Very close to the train station and places I wanted to visit. The old part of town and the Keltic museum are across the river. The Salt Mine tour is a short bus ride away. The breakfast is nice. The building is art nouveau like many in the town and has the original details. This inside has fun decorations. You can enter the restaurant without leaving the hotel. This was good as the night there was heavy rain.

The room only had one window. So I could have used a fan the night it was warmer. But it was late at night and I wasn't going to bother for one.

Really good location just around from the train station so very easy to get into Salzburg and other surrounding attractions. Hotel was well presented and rooms were clean. Breakfast was very good with lots of choices. Staff were friendly and helpful, particularly the younger staff members.

No air conditioning but there was a fan. Bathroom was very small but it was functional. A bit expensive overall but the Salzburg area is generally expensive.

Great sized room, parking on site, lift, plenty of choice for breakfast. Had a lovely evening meal in the restaurant.

Only criticism was the room didn't have AC, so being a town centre location it was a little noisy overnight with windows open. But not to the point where sleep was interrupted.

The hotel appearance and main hall are eye catching, it’s located very close to the centre and easy to find coming from the motorway. The breakfast offers a wide choice selection, and there is the opportunity to have meal in the restaurant until 10pm

The room furniture are quite basic and old, and the shower holder was broken. The sheets were not 100% clean. Nothing terrible to blame, but considering the price comparing it to other hotels in the area I was staying, the aforementioned items should be improved

Lovely location, a couple of minutes to the bus and train station and ideal for travelling around with the mobility pass you get for the duration of your stay. Hotel was lovely and comfortable with a nice big brekkie to start the day.

Free big breakfast, free on-site parking, short walking distance to stores and pretty river, close to salt mine and the summer toboggan slide, friendly staff, nice dinner restaurant on site, decor was good, liked bed pillow snack.

Wish there were a bedroom electrical outlet, but bathroom outlet worked out ok anyway.

great to have family room with twin beds. very clean. good, hot shower, nice selection of meats, cheeses, cakes and breads along with cereals, yogurt and fruit salad for breakfast. awesome location nestled at foothills of mountains. pretty little town. definitely recommend a stay here especially as they provide travel card to get to old town Salzburg by train in 30 minutes, three minutes walk to station and trains run every hour. it’s not modernised, but very charming.

only real complaint was that it was too warm. we were hot despite having all rads off. also could use additional pillows or perhaps thicker ones!

No complaints. For this level of hotel and price, you get a basic, but clean, hotel room. Don’t expect any extras in the room. No kettle, coffee machine, or toiletries provided.

The hotel is lovely and the staff are so friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, there were some overnight roadworks right outside my window at the same time as my stay. Not only did the hotel move my room, but they also packed up my stuff and moved it for me while I was out for the day. Super helpful and friendly. Excellent location. Highly recommend.

Comfortable family guest house. Perfect location for visitors to performances on Perner-Insel for the Salzburg Festival - plenty of on-site parking and easy walking distance to venue. Good buffet breakfast. Helpful staff.
