Arriving by motorcycle, we were initially nervous about the parking because the front drive is entirely gravel, which makes slow speed manoeuvring on a heavy motorcycle, a challenging thing. As we were the only bike, the manager very kindly allowed us to park the bike on a concrete hard standing area to the rear of the property. Thank you. Fate did rather intervene though, in that my wife broke her arm in a tumble outside on the road. We returned to Killeen House where the staff immediately swung into action! Highly competent, caring and helpful in getting her to a local Hospital. The manager also allowed us to leave the bike at the Hotel for a while until I am able to fly back and collect the machine. Service above and beyond anything you will get elsewhere - and a real comfort at a tough time.

The staff were friendly the room was nice the beds comfortable found twin room spacious.

The dinner was a set menu sixty five euro for 3 courses bit pricey maybe some guests are only looking for mains. Change the orange juice for breakfast really awful. The rest of the breakfast was nice.

Killeen House Hotel has an exceptional location with superb views from the garden to the MacGillycuddy Reeks. There is a magnificent viewing point further up the hill in Aghadoe, providing views over the Lakes of Killarney. The hotel is conveniently located for easy access to Killarney, the Gap of Dunloe, and the Ring of Kerry. The hotel itself is charming with beautifully decorated and well maintained public spaces and bedrooms. We visited as a family of four, with two young children, and found the environment to be welcoming and well set up for our needs. Our bedroom was spacious with plentiful storage and a sizable bathroom. During our stay, we enjoyed several breakfasts and evening meals at the hotel. We opted for the bar menu for dinner, which provided desired options for the children. All of the food was freshly prepared to a high standard, delicious, and beautifully presented. Sitting in the restaurant, eating breakfast, with a view of the mountains is a favoured holiday memory. Finally, and perhaps most importantly, the staff team at Killeen House were all warm, welcoming, polite, professional, and ready to help in any way they could to ensure our stay was a pleasant one.

Our second visit to this rather magical place, where the welcome is genuine and warm in excellent rooms with great WiFi, a fabulous restaurant, excellent facilities. and excellent parking. We were greeted like family by "Jersey" the barman and welcomed to an excellent room by Eileen and her team. Nicely positioned for the Ring of Kerry and the drive round Slea Head. The absolute icing on the cake, was the kindness of the lady on reception who helped to clean the sand from many beaches, out of the footwells on the hire-car, with her Henry Hoover! Service absolutely above and beyond kind.

This is a beautiful property outside of Killarney's town centre. Recently updated rooms. The bar area is charming and always staffed! We had dinner there one night, and it was one of the best meals on our trip! The staff were fantastic! One of the managers even gave us a ride into town because he happened to be headed that way. So sweet! The property is about a 10-15 minute drive from the town centre. For us, this was a positive that improved our trip. It was nice and quiet, and very relaxing on the property. Beautiful terrace to enjoy a glass of wine and a book on. If you're continuing on to the Ring of Kerry, this is a great jumping point.

All the staff from porter to manager and chef were so friendly, attentive and kind, it must be the ethos of the owners. I'm guessing and I'm hoping that the staff are being looked after well by management because the staff we encountered are doing a great job for them, all 5 in our group felt the same. I would highly recommend having an evening meal there, 5 star food and service.

The bar area was a little small and there was just one other area you could relax and have some beverages in, but it was also used to check guests in even though there was a small reception area just inside the main door.

The drive in and location of the hotel was fantastic. The surrounding area is quite beautiful with a few seats outside to enjoy the greenery and weather. The staff were super-friendly and very accommodating. The hotel layout was simple, very tidy and quiet in general. Good amount of parking space as well.

The breakfast was bang average for the price. At €15, I would expect a lot more than I received. Same goes with all the food - too expensive. It looks like the general food price across the area (other hotels included) is obscenely expensive as well. The room felt a bit small and there were no fans or cooling. It was humid and uncomfortable during the nights.

Staying one night with work . Absolutely superb . Staff were the friendliest and most helpful I have encountered in years . In particular Xhersi really went above and beyond to make customers welcome and relaxed . From the greeting at the front desk to the goodbye and offer of baggage assistance the hotel exceeded all my expectations Breakfast was of a high standard and an excellent varied choice . To be honest I can’t wait to return .

Excellent breakfast,nice lounge, very friendly staff.

My room, while very comfortable, had a window which opened onto an outside space, & then I think the bar. Unfortunately there was quite a bit of noise from here until fairly late, & also a lot of light from 2 outside lights which were on until very late, so it was difficult to sleep at first. The 2nd night was much better,as the hotel was quieter. However this was a minor irritation only, everything else was great,thank you all.
