The staff were very friendly and helpful allowing us to check in a little early during a busy lunchtime. The room was spacious with adequate facilities for a short stay. The restaurant was lovely with a good selection of traditional meals, including gluten free options. A good location for a visit to Salzburg.

There is just something about the pillows in this region. The is never enough filling to give a proper support to your neck, resulting in a poor sleep for us both.

I was there at the beginning of April 2023. The hosts were very nice and polite. The room was clean. It even has a terrace and a view towards mountains! The parking is nearby. The restaurant is in the same building, the dinner was amazing. The included breakfast was great: there were different types of meat, cheese, eggs, juices, coffee. It's located not far from autostrade to get lost, but far enough not to hear noises from the road.

There were no issues at all! One thing, which was strange to me: in the room at the entrance there is a motion sensor, which turns on the lights. Maybe I didn't find the switch for this sensor, but it was turning on the lights when I was moving at the bed, so I had to cover it to prevent the activation.

Gasthof was easy to find and there were a lot of parking spaces. People were nice. We had a nice dinner there, and the breakfast the next morning was delicious. The room was convenient with a large bathroom and reading lamps for all beds. As a bonus, we were allowed to pet the cat.

Wifi did not work. Water turned from lukewarm to cold during shower. No shutter on the windows.

Very clean, large room, sumptuous breakfast, 30-40 min away from central Salzburg (but with direct bus). Surrounding view was awesome too! Great view from balcony as well! Staff were friendly too and allowed me to store my luggage till late night. Highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a short stay in Salzburg

The place is clean, with the possibility to park the car free of charge. Good breakfast. Also, the place has a small restaurant, as well, there you can sit and relax. It's a pity we didn't have the chance to try it (for personal reasons).

If you are sensitive to noise, the bell from the church nearby will wake you at 6 am.

Lovely 'hotel' to stay super close to downtown Salzburg and many nearby locations in Germany. It is a heritage hotel originating in the 13th century. Nice period rooms, good breakfast, and close to many interesting locations.

Nothing! Not fair to complain about lack of AC in Europe, especially in the mountains - so not a negative :-) To the owner: thank you for pronouncing my name correctly ;-)

Everything was Superior.! Very clean and comfortable room, everyday cleaning. Very friendly owner and staffs. Restaurant was very good. The breakfest was varied and delicous. The Simmerlwirt it is in very nice place ! I hope we will return somehow !

Typical and cosy hotel, close to the POI we planned on visiting. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent, lots of options, and eggs are freshly cooked and served.

The mattress and pillow were perhaps too soft for our taste.
