We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Gorgeous lobby, central location, our room had a wonderful view of the main street and church and the hotel's glow at night. The staff was very nice, and there are several nice options for dining and drinking on-site as well as the countless pubs a stone's throw away. The indoor grotto pool and sauna are nice. My wife had a 60 minute massage and said it was the best spa experience she has ever had, they have some special experiences that come with the packages and she ended up spending almost 4 hours in the spa, a really great value. We spent three nights and had two rooms, one for our high school and college aged children. We were all sad to leave.

The staff were absolutely wonderful! My sister and I were treated so well. As young girls, we often find hospitality services don’t always treat us as valued customers, but the staff at this hotel exceeded our expectations. Lesley, in particular, was amazing! He was so knowledgeable about the area, gave us some recommendations and really helped us set a vibe for our day. He’s a complete asset to the hotel, so personable and accommodating! The facilities were great, the pool, jacuzzi and sauna/steam rooms were such a treat. The pool area is low lit, so it’s calming and has a luxurious feel. The room was really nice, very classic Irish style. Bed and pillows were super comfy. The bar was lovely, we had lunch here one of the days and it was fabulous. The “Tipsy Lemonades” are unreal! The cocktails are phenomenal. We had some sent to our room, and they were flawless. The “Pamplemousses Spritz” is by far the best cocktail I’ve had! Breakfast was also great, amazing scrambled eggs and just overall a really good array of food options. The location is perfect. You can walk into the town easily or go for a lovely river walk in the National Park which is right next to the hotel.

The vegetarian options in the hotel restaurant weren’t great, only a vegan burger was available on the menu for dinner and pretty much all of the desserts contained gelatine, which is disappointing as I have a sweet tooth. Most of the desserts can be made without gelatine, cheesecake is a favourite, so this could be addressed easily. The window in the room was also a little small, so the room was a bit dark during the day. These aren’t dealbreakers by any means, so other than that, the stay was perfect!

We loved everything. Very welcoming and helpful reception staff, beautiful room - extremely comfortable bed, great facilities (good coffee - a must - nespresso machine in room!), fantastic leisure centre, relaxing pool, steam & sauna, with a strong Jacuzzi - perfect after an Irish Wedding. Food a high standard, cleanliness throughout the whole hotel, top class, perfect location - I very highly recommend this Hotel - 11 out of 10! Killarney National Park right next door, and the town centre a two minute walk away. I am really looking forward to booking another stay in this Hotel very soon.

There was nothing I didnt like. I had nothing to complain about.

Beautiful lobby and decor throughout. Beds were comfy, lovely fluffy robes and slippers provided. Luxury toiletries also. The pool is nice with sauna, Jacuzzi and steam room. We had breakfast in cafe du park both mornings it was lovely. Location is perfect right in the heart of the town. free parking but when we arrived back on our second day it was full so had to park in the paid Parking lot. Staff at reception were very welcoming. Definitely recommend and will be staying again.

Went for a spa yesterday a pregancy message I think the girls name was brid she was amazing at her job really really enjoyed it and felt great after it.

We booked breakfast for both mornings and we ended up canceling for the 2nd Mornin we did not find the breakfast great and was diffently not worth the money. Staff were lovely but breakfast was not that hot and also I'm not a big fry person and their wasn't much else of a choice I could have such as eggs Benedict or something only cereal and fruit.

Location is always a win for me here at the plaza. Staff are lovely and rooms are always reasonably

My booking was a group so I was well organized but unfortunately while booking in the staff was very confused as to who was in what room after I had already supplied this to them and they also said they needed contact information for these people but never requested this before my stay. Over all this is not off putting just would have been faster as I wanted if staff were a bit more prepared with my group.

Great location and restaurants, breakfast was excellent. Very comfortable and well equipped rooms (no fridge though). Very pleasant pool. Friendly and efficient staff.

We asked to move from a 4th floor room as the air conditioning units were just above and were pretty noisy, particularly at night. Staff accommodated our request (even though the hotel was fully booked) and moved us to the 3rd floor which was fine.

Location was terrific & views from our room overlooked Kenmare Place \ Main St. Breakfast was fresh with plenty of choice. The bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom was spotless with plenty of toiletries & towels. Air Con was working well & kept the room comfortable to sleep in. The bar was busy but service was prompt. We ate dinner one night in the Tan Yard - the food was delicious & it was great value for the meal we had.

Lack of hotel car parking is an issue. The public car park was full so we had to go for a drive & return at 7pm to Check In. There was a sports event on which meant no space was available during the day.

The Plaza was a wonderful experience. I got engaged to my partner, and the staff went above and beyond. I've been to Killarney many times, but I've never stayed in the Plaza, but my whole experience was outstanding. I also had dinner in the Tanyard, and I can't speak highly enough of the staff. They were so friendly and accommodating. The food was unbelievably good. My whole stay was fabulous, thanks to the staff.

If I had to pick one small thing, it was the noise outside, but after 12.30 things quite down, so we could sleep.

We had a fabulous room with a separate lounge and lovely furniture. This is a grand old hotel with bikes to ride in the adjoining national park and right on the shopping street. The horse and cart rides were across the road - we didn't do one but they looked fun. At breakfast the Singapore chef went out of his way to accommodate our coeliac needs (gluten free) - he made our day and is a great asset to the hotel.
