Great food , breakfast buffet was really yummy with good selection . Good hotel with nice pool and gardens to relax around . Hotel staff are lovely . Especially Finns restaurant and housekeeping We were there for a local private event Was a perfect spot to base ourselves.

Check in process can be smoother. Receptionist kept answering phones and could not complete check for a while . Our group of 10 ordered pool side lunch . Waitress was in rush to dump our sandwiches on deck lounge and run away with the trolley. Told us to use only 1 table small table. Whole pool area was devoid of any other guests . No napkins or small plates to put our sandwiches on . Food was yummy as usual. We went and got our own napkins . Sono bother , perhaps they were busy or not used to poolside service.

pool was lovely. Pool towels were hard to get. - not available or still damp from washing. Staff made effort to bring some white bathroom towels instead. Lovely gardens. Nice breakfast area.

reception and sitting area was not airconditioned. Long wait from arriving at 10.30am after cruise ship docked to when room was available at 2pm. Understandable when check-out is 11am but air conditioning would have been nice. Not much do near hotel.

The reception staff are very polite, kind and helpful.. All full star for front Reception staff and restaurant staff , breakfast is excellent.

Housekeeping very poor, Nearly every day i Had to called them for room service ( housekeeping) cleaning , changing bath towels and toilet papers, cleaning rubbish bin, taking dishes from previous night and etc.( just forgot to take photos of all those stuff with date and time for evidence) Very poor service on this part ( housekeeping) or else I would have given all full star.

I spent a night here soon after arriving on the main Fiji island. I was on my way to an island homestay and my night here was a perfect staging for an early morning ferry from Lautoka Wharf. I arrived later than I hoped, but the staff was very helpful in framing what I had to do and how to do it the best way. In the morning I had time for a quick bite at the breakfast buffet and, as pointed out, took a cab parked across the street to the wharf for 2 Fiji dollars. Sweet! The staff was very helpful and gave me walking directions to a nearby ATM so I could get the extra Fiji dollar cash I needed. Oh, and the night I arrived I was served dinner in the restaurant even though I think they were officially closed. Very friendly and helpful service!

All good for my needs. There were some features I didn't explore because I had to leave right away.

I love the location and as it is the only hotel in Lautoka, the hotel was great. The staff was wonderful and attended to our every need with kindness and attentiveness. The room was beautiful and would definitely be staying here again

The only thing I didn't like was that I had to follow up with housekeeping for fresh towels and basic room necessities. There were days when everything was done perfectly but on a few days I had to follow up for things that was missed.

Great location & friendly staff

Every time I have used booking.com to make reservations I have been given a room in the old wing. I found cockroaches during my last stay and again this time, the charging port was not working (when complain to front desk, the response was “yes it doesn’t work” with a smile) and problems with the air conditioner remote trying to adjust temp & fan. Needless to say I will not be using booking.com to make reservations at Waterfront Hotel again.

Great Stay. Our family frequents Tanoa Waterfront yearly. The staff is amazing, especially with our family's little 2-year-old toddler. The pizzas are amazing. The bathrooms could use some love from the maintenance team. The pool is great. All round great experience.

Breakfast, while not bad, could do with more variety as it's almost the same every day. But the breakfast curries do need less oil in them.

Good size room. Beds were comfortable, room very clean. House keeping was done daily so we had clean towels and beds are made everyday. Breakfast was included in the cost and had variety to pick from. Pool was clean.

Cost of food was a bit expensive as we were staying at the resort prior to going to Waterfront and we found the meal cost expensive. Probably time of use of the pool could be extended as the kids and teenagers wanted to spend more time in the pools due to the humid weather but 8pm was the cut off time.

Good service provided by staff. Room was clean and comfortable to stay in. Amenities were in good condition and room was in a good location of the property

For breakfast the restaurant did not have alternative milk like Soy or Almond. This is very poor in this day and age. Their Manager needs to look at these things as the requirements for guests are changing. Also the juice provided with breakfast was full of sugar, no other options available. They can improve on this. Other Hotels are providing these options now and guests do not mind pay extra

We booked the rooms for our family of 7. All facilities are provided as mentioned. Cleaned and well maintained rooms. The best thing was that they serviced the room every morning without requesting, i was impressed. Pool is well maintained and instagram worthy. My kids enjoyed the pool and wife enjoyed taking photos. The greenery and plants by the pool add to the beauty. Staff were super friendly and welcoming. Breakfast buffet was awesome, better than a lot of other places. The staff .. remembered our family by name. One of them even made my favourite cappuccino every morning. They were easily available for any requests via phone. The room service for dinner was great. Their menu is also good. Location is good, has a waterfront view across the road, great for walks. They also have a bar with pool table open till late. I read they also have live music concert every Fri night but we had arrived on Fri so didn't get a chance to experience it.

Check in was late as they were still cleaning the room. We got our room past 4 pm whereas it mentions 2 pm on the website. We got rooms that were in totally different wings. Bit difficult for parents to climb stairs but they didn't have any other rooms available I guess. I thought when we booked rooms for family they would try to accommodate us together. That was the only drawback.
