The breakfast was so wonderful! Excellent cereals and juices and you order off a little menu for full plate meals. We were overwhelmingly satisfied with the service and kindness of Tatler Jack staff!! The pub was lively and fun during our stay since it was weekend nights. But with the window closed the sound was not loud whatsoever from the bands playing two floors below. We enjoyed the atmosphere and the location was utterly perfect. Rooms were nicely modern and updated. Nothing AT ALL to complain about! We’d stay again and again!

It’s too warm in the rooms when the weather is mild. Wish the comforters weren’t so heavy! An alternate light blanket in summer months would be nice. We were sweaty every night. Wish there was the practice of a fan in the room.

Smack bang in the middle of the town and easy to get to. Staff where sound out. Place was spotless and easy check in. Also held our bangs until we were ready to go.

The only issue we had were the speakers on the street that played the same Christmas songs on repeat all night, I was nearly going to climb out the window at one stage to try and disconnect them 🫣 but it is apparently it was council who installed them and the hotel had nothing to do with it but I really could not fault the place as it was out of there hands.

Amazing location and great staff. The room was super clean although a twin bed we had to push together. Breakfast was superb, we had the full Irish and it was spot on, there were plenty of other options too. We had dinner one night and a few beers and it was a good atmosphere with a musician playing as well. Location is ideal for wandering around the town, highly recommend.

Nothing really, it says you may here music and the town at the weekends, but we had a room at the front and we didn't hear much at all.

This place as perfectly located in the center of the village. A nice breakfast served in the morning and a comfortable room.

*If you are a light sleeper, this place may not be for you- music is played in the bar below in the evenings and filters into the room (we were there on a Sunday & Monday night). We were aware of this going in (the staff was intentional in letting us know ahead!); my friend who I traveled with slept perfectly fine and was unbothered by the music, but for me, a light sleeper, I was unable to sleep. So just keep this in mind!

Conviennent location right in the centre of town. Very clean and a lovely breakfast. Good food in the pub but did lack dairy free options.

The rainfall shower lacked good pressure. Prefer a hand held shower. Shower cubicle was quite small. Rooms lacked decaf coffee option Some noise from outside and the band in the bar but that was to be expected for its location.

The rooms were small but comfortable. Also, right on the main street, you hear all the street noise. We had a pleasant time at Tatler Jack's and enjoyed "Eddie" as our main contact with the hotel, pub, and restaurant. The convenience of being right on the main street was nice as we were within reach for any of our needs.

Music from the bar spills into the rooms late at night, but we knew that going in. We decided we wouldn't book rooms again like that for future trips. There were not enough towels in the bathroom, and the shower had nowhere for you to place your soap, shampoo, etc, we had to lay it on the shower floor. The rooms are above the BAR, and YES, You will hear all the music so if you need total quiet, you will not get it. Parking should be included, we had to run across the street to feed the meter daily

fantastic location in the centre of town, the room (twin) was perfect - recently refurbished so immaculate and comfortable, spacious en suite. this was actually the cheapest option for my dates but included breakfast and perfect for our stay. breakfast was substantial and the staff v helpful - they even served us a slightly later breakfast after we had done the local Parkrun.

nothing: potentially it may have been noisy in our room until late but as we had come to enjoy the live bands in town ourselves that wasn’t an issue! no parking on site but again, not an issue as car park 3 min walk away was €3 for 24 hours.

When traveling, we look for unique places to stay. We couldn’t pass up the opportunity to stay above a pub! Tatler Jack is a modern lodging over a great pub in a terrific location. Our rate included breakfast, which was made to order, hot and filling. It was fun to take a “secret” (eg unmarked) door to the hotel.

There were A LOT of slamming doors that were loud. Not sure if it was staff or guests, but if a soft closure could be added to doors that would make Tatler Jack perfection.

Talter Jack is a great place 2 stay Me and my friends stayed in a triple room which was spotless The breakfast had a great choice u could have a full Irish or scrambled egg with sausages or bacon very tasty couldn't fault the place the bar is below great entertainment and a great vibe 2 the place they seve food as well so u could have lunch or Yr dinner we stayed on a Thursday and the bar had a late opening didn't hear a thing from my room above Talter Jack is rite in the centre of the town near all restaurants pub and gift shops and the bus station so if Yr comin 2 Killarney I would recommend this place it was fab 10 out or 10 will be goin there again soon 😆🥳🥳🥳🤩🤩

Great location right at the heart of town. We were warned it may be a little noisy at night as the room was over the bar and near a Main Street but it wasn’t an issue at all - we didn’t hear anything. The bed was very comfortable and the room had everything we needed. We loved walking around the neighborhood, with plenty of bars and restaurants just steps from the hotel.

The parking was hard to find as our GPS sent us in the wrong direction. We had to go in and ask for help (very helpful staff!) but it would be handy to have the exact post code for the car park in advance as there are a lot of closed/one-way streets to navigate.
