From arrival to departure we had an unforgettable experience! The decor was interesting and certainly not dated or 'tired'. The staff were genuinely interested in helping and talking with us. The main reception areas had a thoughtful layout with various seating areas and furniture rather than a 'sterile' kind of place. A nice touch to have a pool table in this area too... The breakfast was very good indeed. It was so encouraging to see a sensible and clever approach to serving and replenishing the food. Our room was immaculate. It was clear the room had recently been refurbished to a very good standard. The garden to the rear of the hotel is very pretty and well maintained. Shame that it was so cold that we couldn't enjoy a coffee out there (not complaining!)
It's really difficult to find something we didn't like... Ok, the step up and into the shower would be tricky if you were less able in some way... The shower had a 'rain' shower head as well as the usual angled / removable one, but it wasn't apparent how we could make the water flow from the rain shower.

Amazing hotel & perfect for a 2 night stay while seeing relatives over the festive period before flying home The room was warm & the temperature control worked perfectly. The bath was small but perfect & lots of hot water. The breakfast buffet was good & the staff were lovely
The towels were stained & smelly even the replacement ones Apparently the sheets had stains on them but I didn’t notice it because I didn’t look Come on Novotel! You have a cracking hotel there for a good price. Sort your laundry services out & no one can beat you 👍🏼

The hotel is outstanding and as I travel every other week and stay different places I can compare it to others and it’s the best I have been by far for a while. Simple comparison with Britannia hotels at airport and gsforth park when prices are the same : The cards always work and need no activation Staff are kind and can not wait to greet you Rooms are cleaned everyday to maximal quality When there is a problem they compete with each other to help you Everyone is smiling and dedicated Place is renovated and perfectly placed at Kingston park Whereas in Britannia hotels , staff are rude, place is dirty, cards need continuous activation, the food are frozen food at restaurant and if you have a problem they are so rude and unhelpful that you never go there again! As a frequent traveler I recommend Novotel to anyone and I stay there next time as well in a week time on 13th and tbh can’t wait to reside there again. Well done to the manager and staff alike

The hotel had a bar and restaurant and they were both quiet. It had a kids corner too. The room was clean with plenty of facilities and the windows were soundproof, which was handy as we was facing the motorway. The toilet was separate to the bathroom. The hotel had parking and was walkable to a Metro Stop.
There was only one lift working, so we had a long wait. The toilets near the bar, only one worked. The bed was a bit hard. At breakfast I wasnt offered a vegetarian option and the sausages were cheap for my husband. We couldn't eat the mushrooms, they were too salty. We had to keep asking staff to fill up the breakfast buffet. At night I had to ask the bar staff to collect the Receptionist. We was having problems with the guests in the room opposite. They did sort this out for us though.

The hotel on entering is nice and bright, well laid out and looks quite inviting. My room was spotlessly clean, there was a bath and shower overhead which was great for a nice soak before bed. Also a little fridge on the room which had I known I’d have utilised as I’m a coffee lover I’d have brought some milk as never find those little portions enough. Room included a hairdryer plus iron and ironing board too. Rituals toiletries in use which was a nice touch and room service available at a £5 charge. The dining area was nicely set out and food could be order via table service. I had the chicken burger which was love and piping hot. Breakfast was self serve buffet which had enough choice. I ordered some poached eggs to have with toast and they arrived perfectly cooked within minutes.

Quite a pleasant stop really. Stopped here for an early flight at Newcastle airport . Was approx 3 mile away and easy to find hotel and airport. Room was clean and spacious with tea and coffee facilities. Bed was comfy and slept well. Easy reach of shops etc as a stones throw from a retail park. Overall a nice hotel for a really cheap price
Nothing really exceeded what I was expecting.

My husband and I, and our son, arrived close to midnight and were given a very warm welcome by the staff on reception. Both gentlemen explained about the parking, breakfast, wake up calls etc and they were polite, friendly and professional. The room was lovely, very comfortable with what you’d need for your usual comforts. Breakfast was delicious, with a great variety and our hot food was cooked to order. The staff in the morning were also very friendly and attentive.
Nothing, to be honest. My husband and I both commented on how great the hotel was.

Parking was plentiful. Public area and reception was welcoming and clean. Check in process was very fast and staff were pleasant and efficient. The room was spacious and had everything required for a very comfortable stay. We were within walking distance of somewhere to eat or just a mile or 2 from a lovely pub. Easy access to Newcastle Airport which was why we booked for an early morning flight. We would certainly use Novotels in future. Very impressed.
Everything was fine

Very clean and very modern. Staff were very attentive and happy to help. Pricing was also very competitive. Literally 5 minute drive to Newcastle airport so if you are flying and planning on staying somewhere this is a solid 10/10 for ease.
Only criticism is we drove through at night from Edinburgh and the hotel is not very well sign posted at the roundabout next to the hotel. We accidentally drove into the premier in. If signage could be put on the small roundabout outside the hotel that would be a lot better for customers.
