Booking in was easy, we also booked a round of golf while checking in. Our room(Courtyard) was excellent, large, comfortable and the bathroom with a large shower and a deep comfortable bath was most welcome after 9 hours on the road. There was a good selection for Breakfast, the Northumberland breakfast hit the spot and the staff were excellent, on hand, but not obtrusive. We would definitely stay again when we are in this area. The course we played (the Colt) I think, was in great condition considering the recent weather, one of those courses you would look forward to playing again and again.
The bar was shut at 22.15 when we returned to the property. With no room service or option to carry the night on, it proved to be an early night.

Excellent facilities Very comfortable and immaculately clean Great food Lovely staff Rooms are luxurious
Only a couple of minor things, Our specific room/suite in the terrace had very noisy heating pipes that roared up every half an hour or so throughout the night, but that might have been specific to that one room. It would be ideal if there was a footpath alongside the vehicle route for guests staying to get from their accommodation in the Courtyard/Terrace to the restaurant/reception, rather than walking in the narrow roadway. But overall excellent!

Booked at last minute to attend a family gathering. within minutes i'd had a phone call to confirm booking and check bed type requirements. Our stay was short but lovely. The room was fantastic, everything you could need, lovely toiletries and a proper kettle with supplies. Had to leave very early morning but breakfast was available from 07:30 there was plenty of tea/coffee and toast together with good breakfast choices.
Nothing. Everything was really lovely

Breakfast delicious and restaurant and staff excellent. Went the extra mile. Room perfect, extremely large laid out in style of suite. Large living area, larger separate bedroom with king size bed and ample wardrobes and storage. Large bathroom with roll top bath and walk in shower. I know it was winter, but £100 exceptional
Nothing really

The location is superb. Quality of food and presentation excellent. Front of house desk staff extremely helpful. Our courtyard room was amazing. Tastefully furnished and to a high standard....fabulous.
Being a tad critical our coutyard room was a little dusty. The bathroom floor and lamps needed attention but didn't spoil our stay at all.

The cooked breakfast I had was good. Although it appeared small in quantity this was not actually the case as the quantities were just right and well presented. The black pudding in particular was a quality product and not some mass produced attempt. Both coffee and orange juice also good.

Location and comfort were exceptional Just a lovely place to relax. Staff were very friendly, helpful and courteous ( there was a power cut locally just as we were packing, the staff member in the grounds went beyond expectation to ensure we had not been inconvenienced by this )
The shower mat was left in the shower which had “dribbled”onto the mat making it very wet and unusable. However there was a dry one on the bath rail!!

beautiful bathroom’s, tasty breakfast and great location for walks
I still like this place. Food served in bar/restaurant as we had a bar meal but felt it lacked quality. When we first started to stay here the food was outstanding, let’s hope this improves as it declines with each stay, even contemplated ordering pizza. This gorgeous accommodation is beginning to look a little tired. I hope they update worn headboards and dust a little more. However, they have maintained it’s good value price of a stay by down grading toiletries and the tea/coffee that is offered in your room. I prefer the price but please prevent it from looking more tired as this would be an absolute tragedy if not given a little TLC sooner rather than later.

Despite a little limited choice, breakfast was lovely. My special request for an egg white omlette was accepted. Unfortunately they did not ask if I wanted something in the omlette like ham, peppers and onions etc. But still appreciated.
There was no SKY in the room. Toilet seat was not soft closure Unfortunately our request to reserve a dinner table of our liking was flatly refused. The person in charge didn't look very happy. Maybe one of those days!!

The pillows! Two very soft very flat feather pillows and no alternative.
