I was staying at the hotel due to an unfortunate situation, with plans changing daily—extending my stay, switching rooms—it was exhausting. Throughout it all, the staff was incredibly accommodating and supportive, especially the overnight team. I feel terrible for not remembering their names, but once they understood the reason behind my stay, they treated me like a member of their own family. They checked in on me regularly, asked about my well-being and how my family was holding up, and were always there to lend a listening ear—whether I needed to vent or cry, or offer a laugh when they knew I desperately needed a break from reality. Their kindness helped me through what felt like a living nightmare. I truly don’t know how I would’ve managed without them. Each "Make sure you're taking care of yourself too" as I returned to my room at night and every kind word of support not enough hours later, gave me the strength to face another day. They may not realize it, but their compassion made all the difference.

Great service from the staff. Rooms we're great. Very accommodating to all requests. Restaurant food quality was fantastic and room service also smoothly operated. Breakfast had everything that was needed. Would recommend and would come back. We enjoyed our stay so much, we decided to stay an extra night and managed this directly with the front desk who were polite, friendly and always happy to help.

Lighting is a little dark and the bed size a little small in the junior suite. However comfortable and had a good night sleep. Wouldn't stop me from returning at all.

We stayed here because we were flying out of Newcastle airport the next day. It was a very pleasant surprise. The hotel was immaculate, very modern and extremely clean. The room was big with everything you might need. The breakfast was excellent too, lots of choices from fresh fruit, Greek yogurt to the full English. The staff were very friendly and efficient. We could not fault it in any way. And it was exceptional value.

The entrance to the car park is difficult to see. The road outside is busy and has a bus lane. More prominent signage would help

Convenient location, a short drive to the center of Newcastle. Big and spacious free parking. Wonderful, rich, and delicious breakfast in the restaurant inside the hotel. Overall, it was a good value.

The king-size bed in the room literally occupies all the room, so there is almost no place for anything else in the room. It felt claustrophobic. And there is pretty much noise from the road outside.

Genuinely friendly staff; which is a massive plus. Couldn’t be more helpful. Well situated for easy access to the A1, close to the Racecourse, City centre and Gosforth High Street, a handy superstore and medium sized M&S food store. Good food, bar and breakfast area within the hotel. A Shell Garage almost opposite the Hotel. Close to a bus terminus and Metro; situated together. Easy to get to the trendy bars and eateries in Jesmond. All my favourites and more. Best option if you are driving yet want easy access to everything. Perfectly situated. Plenty of parking space at the hotel.

All great but a room with two single beds are basically side by side with no room to part them. I don’t know if that applies to all twin rooms. Might be welcome for some but uncomfortable for others.

Breakfast was exceptional and the staff in there were friendly and attentive. Reception staff were professional and friendly, chatting about our visit and responding to queries very positively. Despite a very noisy event taking place in the bar, we never heard a thing in our room. We had twin beds - the mattress on one was terribly lumpy but surprisingly comfortable! We both slept really well. The toiletries were lovely, and I liked the little touches like iron, hairdryer, bath mat all being stored in their own little labelled bags. There was plenty of parking.

The room was very, very small. Fortunately we weren’t spending much time in there, but I’d probably request a larger room next time. We were pleased there was a choice of pillows, as the ones on the bed when we arrived seemed like the really cheap, chopped up foam ones you can get from a popular Swedish furniture store! The room and bathroom were very tidy but there was lots of dust on all surfaces, which was disappointing. We were disappointed not to be able to eat in the bar due to the noisy event taking place in there - an area indoors where the music was quieter would be a good idea, but it was so loud it was painful!

The staff here were exceptional. We arrived earlier than expected and the lovely woman on the desk was happy to store our bags. We later met two other gentlemen at the desk who were also very friendly and helpful. The restaurant staff at breakfast were delightful (and the breakfast was delicious). Our room was serviced by Ola and it was spotless. The room itself was lovely and comfortable. The HVAC was great, the bed was comfortable, and all needs had been anticipated. It was great value for money, we loved our stay and we plan to stay there again if we ever visit Newcastle again.

The location was a bit far out from the city, however it it conveniently located right beside a bus stop so it didn’t cause much of a hassle.
