Location perfect

Wasn’t great value for money! €300 almost and no breakfast included! Furniture in room worn n some dust n dirt in places!

When the heating in my room went off completely on a very cold night an electric heater was provided on request in the middle of the night. When my electronic keys did not work their uncharged state was confirmed by friendly staff and replaced by reception. The man on the door showed me a particular part of the hotel that I wished to see for reasons of historical research.

The night supervisor security Kieran. Was not very helpful, we had used the gardenn area or the smoking area for 4 nights. The last night we went to ask.if the smoking area was open and he said "No" and proceeded ahead of us to lock the door so we couldn't get to the garden or the smoking area. He told us we could stand outside under an overhang. I smoke a cigar and like to be comfortable . Our room had a balcony which we used on a nice night but it had no chairs He sent up Anthony a loverly helpful with 2 chairs we used on the balcony

The beautiful original features of the Hotel, the lovely staff on Reception (especially the lady who checked us out on Saturday morning), the breakfast dining room, listening to the piano player (which was a real treat), the lovely large bedroom, comfortable bed, great location. The breakfast buffet was excellent, really great presentation. We could see all the work which went into the preparation and display of all the various fresh foods. Thank you to the waiting staff! Lovely service also.

I thought the hot breakfast of scrambled egg and soda farl was a bit bland.

The location was perfect only a few mins walk from the town , right across from bus station /train station. The hotel itself was beautiful. I loved the small touches like the beautiful blinds in the bathroom ,the bed was super comfy, the different firmness of the pillows , the bath was really deep , having a separate shower ,the pool was beautiful, the tunnel down to the pool , the spa treatments for exceptional.

Very poor selection of TV channels. It was only saorview and you only had about 6 channels to choose from as 2 of them didn't work . The TV wasn't even able to let me cast my phone to watch other things and it didn't have any option to watch Netflix or any other streaming service . The rest of the hotel is so exceptional this does let it down a bit

Our room was very spacious and comfortable. Great relaxing vibe in the hotel bar, perfect place for a night cap. Staff were very attentive but not over powering. The breakfast was our favourite part of the stay. Choices available were great and the quality of the produce was second to none. I would highly recommend the Guiness bread! The location was perfect, a short stroll to pubs, restaurants, shopping etc.

Due to the age of the hotel, there was no A/C but a fan was provided in the room.

We really liked the comfort of the hotel and the friendly and helpful staff. The location was great with just a few minutes walk into Killarney itself.

There isn’t anything I could point out that we didn’t like. We did think the 4pm check in was a bit late at first but understood the time needed to turn over from the night previous. We were pleasantly suprised when we went to check in earlier at around 3 that our room was ready.

It is really stylish and the common areas are very nice. The staff are top class and make you feel valued. They have very nice facilities. Delicious but small portion of breakfasts.

The room furniture is a bit dated and simple. The matress wasnt the best I ever experienced in a hotel. It did the job for a night. Room was a bit loud facing the street/railway station.

The proximity to the train station and the town centre!. The warm welcome from the staff from the minute you arrive in the door ! Such friendly helpful staff. The quality of the service is wonderful . The beautiful breakfast ! The Christmas decorations! It's endless ..Quality all the way!

I wish they had Christmas music playing for to add to the fab atmosphere!

Stayed victorian suite in old house room 201, was woken Friday night by noise from room above our room , this continued for over an hour disturbing our sleep same again although not as bad Saturday night , wouldn't opt to stay in this room again for this reason.
