Reading some of the reviews here I wasn't quite sure what to expect and arrived with some trepidation, I was however pleasantly surprised. In terms of fitting the bill for a reasonably priced motorway stop off it did exactly what was required. The car park had plenty of safe, well lit, secure spaces. The room was decent and up to the standard expected, there was little to no ambient noise (IE traffic, slamming doors or noisy people). The beds were comfortable. The hotel is dog friendly and they made a fuss of my dog. The pub was next door was closed for food, so we ate in the hotel, the menu was limited but very good, food to a high standard, actually some of the best Pizza I've had in a while! The staff were friendly and even gave me some plasters the following morning for the journey. For the price I thought it was very good!
Some have mentioned the carpets throughout could do with replacement, which indeed they could but that was the only minor negative - tbh it didn't affect my stay.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was spacious and clean. Kettle with tea and coffee available. The room was a bit warm but the staff gave us a fan to use which was much appreciated. Breakfast was on until 10am which was great, check out at 12pm was even better. Breakfast was good, plenty of choice and all seemed tasty as per family. Close to all routes around Preston and 10 minutes from the venue we were visiting.
We paid £75 for the night then found that the rate was £49 for the night we were there. Bit annoying as I would have thought booking in advance would be cheaper.

Pleasant stay. Used for business and nightshift. 24/7 Reception with snacks and drinks available which is handy on a weekend. First time using Ibis, I usually use Leonardo (Jurys), Travel lodge or Premier inn but this was cheaper than their options on a weekend. Room was basic but it was clean, tidy, and the beds were surprisingly comfortable. For those just needing a base its ideal. Free wifi a bonus. Breakfast was £12 for help yourself to Cooked and Continental. It was fab. Croissants were flaky and soft and the cooked sausages, egg and bacon again all freshly done and checked regularly by the staff. Considering the price paid altogether with the room this was, in all, a great stay. Even better a far more reasonable 12pm checkout than the competition and an easy £15 to extend to 3pm checkout makes it so you can just lie-in. Staff were also very polite.
That I didnt use this hotel sooner for work !

Easy to get too with a restaurant right beside it. Received a warm welcome. Staff couldn't do enough for you - Courtney was especially helpful. I was a little disappointed with breakfast, would have preferred fresh tomatoes rather than tinned and the toaster wdidnt work very well but apart that, everything else was excellent. The housekeeping staff too were hospitable and friendly as we're all staff.
As an ex Catering Manager, breakfast was a little disappointing - individual yoghurt would be better and fresh tomatoes rather than tinned. The toaster didn't toast very well. Maybe a more industrial one would be better. Everything else good.

Exacrly what we needed for a late arrival motorway layover. Even being close to the main road, not much noise. Clean, basic, great price. Breakfast at the next door restaurant cheaper than the added breakfast option - again cheap and cheerful but well made, great value. Staff at both were lovely, even with 2am arrival. EV charger let us leave fully charged!
The standard fixtures and fittings - carpets, curtains etc - a bit tired, but new shower and bathroom, good hot water and all the stuff you actually want were grand.

Keith the manager and his team run the hotel like a well oiled machine he has his staffs safelty and guests safety at the top of his priority so if you smoke go outside if you want to be disrespectful to staff or guests your out which is a comfort knowing we had to stay for about 5 weeks due to a child in icu preston and the care and compassion the staff shown was second to none Courtney and mick were amazing mick doesn't realise how funny he is and lifted our spirits at a time we needed it most and for the people who complained about a stain on the carpet what do you expect it's budget hotel the rooms are clean the bedding is changed daily for a £40 a night for 2 people go somewhere else for 10 times that with miserable staff keep it up Keith job well done in our eyes

Right by junction 1 of M55, handy for the M6. I’ve stayed here a few times now and find it provides all I need for a travelling overnight stay. Dee the receptionist was warm, welcoming and a remarkably helpful host. She explained this hotel and others in the chain. She served me a beer and she answered all my questions. She was a fantastic representative for the Accor and Ibis chain of hotels. The room was comfortable and had a great view of the M55, which I liked. Noise wasn’t an issue because of the double glazing and secondary glazing.
I didn’t like two loud shouting men on the corridor and in their room, smoking and making too much noise. Thankfully my room wasn’t next to their inconsiderate brouhaha.

It was clean and the lad downstairs got us two more pillows. Very obliging. The stay was only one night. And we liked it. But, the only thing that REALLY spoilt it for us, was the CARPET in our room was absolutely disgusting! I understand that a dog room might not be 100 percent clean, but sticking to it and the marks were literally all over the carpet in the room we were put in. We are in our late 50,s & early 60’s and we were brought up to respect things, and we always make sure our dog goes out to pee etc and we respect that other guests will follow us. But the carpet was awful and it just took the “ shine” Off our first night of ten nights away holiday. Apart from that we were pleased with the accommodation , everything there. We could not hear anyone, when we were in our room.. it was clean. Over all it was a good stay. For one night.

Good location Nice staff Early check in 24hr reception Breakfast was okay
The security woman at night had to let us in as the doors locked at night, which felt like an inconvenience for her to have to get up of her seat & let us in. We then wanted some water which was behind the desk which we had to pay for, no water was left in the room. There was no one in reception & the security guard sat back down on the table she had to.get up from & continued to play games on her phone & told us someone would be here in a minute, we waited quite a few minutes before she stopped playing her game on her phone & went into the reception & screamed service to the guy who was on shift who then appeared & charged us £5 for 3 bottles of water.

After reading the bad reviews l was a bit worried about the cleanliness and so was all the family but we was relieved all was good , the only thing we would all say was not enough pillows . But for what we paid for two nights no complaints 😊
