The room was large and very comfortable with a lovely bathroom. Breakfast was very good indeed. Great location

Being asked to fill out my credit card details on the check in form including the security code. The receptionist said it would be shredded the following day. This policy needs to be ended. Not secure. It would influence my decision to return. The receptionist advised another guest who questioned this policy that this is the norm in Ireland. No it isn't. I have never been asked to do this before in a hotel.

We ate dinner and both breakfast at Benners - all the food was fantastic and the choice a vegetarian as well as for diabetics was good. A pleasant environment, not busy, a great local pub feel to it, although we were in the city centre. Excellent customer service from all staff, there were a couple of old hands, very experienced with people and they knew how to look after you, just a great experience. Parking was up a side road, no problem there. There is a great theme to Benners, they have a staggering amount of historical items in multiple places and displays around the hotel, well worth a visit just for this.

Nothing really, nothing worth noting

The reception and bar were excellent.

The first time we opened the door the handle fell off, the reading light above my bed didn’t work, the grout round the bath was dirty, the hot water tap was dripping the whole time. Two days running the key card didn’t work and had to be reset. The breakfast left a lot to be desired but the meal at night was excellent. Breakfast was 10 euro whether you only has toast and coffee or you had everything . The beds were hard and pillows flat

Location, staff, room and breakfast were all good. No parking but the church next door offered low cost parking and you could park .25 KM down the street for free.

The restaurant at the hotel did not have food that appealed to us but if you like burgers, fish and chips and fried food, you might love it. Lots of other restaurants around to choose from.

We had a delightful stay in this town center hotel. All staff were very friendly and professional. We discovered a lovely area at the back of hotel designed to look like an old street with various shops and nooks where you could explore and enjoy a quiet meal or drink....we thoroughly enjoyed that. Great ambiance and great food..

As a town center hotel, no car parking. But one available nearby for about 10 euro per night...

I booked a single occupancy room and got assigned a lovely large room which was really appreciated. Room was at the back of the hotel, nice and quiet. Great bathroom and shower with lovely toiletries. Good bar food and breakfast. Very comfortable stay overall. I was staying over for work so it was a nice quiet stay which i needed.

Room was very hot but I was able to disable the window restrictor to get some fresh air. Noisy seagulls from 4am but thats no fault of the hotel!!

The room was cosy. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was lovely, with an excellent shower. Breakfast was perfect, with both a buffet and a menu. And, it was great value at only 10 euros.

The room was right over the street, so it was quite noisy at times. Also, we wished there was a fan or some kind of ventilation system, as it was quite warm in the room.

breakfast was excellent but should start a bit earlier say 7am instead of 7.30am / the small expresso machines in every room is a total bonus, where i stay in other hotels./ easy to use and very useful/ also DO NOT place teabag /coffee sachets and uht milk in the mugs. That looks so gross and unhygienic. i have never seen in 40 years this type of layout, it nearly put me off of making a cuppa tea. so had to rewash the mugs. and spill all the contents and then what? all the contents looked so untidy on the table .A small glued tray tray would look so much pleasing to the eye and also all items neat on a tray. do try that in a few of the rooms.

i have pointed out the tea and coffee issues as above, therefore do follow up on my recommendations.

Centrally located with parking right beside the hotel within the church car park. Warm, welcoming staff both in reception and the bar & restaurant. Bar staff friendly and chatty with a good sense of humour. Big shout out to Ethan on reception, polite, friendly and patient. We can get a bit stressed when arriving to a hotel for the first time, especially after a long drive, Ethan brought a real sense of calm to the whole checkin process.

Some additional or brighter lighting in the rooms would help, but that’s just a minor issue.
