Beautiful spacious room. Very clean. Lovely location and very helpful host. The bed was especially comfortable which was a big plus for us. Would stay again just for a good night's sleep. Breakfast very nice, although full english not on offer (which didn't bother us at all). Overall excellent stay and would definitely recommend.

Only very minor things I would change. It was pitch black outside when we went to go out for evening meal. Heating didn't come on early enough in the morning and as it was an old grade 2 listed building, it was chilly getting up to make a cup of tea in the morning. Probably wouldn't bother most people but we tend to wake up quite early.

A really stunning place to stay. Picturesque, calm surroundings and ideally located. Facilities here were truly exceptional, my room was beautiful and comfortable and breakfast was just perfect. A short notice booking due to my personal circumstances, however my host Diana went the extra mile to make my stay simply perfect. What a charming, beautiful property, immaculately presented and a real treat for a guest to stay in. Lots of charm in a lovely, peaceful location. I will definitely return with my wife Angela for a longer visit next time. Thank you for looking after me so well Diana.

Gorgeous location with fantastically attentive and welcoming hosts. The room was cosy and immaculately clean, with a lovely selection of teas and biscuits (that my other half made quick work of). The continental breakfast was high quality and plentiful. We hope to return in the future :)

Welcoming and helpful hostess. Very pleasant and well-equipped room. Excellent continental breakfast (great croissants!). Very quiet out in the country and with lovely grounds.

We were the only visitors at the time, so there was no problem for us, but the information given on our booking stated that the room had a private bathroom, which we were duly shown and used. However, we noticed that there was an extra door in it which opened into the second bedroom which we had been told had an ensuite bathroom. There was a third bedroom which was not in use at the time, but which would, in normal circumstances, have shared the "private " bathroom we used. We thought the advertised description did not adequately reflect the true situation.

Amazing! The host has been very very kind. We talked a lot and she advised us about places to visit. Room large and extremely clean. Gorgeous breakfast. Beautiful house. Very relaxing place.Highly recommended. If we would have the occasion we will return for sure.

This was a gorgeous place to stay. We had an enormous and beautiful room, with great views. The huge, and very stylish bathroom, was just across the landing. This was great value for money and Diana was a great host. Loved the continental breakfast and would definitely stay again.

Stayed here for one night. Great room with good facilities. The host was extremely helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was very nice. Would recommend and would definitely stay again.

Great B&B! Amazing countryside location, when traveling by car its a 20 minute drive from all the facilities of Newcastle. Very nice large and comfortable room with a view onto the garden, on a quiet country road with great views and with lovely hosts with great recommendations about the area. Also two very cute dogs that love to get petted. We had two amazing breakfasts with everything we might want to have; Fresh fruit, yoghurt, hot croissants, toast, various different jams, different granola's/muesli's/cornflakes, and offcourse hot coffee and/or tea. I'm sure I forgot to mention lots of things, a short review won't do it justice!

For us there are no real negative points, but two things to take into consideration when booking are that this B&B has a bathroom that is shared with two separate rooms and that you should make sure to communicate an estimated arrival time so the hosts can turn on the heating.

Beautiful room to relax in after a bicycle ride. Hosts were super helpful and put our bicycles securely away in the garage. The accommodation is on the Reivers cycle way which we were cycling. Excellent continental breakfast.
