Windway House is only a 10 minute walk from the bus and train station and its location is absolutely ideal because the location is really quiet at night so you have the benefit of being 5 minutes away from High Street and Main Street yet you also have the chance to have a great nights sleep. Frank was a great host. Really helpful and really great with guests and he was very funny too. His communication before and during our stay was fantastic and he was really helpful and made sure we got to the INEC on time by arranging transport. Considering the cold snap at the moment, Frank made sure the heating was on and the rooms were really comfortable and warm and the rooms were really clean too which is a credit to the hosts. I would definitely stay here again and I would definitely recommend it to anybody seeking a great location with great hosts.

Everything was great.

We stayed at the Windway House for 2 nights. We were greeted by Frank, who was very accommodating and helpful. He explained all the facilities of the house and our room. He had a very professional and friendly approach. The room was warm, clean, and cosy. The bathroom was a good size, shower was great and few little facilities in the room were nice to have. Clothes line in the shower if needed, blackout blinds on the window, safe in the room etc. The kitchen facilities were minimal, but this was clearly stated before we got there and I found myself pleasantly surprised with them overall. All in all, we had a wonderful stay, we feel the price was very competitive to others in the area and the location in relation to the town was perfect. Within 10 mins we would be in the heart of Killarney centre so well within walking distance but at a distance where the house itself was in a nice quiet area. Thanks again for having us.

lovely guesthouse, just a few minutes walk from the highstreet. lovely clean cosy warm bedroom with private bathroom. I was really happy with my stay. The owner was so nice and helpful, with advice and booked our Taxi to railway station Also , gave us a umbrella to take to the highstreet, because it was lashing rain. He also recommended a restaurant to get breakfast lovely. Will definitely stay there again, thank you so much.

The bad weather, yeah 😒

They did not provide breakfast, but they have room to eat, and Refrigerator to keep your food or drink. For me that's not big issue, we bought our own breakfast food. Room is ok, the bed is very comfortable, just the shower and the bedroom is small and took a while to get the water pressure to be hot. Location is ok. The owner Mr. Frank is very nice and helpful. He did extra for us, took us to the bus station when the taxi driver did not show up/late. We always have a nice chat about things. Ireland, family and our country. Just feel like at home.

Windway House was a lovely guesthouse, very conveniently located to Killarney’s Main Street. The road was quiet, lined in trees but yet you were so near everything. Our room was equipped with everything we needed. Although breakfast isn’t available as stated, you have full use of dining room with fridge, cutlery, tea, coffee etc so you could bring cereal, yogurts etc for the morning. I must mention how friendly and helpful the host Frank was. He recommended some lovely restaurants nearby. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Windway House and look forward to returning

Out of all the places I stayed at in Ireland, Windway House was my favourite! Frank was very welcoming, and gave good recommendations for local restaurants. The room was thoughtfully set up, and had pretty much everything I needed. The bed was comfortable, the mattress wasn't too squishy, and the sheets were nice and soft. The location was fantastic - on a quiet side street, but only a five minute walk away from restaurants, the national park, etc. Would love to return one day!

The water pressure in the shower wasn't the best, and it took a while for the water to warm up - not a big deal though.

Classic, clean, cozy, close to the main part of town (5-7 min walking) and the cutest, nicest host, Frank. Our room was spacious with a comfortable bed and easy shower. The walk to/from town is quick and easy in a cute little neighborhood; it’s nice to be close but far enough away from the noise. Frank, by far, was the highlight of our stay. Such a kind man who met us upon check-in and check out, offered us all information, showed us around and chatted with us a bit telling us a little more about his time in Ireland. We wish we could’ve stayed longer to get to chat with him more. We highly recommend staying at Frank’s wonderful Windway House!

Frank was a very friendly and nice host, he welcomed us at the door and showed us to our room. Everything was extremely clean and tidy, very comfortable bed and homey environment. There was no breakfast provided, but the house has a breakfast room, fridge and microwave if you want to bring your own food. Hairdryer is provided in the room. Excellent location, very close to the cathedral. Ideal for attending a wedding there.

Beautifully set up, charming decor- separate dining and lounge rooms- dining room had fresh water and a fridge where we could store our food. Walking distance to all city sights , restaurants pubs stores. The host is also full of information about local things and travel tips. He is also very funny- he made a great jokes about Aussies

Great quiet location a short 10 minute walk to the centre of town good parking , Frank was a very nice host and showed us around , tea coffee making , microwave , toasters and fridge stocked with water in a communal room would have to supply your own food to prepare as no breakfast is included in the price

other than no breakfast which we new when booking the bathroom was extremely small
