I stayed at The Gardens B&B for 8 nights in June 2024, and I can only say it was thoroughly the best stay possible. First of all, this place is very close to the centre of Killarney, and only a 10 minute walk from the train and bus station. My room was cosy and very quiet, as it was at the very end of the attached building and right in front of the idyllic and peaceful garden. It had all the necessities, a very comfy bed, and I had very restful night sleeps. The bathroom was extremely clean, too. The breakfast was delicious, and the staff was always more than happy to accommodate any particular request. And that's what stood out the most, the friendliness and kindness of the owners and their staff. They made me feel at home since the very first day and even swiftly accommodated a last-minute request, as I had decided to stay in Killarney for two extra nights. I don't exaggerate when I say I had the most beautiful week in Kerry, and part of it was due to the comfort of The Gardens B&B. I'll surely be back. Thank you, Sandra, John, and all the staff for a most wonderful stay.

The Gardens B/B with its lovely garden is in a central location, making it easy to explore Killarney's amenities and beautiful scenery,. A five minute walk from Killarney's Main street. The Gardens is nicely tucked way so you can enjoy a quiet night's sleep.The bed was very comfortable with very good quality bed Linen. Immaculately clean. We were there for two nights and even though we said our room was fine Sandra , the very charming owner , insisted that our room would be thoroughly cleaned, and bed linen and towels replaced. We have stayed in 4 star hotels which do not do that. Loved the charming dining room where a superb cooked to order breakfast is served by lovely young staff. All Gluten Free options catered for. My husband and myself really enjoyed our stay in the gardens and will highly recommend it to our friends and family.

This property is in a brilliant location a few steps from the start of the town centre but in a really peaceful setting. Breakfast was lovely and plentiful you can ask the girls serving to tweak what you want so it's almost a build your own breakfast. The hosts really couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. We did a walk in the gap of dunloe on a wet day and they even offered to dry our gear when we got back, they gave us really got information on walks around the area and taxi and bus information. We will definitely be back

Nothing to grumble about in this property

The breakfast was good, the staff provided what I needed The location is very good, just a short walk to the main streets and it’s quiet.

I only have one concern. This is on the use of the small bar soap in the toilet. It’s wasteful for short stay because it’s only used for a day or 2 and thrown away after the guest left. I think the gel/liquid hand soap would be better because it only needs to be changed when it’s low. Thanks.

Breakfast was good- had several options to choose from. The location was within walking distance of town center as well as train station. There were tables and chairs in the lawn to be able to enjoy being outside.

The bathroom could have had more shelves or counters to put items on. There wasn’t much extra space in sleeping area- just enough to get around the bed. Bacon was too salty for my taste.

The perfect place to stay in Killarney. Such an unexpected delight. A warm friendly welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Only a 5 minute walk to the various bars and restaurants. Killarney House and Gardens only 2 minutes away! Also only 1/2 hour drive to climb Carrauntoohill with the lovely garden to sit in to enjoy afterwards. Would thoroughly recommend if thinking of visiting the area.

The owners at the Gardens B&B could not have been more helpful. We arrived 4 hours before check in time unannounced, we only planned to drop off our bags, but John prioritised the making up of our room, gave us a cup complimentary coffee and we had a chat before checking in. The atmosphere at the B&B was lovely, the gardens are well kept and an ideal location to relax with a glass of wine. Breakfast was perfect, they did not over promise, but I did ask for an arrangement not on the menu, which was gladly received. The location is perfect, it's literally a 1 min walk from all the entertainment, while also far enough that the B&B is not affected by the noise at night. We are both looking forward to coming again.

I can't with good faith fault the Gardens B&B

The garden from beginning to end was a wonderful stay it's a diamond in the ring of Kerry from the reception. I got on arrival very personalabto the room, bright and comfortable. Breakfast was lovely. I needed to in the INEC for 8.30 am, and Sarah, the waitress, may sure I was fed and water in time to be on the road for 8.25 am thank you Sarah food was lovely. Look forward to staying again.

Everything from beginning to end

This bed and brekfast was in a great location to reach the center. The room was large, bright and comfortable as well as the bathroom with also the window. Breakfast was great with various choice food and drinks. the staff was very friendly and helpful. In conclusion there was a magnificent garden a real oasis of peace! I would love to return

Nice continental breakfast options available in addition to hot, made to order breakfast. The B&B has a lovely garden/lawn area surrounded by a high stone wall with shade trees, tables and chairs for guests to use. The owners were friendly and helpful, and location perfect, only a short walk from downtown.

If I had to choose one dislike, I would say the property is a bit outdated.
