The staff were absolutely wonderful! My sister and I were treated so well. As young girls, we often find hospitality services don’t always treat us as valued customers, but the staff at this hotel exceeded our expectations. Lesley, in particular, was amazing! He was so knowledgeable about the area, gave us some recommendations and really helped us set a vibe for our day. He’s a complete asset to the hotel, so personable and accommodating! The facilities were great, the pool, jacuzzi and sauna/steam rooms were such a treat. The pool area is low lit, so it’s calming and has a luxurious feel. The room was really nice, very classic Irish style. Bed and pillows were super comfy. The bar was lovely, we had lunch here one of the days and it was fabulous. The “Tipsy Lemonades” are unreal! The cocktails are phenomenal. We had some sent to our room, and they were flawless. The “Pamplemousses Spritz” is by far the best cocktail I’ve had! Breakfast was also great, amazing scrambled eggs and just overall a really good array of food options. The location is perfect. You can walk into the town easily or go for a lovely river walk in the National Park which is right next to the hotel.

The vegetarian options in the hotel restaurant weren’t great, only a vegan burger was available on the menu for dinner and pretty much all of the desserts contained gelatine, which is disappointing as I have a sweet tooth. Most of the desserts can be made without gelatine, cheesecake is a favourite, so this could be addressed easily. The window in the room was also a little small, so the room was a bit dark during the day. These aren’t dealbreakers by any means, so other than that, the stay was perfect!

We loved everything. Very welcoming and helpful reception staff, beautiful room - extremely comfortable bed, great facilities (good coffee - a must - nespresso machine in room!), fantastic leisure centre, relaxing pool, steam & sauna, with a strong Jacuzzi - perfect after an Irish Wedding. Food a high standard, cleanliness throughout the whole hotel, top class, perfect location - I very highly recommend this Hotel - 11 out of 10! Killarney National Park right next door, and the town centre a two minute walk away. I am really looking forward to booking another stay in this Hotel very soon.

There was nothing I didnt like. I had nothing to complain about.

Went for a spa yesterday a pregancy message I think the girls name was brid she was amazing at her job really really enjoyed it and felt great after it.

We booked breakfast for both mornings and we ended up canceling for the 2nd Mornin we did not find the breakfast great and was diffently not worth the money. Staff were lovely but breakfast was not that hot and also I'm not a big fry person and their wasn't much else of a choice I could have such as eggs Benedict or something only cereal and fruit.

Location is always a win for me here at the plaza. Staff are lovely and rooms are always reasonably

My booking was a group so I was well organized but unfortunately while booking in the staff was very confused as to who was in what room after I had already supplied this to them and they also said they needed contact information for these people but never requested this before my stay. Over all this is not off putting just would have been faster as I wanted if staff were a bit more prepared with my group.

Location was terrific & views from our room overlooked Kenmare Place \ Main St. Breakfast was fresh with plenty of choice. The bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom was spotless with plenty of toiletries & towels. Air Con was working well & kept the room comfortable to sleep in. The bar was busy but service was prompt. We ate dinner one night in the Tan Yard - the food was delicious & it was great value for the meal we had.

Lack of hotel car parking is an issue. The public car park was full so we had to go for a drive & return at 7pm to Check In. There was a sports event on which meant no space was available during the day.

The Plaza was a wonderful experience. I got engaged to my partner, and the staff went above and beyond. I've been to Killarney many times, but I've never stayed in the Plaza, but my whole experience was outstanding. I also had dinner in the Tanyard, and I can't speak highly enough of the staff. They were so friendly and accommodating. The food was unbelievably good. My whole stay was fabulous, thanks to the staff.

If I had to pick one small thing, it was the noise outside, but after 12.30 things quite down, so we could sleep.

Excellent hotel in fab location. Rooms were exceptionally clean and very spacious. Bed was amazing and very comfortable. Staff were courteous and polite. Very efficient at check-in. Facilities were second to none from bar / dining to the spa facilities / pool onsite. Breakfast was excellent with varied choice and plentiful. Cooked breakfast was of a very high standard.

Nothing to dislike. Highly recommend and can't wait to return again

Ambience and food Rooms were lovely Staff were very efficient and friendly We hadn’t got bathrobes in our room and I asked a member of staff and within minutes she delivered 2 to the room which were very handy for going to the pool The bar manager looked after us very well when we hadn’t a table booked for our evening meal (my sister joined us for dinner) Even though it was very busy he still managed to get us a table both evening I also loved the location of the hotel for easy access to the town

One little thing I would prefer a shower rather than to hop over the bath in order to shower

The location is absolutely beautiful, the staff is great, so nice and caring, and attentive. The facilities are great. The pool and spa were amazing. We got upgraded to a bigger room which was very nice. The food was very good though a bit pricey.

The location; it is in the center of town which is great, but traffic was awful to get there. There seems to be a lot of congestion in the road that leads to the hotel. Primarily because there is only one main road to get there. Some of the carpets or furniture looked a bit outdated.

Lovely welcome and friendly staff and helpful reception staff when key didn’t work on arrival. A typical Kerry welcome. Lovely Xmas lights and atmosphere already. Loved the food in the bar and the Tan Yard was gorgeous!

I didn’t like the constant smell of the candles burning all over reception, near breakfast room, in corridors etc. a few of us staying there for a conference actually all commented on it. Would actually turn me off
