carpark was outside the security gate.It would make things easier if this was made clear in our instructions we picked up from the late arriving box.Once settled in we enjoyed out night and would return if in the location again.

The location was great so close to beautiful Waihi beach. Be aware that the walk at the far end is dependent on tides so you don't get caught out. The facilities were clean and tidy. The pool was certainly an attraction hoping in and out of the spa to the main pool. Feeding the eels was a treat and there is a playground for the kids. I would recommend. The staff were very friendly.

A mirror in the cabin would be very handy as would somewhere to hang the wet towels, other than that all good.

Excellent location. Across from the beach. And surf life saving club. Dairy and fish n chips and coffee very close by. Pool and spa was excellent. Pool is heated so not too cold. Small grounds so easy access to everything. Our room was comfortable. We will be back again.

We liked everything but just 2 things to make it more comfortable, we just needed a fan that works. It was hot in our room at night. The tower fan in their didn't do much. And just a small table on deck for coffee etc.

Location was spectacular Alot of activities for kids Plenty of bbq's and a nice and comfortable area to eat family friendly.. Movie room for kids play ground and pool area was amazing.. Beach fish n chips n burgers Definitely recommend a family get away here..

Some guest along with my wife were stung by a bee.. sometimes you just can't help it. It was hard to get a wave or a hello from any of the guest which made me feel a little out of sort as I'm much a people person..

Weather. But that couldn't be helped and was no one's fault.. we still enjoyed staying inside because the space was so lovely and comfortable

Just a couple things I couldn't unlock the door the electric frying pan was stuck on 10 the highest temperature and would switch off if we tried to turn it down and there is only shower in that shared block. I didnt even shower in it as it looked gross. I used the pool shower to rinse off.

The community feel was nice. Awesome showers so strong and hot. So much to see and do. Location of being across the road from the beach was amazing. The reception lady was so lovely really made you feel so welcome.

The cleaning staff were not very friendly. Older kids getting told off in pool for bombing which I get the safety side of it but staff had to walk past a 2 year old all alone in the spa to tell the boys off would of been more concerned of kid unattended in spa.
