I would recommend staying here. The location was great for hiking, with hiking routes available from the lodges. It was a quiet area and really had an authentic mountain-living feel! We saw lots of wildlife whilst hiking and it was not too far from the town of Jasper. The room felt secure and was just about big enough. The WiFi connection was good and the ceiling fan was helpful as it was hot weather when we stayed there! The local restaurant Folding Mountain Brewery was great, though not a lot of choice for soft drinks or wine. Miette hot springs was also not far away!
The hotel was great, but the map provided for hiking routes was not well drawn out at all! We found it difficult to work out where we were supposed to be turning. Some of the routes definitely need reviewing, especially the laminated paper numbers to show the routes, at points we saw numbers not even included on the map which was confusing. We had time to spare so could eventually work out where to go next, but this could have gone very differently if there was an emergency situation. The map was not to scale and we found ourselves guessing which way to go most of the time, as there would be an opening or fork in the path and no indication of this on the map.

The room was very comfortable & clean. I like the rustic feel of the lodge. I only had 2 meals there but they were fabulous. I treated myself to the chefs menu with the wine pairing. Even though I am not much of a drinker I thoroughly enjoyed myself. My breakfast was perfect as well and changes were accommodated.
I would have preferred booking a room with the mountain view as opposed to the parking lot. If I choose to stay again I will book through the lodge and speak to staff rather than booking online. Because the weather was very raining I didn’t get to enjoy the patio or the fire pit. Perhaps next time.

Comunicación was good. They call me to see if I was arriving after 11:00 PM as different check in process will be used. When in a hurry, they served breakfast super quick. Staff was friendly and recommended Mittal hot springs which was super close and an excellent recommendation. The hotel has beautiful views and seems very calm. You feel like you are in a lodge in the middle of nature
What I didn’t liked is that the hotel is too far from Jasper, 40 minutes! It was far for every activity we did. I also felt the room was small. The beds were full and for my girls sharing the bed a tiny small. There was no place to keep luggage’s open or dresser to put your clothes. Pretty much had to open the bag on top of the bed every day. I also felt the room had a weird smell and was way too hot, even leaving windows open during the day

We loved the views from the hotel; the back patio area is wonderful and provides beautiful sunsets. The restaurant was good, and we were glad it was in the hotel since the location is a bit isolated and other amenities are not conveniently near the hotel.
This location does not offer air conditioning, they do have fans in the closets in the event it is warm, but we actually had unusual warmer weather than expected. They do not have TV's even though we don't usual watch television when we travel, we would appreciate the option to do so if the weather doesn't permit us to be out of the room. We did not feel the bed was comfortable, but we realize everyone's tastes are different when it comes to firmness of the mattress.

We checked in and were given room 136. We were not aware that the heating was on in the room and had a really bad night with the heat, it was not until morning we realised why it was so hot. We tried to turn the heating off but to no available, Damien from the reception tried to assist but he couldnt resolve it either. After a few hours and various attempts, Damien spoke to the manager and we were given another room which turned out to be a stunning three bedroom lodge number 116. ALL we can say is WOW., thank you to Damien and the Manager for such a beautiful place to stay at no extra charge. Plus we were given breakfast at no extra charge, again thank you.

The location is beautiful, with a large, gorgeous deck and plenty of nice chairs to lounge in and enjoy the views. Indoor communal areas are so cosy, well equipped with games, books etc. Staff were exceptionally helpful, friendly and attentive. Food and drinks were lovely and beautifully presented. Breakfast in particular was delicious and served by a wonderful team. The room was spacious and bed comfortable.
We loved the location as it was quiet, peaceful and so scenic - but if you were looking to be close to Jasper town, this is around 30-40min drive out - though well located for other attractions and points of interest including Miette hot springs. Other than the hotel restaurant, there's only really the nearby Folding Mountain brewery as close-by food options, but both are good. There's also relatively limited facilities in the rooms - there's a coffee maker and fridge. No kettle/microwave etc. and no TV. However, there's plenty of other entertainment options downstairs and a trail map to explore the area, so we didn't find this to be an issue at all. Bathroom could do with a bit of an update.

We loved the decor of the 3 bedroom house. It was a big bonus to have a washer and dryer. It was so quiet in the area. Beautiful scenery. Beds were comfy.
The wifi was really bad. We couldn’t even watch tv the 2nd night. And at some points we couldn’t even use data, we were stuck on SOS mode on our phones which wasn’t ideal. We also didn’t like that there wasn’t locks on the bathroom doors. The last thing is that we were given free breakfast but only for 2 people. And we had booked the 3 bedroom house and had 6 people. It would’ve been nice to have bed and breakfast for the total amount of people in our party.

We had a lodge overlooking the mountains and, when the sun shone, the view was spectacular. The beds were comfortable and the gas fire much appreciated as the days were drawing in. The bathroom was adequate (no plug in the sink) and the other facilities were good. We asked for - and received - a kettle to boil water for tea. There is no television on offer. The staff and the views made this a special visit.
The lodge we occupied in designed for summer use and so, as the nights were colder, we needed the extra heating from the gas fire. A television would have been appreciated - especially as the MLB Postseason was just starting!

The incredible views especially at dinner. Probably.one of the best we have ever experienced. Stunning. Food was top notch quality and good portion size albeit on the pricy side still well worth paying for. Staff were really helpful and accommodating.
Stayed in cabin, which although clean and comfortable was a little on the small size for us as we were travelling heavy laden on 4 week road trip. Being.pinickity, it didnt quite meet the same high standard of the main lodge building.

The venue has a view that is outstanding and the rooms are comfortable. Parking is not a problem and easy access from the main road. The staff were attentive and very friendly, couldn’t fault them.
There wasn’t much not to like as overall it was a very pleasant stay. Though the bathroom was adequate, it could have done with a bit of an upgrade but this is being picky. Breakfast on one morning didn’t have all the ingredients, however the chef worked around this, again being a little picky here, the portion size was a little on the small size that said the quality and presentation were excellent, as mentioned previously all the serving staff were top notch.
