A short walk to the train station, very central to the shops and restaurants, we stayed in room with spa bath so relaxing after a long walk, a lovely hotel, staff very pleasant and helpful, good choice of food at breakfast and cooked to order.

The bed was the only negative it was quite squeaky, and as it was two beds put together there was a small difference in height which meant it wasn't as comfortable as expected.The beds in all the rooms are possibly different although this was disappointing I would go back but ask for a different room

The hotel staff were welcoming and helpful. Check in was easy. The room was spacious and the bed comfy. The breakfast was ok, nothing exceptional and made to order rather than a buffet style seen in some bigger hotels. The location is ideal for Killarney and surrounding area, just a 5 minute walk to the main street. Despite there being no onsite parking (as is stated) the nearest car park is just 150 yards away and very cheap at 3 Euro for 24 hours. Don't be fooled by the signs for parking at the side of the hotel. This is 5 Euro per day and is actually further away than you think.

The room decor is a little dark/dull. The view was of the back of the hotel (room #206) so nothing to see. The walls are also quite thin. We could hear those in the next room quite clearly. The room was quite warm and whilst the room has air con it didn't really do much (if anything). There was no water in the room so we took a bottle from breakfast the next day. Later, when the room was made up there were two cartons of water left for us (although we had to use the glasses from the bathroom). It looks like there should have been water initially but was an oversight on the first night. Not a major issue and one that could easily have been remedied if we'd asked Reception.

This was a beautiful hotel and the room accommodations fit our family of 3 perfectly. You couldn't beat the location... it was off the hustle and bustle of the city, but extremely close to shopping and restaurants. The parking was a bit of a walk with our luggage, but it was manageable. The town is lovely and were pleasantly surprised with a 4th of July celebration in the town that held a parade and live music. It was fantastic

The breakfast was included with the price of our room, but the pancakes and waffles did not seem fresh. There was table service for ordering your breakfast, but at times they directed us to refill our coffee at the "to go" coffee pot which was never hot, so that was a little disappointing but not a deal breaker. Just something the hotel could address for further opportunities.

Loved how welcoming the staff were and helpful they were when checking in, it’s in a great spot right when you drive into the town it’s in the perfect spot, within walking distance of everything, the breakfast is really nice great selection, and the ladies serving are lovely chatty women, I booked very last minute as we needed somewhere to stay with last minute plans and I didn’t expect to get such a nice place, definitely would recommend and will be back again next time I’m down that part of country :)

Wonderful location, car park nearby that’s relatively inexpensive, wonderful staff and delicious breakfast. It does get warm without AC for Americans but they’re very accommodating with providing extra fans.

It gets loud at night when the bin man empties the trash bins which woke me up several times throughout our stay. Bad view, room overlooked the trash cans and the street.

Great location. Close to plenty of bars/restaurants. High standard of cleanliness throughout the hotel was very clear. Bathroom facilities very good with Elemis toiletries available. Good customer service in general, with friendly check in and breakfast staff very pleasant, however, check out is 11am and there was no one at reception to check out with. Sign on the desk to go to the restaurant???

Check in not until 4pm??? We did email the hotel directly a couple of weeks prior to see if it would be possible to check in early, however, we received no reply to the request. No water in the room??? This first thing I had to do was pop around the corner to a shop and buy 2 bottles of water for the room. (Is this no longer a basic standard in a hotel???) Mini fridge in the room but was empty??? We were offered an upgrade to the penthouse for an additional €70 but I don’t think it was worth it. Room was dark and some improvements and updating is needed. Some repairs are needed to couple of areas ( plasterwork underneath vent in room and over light switch of the bathroom) Stairwell from penthouse to downstairs seemed littered with excess items that ideally should be stored elsewhere

A good clean and efficient hotel,a good breakfast and a warm room

On arrival,I could see the person looking down the list of rooms and then a chat with his colleague.I was offered an upgrade to a superior suite.Now the catch that will be another E10 per person/per night.Well the room was pretty small compared to the other rooms that we passed in the corridor.The rroom did have a jacuzzi though. In future dont be lured by the offer of "Upgrades"

The strongest point of this hotel is its location, it is right at the centre of Killarney and several very good restaurants are literally paces away. The rooms have a traditional, elegant feel, while being fully functional. The ladies in charge of the breakfast room are particularly professional. There is a large public parking lot up the street.

Nothing. A couple of staff members at the reception were not the warmest I have come across, but all were courteous.

The hotel has extremely friendly staff. We were warmly received by the front desk staff. The location is ideal to explore the city and as a base for the Ring of Kerry. There are two large parking lots next to the hotel, and one of them has two charging spots for EVs.

The restaurant staff seemed overwhelmed during breakfast. We were careful to come early and avoid the busy hours, but they could definitely be friendlier to guests.

Hotel is adjacent to pubs, restaurants, and shopping in this wonderful small town. Tourist activities, gardens and shops are all comfortable walking. The hotel manager, James, is efficient and focused on high quality with personalized attention to every guest. Marie in the restaurant and Anne at front desk took extra time to help me with the local activities. Free breakfast included marvelous Eggs Benedict. I left at 6:15 am to catch 4-hr Flight Link bus to Dublin Airport & James arranged the restaurant to serve me continental breakfast (normal service starts at 8 am). James also has excellent local network and gives good advice for activities during my holiday. Killarney is a spectacular town and Fairview Hotel makes the experience perfect, giving quiet rooms next door to lively downtown nightlife.
