The staff were all very helpful, friendly and full of Irish charm. The breakfasts were excellent and the location in the middle of Killarney was perfect. The owners were exceedingly helpful in pre-planning our holiday in Ireland and provided us with information about visits in the area. We had a wonderful holiday and would love to come back to Kerry.

Our bedroom was a little smaller than we expected and we thought that there would be a Residents lounge area (from the received information)to use in inclement weather however the staff did leave the restaurant area open during the day should we want to sit in easy chairs to read or relax. The cleaning of our room was a bit erratic but it did not spoil the overall experience.

We stayed here for five nights and had a wonderful time. I was initially worried because of the noise as I am a rather light sleeper. However, the owners of this place did everything in their power to ensure a quiet night (the sleeping rooms are located two floors above the pub and come with astonishingly well working soundproofing windows). This will of course not change the location itself. If you expect dead silence, booking a room in town centre is probably not your best choice. But it most certainly is the most quiet room you will get in such a central location and despite my worries I slept like a baby. The bed was very comfy and the shower was a dream. Siobhan and her staff were always there to help and advise or have a friendly chat. The most remarkably however was that I never expected to find vegan breakfast heaven in a small Killarney B&B but Norita, this place's wonderful cook, managed to do everything right every big chain hotel I visited so far did wrong. (In my experience when a hotel says they have vegan options those consist of one or maybe two vegetable spreads you will then eat for the whole of your stay, while not seldemly forgetting to mention that all their pastries contain sweat whey) Not only was there a variety of tasty vegan breakfast options - we could choose between Pancakes, French Toast, a full vegan Irish breakfast, a delicious breakfast bagel with Avocado, homemade Chili oil and roasted vegetables, porridge and toast with various toppings in addition to a buffet consisting of cereals, coffee, tea, juice, fresh fruit and vegan chocolate milk. But Norita was also the most open-minded cook a vegan could wish for. She tried many of those recipes the first time for us (you could never tell from the taste of them as they were delicious!) and met us with an honest curiosity I've always been wishing for when non vegans cooked for me.

All the staff were so friendly at every interaction. Even being upstairs from a bar the room was quiet and comfortable. We got to choose our breakfast each morning by filling out a little menu and taking it down to the bar before 8pm each night. The locals in the pub welcomed us though we were shy our first night they brought us in on the second and we had a nice evening.

Lewis road parking lot was just a bit of a walk but so much cheaper than our other hotel stay car parks in the big cities. Staff were very clear in communicating the options to us before our stay

The staff here is amazing ! Everyone was very kind and helpful and I got plenty of advice on what to do in Killarney and around. The quality of the breakfast is not exagerated, this might well be some of the best I've had ! And in spite of the rooms being situated above the bar, I wasn't bothered by noise at all. It was all kept at a reasonable level and didn't disturb my sleep (very comfortable bed by the way). The B&B is very central, everything is within walking distance and it's very easy to get around. This is definitely somewhere I'll stay again !

This place is a gem! Great location, quiet - especially for a room over a pub - warm and friendly staff, wonderful Breakfasts, hot showers! Morita, the chef, is a star! We looked forward to her presence each morning. The ladies at the pub also fantastic (did not get their names). Would definitely stay here again!

There was only one electrical outlet in the room, but we made it work. People were smoking inside the vestibule between the pub and stairs to our room. The smell of smoke never entered our room but the stairway smelled.

Located in the main shopping and pub area of Killarney gave us a great spot to wander about. The bars buzzing atmosphere on Saturday was great and we enjoyed a pint or two. Breakfast was lovely and Norita and Kathleen look after you very well. It can be noisy but that is to be expected with the location, pop the supplied earplugs in and sleep well in a comfy bed.

Not that I didn't like the shower I just wasn't used to the hot water start system and after splashing my whole body and bathroom floor with cold water I then learnt how to turn it on..... lol.

The room was lovely…very clean, well appointed and such a comfortable bed. The breakfast service was exceptional! Chef Norita is not only a wonderful cook but her daily banter and recommendations were the highlight.

It’s a bit noisy being above a bar, but thankfully the bar is not open all night. My room overlooked the alleyway which was a bit noisy at night too.

The location was ideal - right in the center of everything. A block from the Main Street, pubs and restaurants everywhere. The beds were comfortable. In spite of the heat wave, the overhead fan in the room kept us very comfortable at night. The absolute best thing about the property is the staff. The people who showed us to our rooms (and carried our bags up two flights of stairs!!!) were lovely and the breakfast staff were very solicitous of their customers. The food was fabulous for breakfast!!

I liked everything. Even though the B&B is directly above the bar, and you could hear the people below having a good time, everything quieted down around midnight. And if you are super sensitive, they also supply ear plugs.

Breakfast was great...beautifully prepared fresh food every morning prepared by very joyful, friendly and obliging staff. Recipies were shared! The location is perfect...everything is close by including very reasonably priced car parking. All in all, a very good experience.

The rooms were smaller than expected. The bathroom fan was noisy (easily fixed). It really is a very good mid-priced accommodation in the heart of Killarney...

The location of the property is perfect. The staff were very helpful and kind. Breakfast was delicious each day. Overall, a very nice experience. The room was simple but clean and had everything we needed.

The TV was mounted at an oddly high level making watching it near impossible. Having said that, we weren't there for the TV so really not a complaint.
