The location of the hotel was perfect with free on site parking and just a 3 minute walk into Killarney town centre with everything that had to offer. The hotel was deceptively large and all the rooms were nicely furnished. Our bedroom was large and very comfortable. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. I was very impressed with the breakfast they provided. You could tell the ingredients were of excellent quality, expertly cooked and beautifully presented - in my opinion the best hotel breakfast I’ve ever tasted. We had a wonderful stay.

Everything was very good.

Very friendly, welcoming, and accommodating staff. Beautiful mountain view from our bay window. Excellent location just outside the busy downtown area. A bottle shop, brewery, and lovely food store very close walk. The bed was cozy and plenty of space to explode our bags. The jacuzzi tub was great after a day out cycling and hiking.

Shower water pressure and hot water was nil unless using the wand from the tub which required holding while rinsing. Other than that no complaints at all. We very much enjoyed our stay.

We loved staying at Abbey Lodge in Killarney, it is a quant B&B and it’s worth adding on the delicious breakfast! It was comfortable and within walking distance to the centre where you will find many eateries and coffee shops. We were also able to walk to all the meeting places for our booked tours! The staff were very friendly, very accommodating and professional. Thank you Mary and Sarah for everything and making our stay very pleasant!

There was nothing to not like.

they had parking and staff explained very well where to go if their lot was full, very close of start of rings of kerry and right across the street from a lovely botanical park/garden. walking distance to main square and train station so many great pubs and small shops nearby--we had budget rental and the facility for rental drop off was right down street 10/10 location. the lodge also had great breakfast offering

Wish the shower was slightly larger, otherwise no other complaints room was tidy and amenities were as needed

From the time we checked in Sarah and Andrew were very helpful. They recommended things to do and places to eat. When we needed help with anything in our room they were right there to help. Where Abbey lodge is located allows for easy access to the ring of Kerry. You can walk through the town everything is close. The ring starts about a block from the hotel. The hotel accommodations were very pleasant and comfortable.

Lack of lift.

Absolutely loved the location of Abbey Lodge. It was an easy short stroll into the town center. It allowed us the opportunity to explore everything the town had to offer. Also loved that they had plenty of off street parking. We traveled in early March 2024 and feel it was a great value. We were greeted with a very warm Irish welcome and allowed to check in early. Although we did not have as much interaction with the staff, we did feel that they were there if we needed them. Added pictures of the view from our room (a bit cloudy), and also one of the available jaunting rides right down the road.

Excellent B&B from all points of view.The bed was really comfortable,, loved the shower with good water pressure. Very good choice for breakfast and everything cooked to order, so nice and fresh. There's a lovely sitting room if you want to chill out. Very well situated, just a couple of minutes walk from the centre of Killarney. The free car park is an extra bonus. So much more homely than the large hotels. I will definitely go there again when I return to Killarney.

Our room overlooked a busy road so a bit noisy in the daytime but wasn't really a problem because it was quiet at night.

Breakfast was excellent - had the porridge and of course tea. Everyone was pleasant and helpful. This facility was very accommodating for my asthma and fragrance allergies, which is greatly appreciated! It is very convenient to walk to downtown restaurants and near the jaunting cart pickup location. Parking is limited, but they also have an adjacent property, so we had parking. Bring a small vehicle.

Everything was great, nothing to complain about. The owner lady has been extremely customer oriented, you can feel this business is her life. We booked a family room (double bed + single) for 2 people, because we were disappointed at other places about the size of beds - here it was perfect! Also the quality of the mattress was super high quality and comfortable. the room was spacious, the bathroom is comfortable and clean - Centrally located, just a few meters walk to the center, easy/free parking onsite.

Quirky place which as the name suggests was the lodge for the long-since-gone abbey (back wall of the carpark is a bit of the original abbey wall). Decent-sized room & bathroom, very comfortable. Only two parking spaces at the front, which was a bit of a worry - but plenty more parking at the back. EXCELLENT location, just a five minute walk from the multiple bars & restaurants of Main Street. On the Ring of Kerry road to the National Park, Moll's Gap etc.
