The location suited us down to a tee. It was peaceful and quiet, and all the staff that we came across were lovely, and the breakfasts were amazing. The cakes in the cafe were delicious too. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Would definitely stay here again, and hopefully stay in the one with a hot tub😊. Thankyou all🤗

Not the properties fault, but at the minute, I have limited mobility, and struggle with baths(there is a shower over the bath, which I used), so a separate shower would have been nice, but I managed as there was a grab rail near the bath to help me😊

Beautifully decorated property to have a chilled time away. Has all the facilities you’d need . Breakfast choices are exceptional - really high quality of food . The property is decorated to a high standard no expense spared anywhere. Fab views , really comfy bed, lovely bathroom , thick towels, great light airy rooms with lovely views. The hot tub was wonderful backing on to farmland . It was a peaceful retreat . The owners Gary and Vanessa were so helpful and lovely and could be reached if needed , you’d message them and they answered straightaway . The only slight problem was the WiFi but really a small issue in the grand scheme of things . It’s a great base for exploring more of Suffolk , lots of pubs and villages around and onsite they have a wonderful place to eat breakfast/lunch . We’re so glad we’ve found this place and will definitely come back again

We were met by Vanessa the owner who was really friendly and couldn't do enough for us to make our stay comfortable. The room was very clean and had tastefully cozy decor. At night there were many eating pubs to choose from in the picturesque neighbouring villages with Vanessa cheerfully able to give directions. The breakfast had a lot of choices on the menu. We choose the English breakfast which was absolutely lovely with plenty of follow up drinks.

None at all. Only a bit close to the main road but then that made you closer to other locations to visit.

Everything was fantastic, room as lovely all done to a very good standard, lovely bathroom with bath, very cosy. Good location, very nice hosts & excellent breakfast beautifully presented.

Only slight negative was noise from busy road but we probably noticed is as we don't have any traffic noise at all.at home, most people would probably not have found it an issue. As I say everything to a high standard & very comfortable but flagstones outside rooms are very wobbly & uneven , possible trip hazard. Other than that can't fault it, had a lovely stay & would absolutely recommend it.

Bed 10/10 for comfort, shower 10/10 (the most powerful you could ask for), parking and staff attentiveness 10/10 and the breakfast, WOW 11/10 super gourmet coffee (not the cheap bottled stuff), amazing choice (I had the haloumi and avocado with fried egg on sourdough bread) and proper orange juice (Tropicana) served from a cold iced metal base. I didn't have time to explore the grounds or vicinity but it looks immaculately presented. Do not hesitate to book with the lovely Vanessa and Paul who are extremely sociable, knowledgeable about the area and always at hand to assist with any queries.

Minor and being picky but the button flush mechanism in my accommodation (Aspen) was very stiff and might be an issue of you have arthritic hands.

The hosts were very welcoming. The room was exceptional. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The towels were soft and the bath was welcome after a days walking. It was nice to have a bath as well as a shower option in the large en suite. It is so quiet and peaceful i didnt want to leave. Breakfast both days was hot and plentiful. The hosts helped with suggestions to visit the local area. I would recommend anyone going to the Cafe even if they were not staying. I will be back and will book The Lodge with garden and hot tub. Don't miss this gem if you are in Suffolk. Well worth a visit.

We loved everything about the property. It was exactly as described. Steve & Vanessa are excellent hosts and the coffee shop is definitely not to be missed. We started our night away having lunch there before we got into our room. We loved the hot tub and spa bath and the fact that it was very private with gorgeous countryside views. If it happens to rain there is a canopy that can be pulled over the hot tub to keep you dry which is a handy addition. Breakfast was brought to our room and was excellent, piping hot and the best veggie breakfast I’ve ever had.

The foxes den was a lovely relaxing stay. Very cosy room with ensuite and TV and coffee and tea making facilities and an outside patio area to chill out with a drink soaking up the sun. Lavenham is 15 minutes up the road to wonder around and have a walk about. The foxes den had breakfast included in the room price. Staff were so welcoming and the coffee house served fresh homemade cakes and biscuits. Would definitely recommend staying here at a bargain price. I will book the deluxe apartment with a hot tub next time. Thank you Vanessa and staff for a pleasant stay I will definitely be back x

Vanessa and Steve were welcoming, friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was superb, using local, good quality ingredients. Our room was clean and comfortable, it was so quiet too! We certainly enjoyed 3 nights of restful sleep. Vanessa and Steve are so proud of what they've achieved and what they plan for the future...you're doing a great job guys! We will definitely return, it's also such a great area to explore.

There wasn't anything to not like!

From before we arrived, I knew our stay was going to be wonderful. Vanessa messaged to confirm our arrival time and checked it on the day of arrival to ensure nothing had changed. We were travelling with my disabled father in law and Vanessa made the whole stay such an easy and stressless one. Nothing was too much trouble and she went above and beyond to ensure his comfort and his needs were met. Breakfasts were great and served in the conservatory. Steve and Vanessa are marvellous hosts and if we are ever over again they would be our first choice of where to stop, I cannot recommend them enough. Thank you Steve and Vanessa xx
