Everything was good, right from cleanliness, location, public transport, things to do around, breakfast, the staff, accessibility to Salzburg. Our room had small kitchen with plates, microwave, stove top, refrigerator. They have indoor and outdoor play area. Free parking. Free coffee round the clock. I would definitely return and recommend this place.

The location of the property and the ambiance of the property was super good. The staff were very helpful and accommodating.

Where do I start... superb. Located near a village, lots of green fields and nature and mountains all around, yet modern and clean. Free parking. Bus station nearby but better drive a few minutes to P+R Salzburg south and get a 24H ticket (15 euros) which is valid for 5 persons in the entire city for public transportation and also covers the car parking. From there busses 3 or 8 go to the city center. Breakfast was amazing and you can have it on a large terrace with view to the mountains. Also you can use the terrace during the day/evening and the coffee machine is running until about 8PM for free Also a second terrace on the 1st floor and an indoor lounge for winter Should you need, they also have rooms equiped for persons with mobility issues - bathroom with handles, shower on the floor, shower chair

No AC, just a fan - rooms on upper floors may be too warm at night in the summer Some noise from the highway when sleeping with open balcony door but not an issue, not that loud

The breakfast was amazing. Fresh cooked, large variety, and it varied each day. Coffee and juice complimentary all day as well. Our group had 2 2 bedroom apartments, and a 3 bedroom apartment. Our family's 3 bedroom apartment was very spacious, clean, with a nice balcony (overlooks the parking lot). The staff was super friendly, very nice and courteous. Ample parking. Location was not in Salzburg but perfect with a car. Easy drive to Salzburg via car or bus (short walk to stop), highways and surrounding area/day trips. Close to grocery and restaurants as well (via car). Beautiful outdoor patio seating, and playground if you have little kids. Also access to laundry facilities for $10 for 24 hours. It was our best stay in Europe by far!

No AC so it can get hot. The kitchen was a little lacking with supplies to actually cook.

The rooms were bit dusty. We all have dust allergies so we can feel the difference between perfect and almost perfect.

The property was very modern and clean. The breakfast was amazing and had a lot of options to choose from. There was a play area for my kids which they looked forward to playing in everyday. The location was also great, it was only about a 20 min drive to Salzburg. The owner was also great with my kids and gave them games to play so they wouldn’t get bored

Really nothing. Our room was on the smaller side for my husband and two kids, but that was it the property’s fault. We had to book the hotel last minute due to unforeseen circumstances with another hotel, so next time we would for sure book a larger room

The is the second time we stayed here for an extended period of time (8 nights). We were accommodated in a spacious Studio room. The beds were comfortable and the room was spotless clean. The bathroom amenities were of good quality. Spacious parking right outside the hotel. The breakfast: During our summer vacation 2023 we have stayed at more than 10 different hotels. The breakfast buffet at Essigmanngut is second to none, it is by far the most superior breakfast experience we have had. Also the coffee/espresso machines and juice dispensers are state of the art. The reception staff are very helpful and friendly.

A non-smoking policy on the shared balconies should be enforced.

We loved the hotel. It is out in nature and even though it's fairly close to the highway, it's super quiet and sparkling clean. The rooms are big enough and the bathrooms are spacious. The hotel offers cold and warm drinks during the whole day, which is nice and offers several lounges to chill in. It also has a huge parking lot, so no need to worry about finding a space. The bus stop is also just 5-10min away the bus leads directly to the centre. The staff itself was mostly very friendly as well. Also after having stayed in lots of hotels, I can say the breakfast here is great. There are so many options!

One minus is definitely that there is nothing around, so you definitely depend on a car/bus.

Super love the breakfast - it was a really good spread and very healthy choices! We also love the mountain view from the hotel and the free coffee and tea offered throughout the day. Location was very convenient and staff were very friendly! We stayed there for 7 nights and never got tired of the breakfast!

We booked a two room suite and was expecting it to be a little bigger with a roomier living room area but it was a little cram for 5 pax.

Extremely comfortable hotel in a beautiful location, with the most outstanding breakfast and exceptional reception service. We were team from Singapore (28 people) coming to compete at an underwater rugby tournament in Salzburg. The hotel was a convenient 8 minute drive from the tournament pool. We were able to book a combination of 5 family rooms (double beds and bunk beds), 1 family studio (includes kitchenette), 1 comfort studio (fits 3 pax) and 2 double rooms. So grateful to the team at Hotel Das Essigmanngut for being so welcoming and helpful, especially Irina! First she helped us with receiving two large parcels (containing an order of our national team swimsuits), then she helped to suggest restaurants for dinner nearby (all less than 10min drive) and made bookings for our large group at our requested time. We had asked what time breakfast would be available as we had an early start (needed to leave by 7am Saturday) and though they initially told us breakfast would only start at 6:30am but they could bring out the cold dishes at 6:00am, on the actually Saturday, we came down at 6:00am to warm dishes already being served! Such service. Everyone LOVED the breakfast - such fresh ingredients and so much variety. Cannot ask for more to fuel ourselves for the competition. The hotel also had a lot of public spaces available where we could congregate as a large group to talk together, including the dining area that was free to sit at anytime, the outside terrace, and a first floor sitting area. Parking was free and convenient for us with all the cars we had to move the group from place to place. I cannot recommend Hotel Das Essigmanngut more - great value for money. Will be back!

Very minor thing but would like the pillows to be fuller and mattress to be firmer. They were a little too soft for most of us.
