I like this hotel. We stay regularly when flying abroad. It is a budget hotel and you get what you pay for. Parking is at the hotel itself, you can stroll to the terminal in minutes, the bar food is good and they have a daily happy hour for drinks!!! Is it luxurious? Nah! Is it clean? Yes. Are the staff friendly? Yes. Could the rooms be better? Probably, especially if you get one of the older rooms. But, the bed is clean and comfortable and I'm not there for the decor! For a night's stay, before or after your holiday, the Britannia can't be beaten for price or value for money. If you're expecting luxury, you aren't going to get it but you will get a good deal on holiday parking and overnight stay.

The shower was pretty poor but as long as there is hot water, I can put up with weak water pressure! No other niggles or complaints!

Was staying over night for an early flight. With a friend. We visited the bar, bar staff were lovely and friendly, disappointed I couldn't pay cash was card only. Our room was clean beds comfortable. I booked a twin room but was in a family room with bunk beds, it was fine for the 1 night we stayed but wouldn't of liked if we were staying a few nights as it felt a little cramped. The airport is just couple of minutes walk. Can't comment on the food as we didn't have any, but a couple that was booking in the same time as us couldn't book a table as they were busy, so if you want to eat there I would advise booking in advance. Over all I would stay there again

Location is excellent for Airport you literally walk across the road to airport and are there in 5 mins to check in, it’s the main reason I stay here and it’s been about my 5th time now.

It’s what you expect for the room rate it’s old fashioned and not a modern hotel. The shower is old as is the furniture but there is a TV, a kettle and clean crisp white sheets, room is clean and there’s a bar and restaurant if needed. Nice staff friendly. So it’s all you need for one night stay before your flight.

We had 2 nights in this hotel the 1st night on a fly and stay package the night before our holiday the 2nd night when we flew back from holiday. The hotel is excellent value for money, it's clean friendly helpful staff, comfy bed the reception and restaurant are pleasant. We expected the food to be buffet style but its cooked to order, very nice and very good value for money. The hotel is less than a 5 minute walk to the airport and parking is £5 for 24 hours long stay parking is available we choose the fly and stay package which was very good value for money

The bedrooms although clean are dated and tired definitely need some TLC Both the rooms we had got very hot in the middle of the night despite having the window open and the radiators can not be turned down

The price was amazing £39 for one nights stay. Room was good, very clean and of a good size. Comfortable bed with crisp white linen sheets. Kettle and complimentary tea/coffee in room, with more available on request at front desk. Looks like lobby and dining /bar facilities has been recently refurbished. Meals in restaurant were very affordable nothing much over £13 for burger and fries, pizza etc. Easily walkable from airport located just on edge of airport carpark. Would definitely recommend staying again.

They seem to be cutting down quantities of milk in particular in the coffee making facilities. 10 check out is ridiculous for an international airport (though, to be fair, no one was throwing me out after I'd checked out. ) The maids start clunking around at 9 a m. or before. When I stayed there 2 nights between flights last year, over the two mornings, I was disturbed 4 times before I intended to get up. (If they have "Do not disturb signs, I haven't found them .) If checkout were later, I'm sure that they could run a bar and snacks all day at profit: there is no beer before checkout in the airport, and the airport is much more expensive than this hotel where the bar/bar food is only available from 4.p.m.

For the money it was excellent, £57 a night. The pub food was hot, well -cooked, tasty and inexpensive We did not have breakfast as we left at 4. 15 am to catch flight . There is a well lit 3 minute walk across car park with pedestrian walkway to terminal. Could not have been easier. Pleasant staff only too pleased to help. Old hotel so not easy to make attractive but the Christmas decorations were great. This is a cheap hotel which is excellent value for your money. Great idea to start off your holiday by being on the spot and able to relax

Excellent location Ellie who was the contact couldn't have been any better she kept us Informed at all times we got a free upgrade ro a room with a view of the canal in the bathroom were shampoo and conditioners nice touch. Tea coffee and a fridge with 2 complimentary bottles of water fantastic love a fridge in the room heating was on the weather was wet but not cold but it was lovely that when you came In it was lovely and cosy the bed had lovely fluffy cushions and we had a telly which was nice to come back on the evening to be able to watch it as we had 2 dogs with us so we don't stay out late would definitely stay here again

Nothing everything perfect

Location and ease of parking. Ideal for collecting my daughter from the airport early the next morning. Avoided rush hour traffic. Great price for two of us and the dog. Nice temperature of rooms. Very good bath. Clean and tidy, not top of the range rooms but fantastic value for money. Good for welcoming our dog, which is why we booked here. First time our dog has stayed away from home overnight and all was great (5 months old Labrador)

On arrival, lots of guests had left dirty dishes and empty bottles and glasses in the corridors.

Excellent location for access to airport.Well signposted, short ,level path to terminal, with luggage trolleys available to aid transport of luggage.Comfortable accommodation, and request re. low level room /groundfloor accommodated Convenient unhurried drop off facility in car par tho exit trom car park not clearly signed.

Tea/coffee facilities in room a little sparse Internal telephone system for wake up calls would be beneficial and reassuring..
