It was clean, cozy, comforting, & calm. Plenty of blankets if the scheduled heating in the rooms isn’t enough for some. You wouldn’t think there was a house full of people staying with you, until you come down to breakfast and see people seated in the breakfast room and cars parked in the front yard. The atmosphere is relaxed, with gentle ambient background music, fireplace for effect in the sitting room, lovely seats by the bright window, twinkle lights… I left my phone upstairs so no pictures. Everyone seemed to come to the same wavelength with calm voices and just a relaxed atmosphere. Definitely a place to rest. Everyone was on the same page. The hostess may not even realize that her very nature sets the tone for the guests from her first greeting. Just kind and unassuming; proactive and caring without any pressure on you to interact. She’s a natural pro! I could have stayed and rested longer. Check-out came too soon at this stay. And even then I never felt rushed. Got my puppydog fix with some petting before taking off. This could qualify as a spa-like therapy stay! (Joking, leave the old fella be) My experience here was lovely. As to the facts… the food was plentiful. Delicious tea and excellent brown bread with butter and jam. The meal was served in a way where you always had something to munch on while waiting for the hot portion on top of it all.

What didn’t I like… leaving. I should’ve booked more than 1 night. :)

My wife and I absolutely loved our stay here. This b&b is nice for great views, incredible hosts, on site breakfast, and great location. We would definitely stay here again. This is a family owned company since the early 90’s and definitely have balanced both charming appeal with more modern desires for a stay abroad. Parking was a plus as well.

Rooms were on the smaller side but definitely a worthwhile tradeoff for the other perks.

Luxurious accommodation decorated to a very high standard with excellent breakfast. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Definitely 4-star plus. Very nice lounge and dining room. Just a short drive from Galway town.

Bedroom on the small side with a double and single bed, but very nice and excellent value for money. Size would have been fine if it wasn't for the extra bed.

Beautiful house, very open and sunny and bright. Betty was a wonderful hostess, gave us lots of good info for our trip around the Ring of Kerry. It was very conveniently located to Killarney, about 10 min. straight drive into town with a car park that gave us easy access to all of the city centre restraunts and shops. Would definately stay there again.

I loved the B&B aspect of this place. The owner was very helpful and friendly and her breakfast was delicious. She was very helpful in suggesting places to go. Additionally, the location was close to Killarney that we were able to drive to the city every day and not have any issues. There were so many things to do and this was a perfect location to stay while exploring.

Although the keys to the room are cute, they were difficult to use in opening the door. Additionally, I'm not sure about other rooms, but our room had a very strong perfume smell. It became too much at times.

Excellent hospitality even though the room was only booked an hour before arrival. Breakfast was delicious. We were made to feel extremely welcome even though we only booked an hour before arrival.

The location of the accommodation was a little bit out of town which isn’t hugely important to us but would have made it challenging to make our way into down for a night out without a taxi. (This is not a reflection on the accommodation itself and is inconsequential to our experience)

Great hosts. Nice place. Good breakfast. Location is a few miles from town but right on main highway and easy to get going toward any destination.

Nothing really, but a couple things to be aware of. There is no eating establishments,etc nearby so you’ll have to drive everywhere. Near highway and can be noisy especially if windows open. If highway noise is a concern, request one of the units on the opposite side of the house.

Betty Cronin was a lovely landlady who went out her way to make our stay memorable. Beautiful house and gardens. Facilities were excellent, clean and homely. Very relaxing and enjoyable. Breakfasts perfect anx a good way to start the day. Would recommend a holiday here witout hesitation.

Liked everything. If I was being picky, it would have been perfect closer to Killarney town within walking distance, but driving in the 7 kms was no problem and there is ample parking within the town which is lively and clean.

Dunn Ross is a lovely house just 5 km for the city centre of Killarney. The room was spacious and clean. Despite the fact that the house is situated along a busy road, we didn't hear a thing as we had a room at the back of the house. We were served a delicious, freshly-prepared full Irish breakfast. There were also other options such as cereal, yoghurt, cheese, ham... A very nice stay at a beautiful house!

Great breakfast, host very friendly and prepares the breakfast every morning. A real B&B! Room very clean and you have everything you need (tea, coffee, etc.). Host gave us helpful recommendations for the area. Good location to discover Killarney National Park.

Not negative at all, just be aware that the house is outside of Killarney and that you need a car. Short drive to Killarney.
