Excellent location, clean room, outstanding breakfast, spacious gym.

I believe that the hotel should stop discriminating against people with tattoos and allow them to use the sauna and the swimming pool.

We went to Busan for the lantern fest at Samgwansa temple and looked for a hotel in Seomyeon: many buses go from Seomyeon directly to the temple or you can even walk there (3km), it takes only 25 minutes to go to Haeundae or Gamcheon village, less to Busan station. Lotte Hotel proved to be an excellent choice: rooms with spectacular views, all the furniture looked newly restored, very nice lounges, excellent wifi, good coffee, beautiful external pool, everyone extremely helpful — we will stay there again, when in Busan.

Everything was great.

Having to pay for a seat at the pool we would have spent longer at the pool if we had been able to sit comfortable at the We had already paid extra to use the pool facilities and then we were unable to sit poolside consequently we did not order a drink or anything to eat

Amazing hotel, really beautifully decorated and staff are very helpful. Great location and great value given the high standards in the hotel. Breakfast and room service also delicious and not bank-breaking for a hotel like this. Very comfy bed & luxurious room overall. Beautiful city view of Busan and big windows. Easy to get around the city, within walking distance of the metro and pickup locations for popular tours.

Unfortunately I was advised that I could not use the pool due to my visible tattoos. Staff advise to wear a rash guard to cover them, but for anyone that has leg tattoos you may want to avoid. Given that the outdoor pool was one of my reasons for booking I was disappointed with this. I may have chosen another hotel if this had been clearer on the Booking.com listing.

The lobby and lounge area are really nice and bright, with sofa seats to rest on while you're waiting to check in. Staff are mostly friendly and helpful, and quite impressive because most of them seem to know at least 3 languages. Location is pretty fantastic as well, since it's near to the station and has a direct linkway to the subway.

They have swimming pools but these are reserved only you booked those better class rooms. We had a standard double room and were told we weren't allowed to use them unless we paid a fee. It's the first time I've been to a hotel that has this, so I was abit mmmmn, especially considering that's the facility that they seem to boast most about (cover photo and all). I ended up not using a single one of their facilities because I didn't see the point after that : sauna, casino, conference rooms etc so I can't tell you how they are.

This was a very comfortable hotel for us. To be honest five stars was a bit generous given the state of our room but we have no real complaints. The hotel has that white glove professional feel when you walk into the lobby and are courteously greeted by the staff. All of the employees we dealt with had a good command of English. It's a tall hotel so there are some nice panoramic views if you book them. The rooms are spacious and well appointed. We had a king-sized bed as we asked for. It's location was perfect for our first trip to Busan. It's centrally located in the business center of the city with two nearby metros and many bus connections which allowed us to explore and fall in love with Busan. The hotel being part of the Lotte business group is located above one of their department stores so you don't even have to leave the building to go shopping and its many eating opportunities as well. It even connects to the underground mall of the metros. Your hotel app should fill you in on it's amenities so I won't bore you. We were never wanting. The wifi was excellent. We loved the hotel and highly recommend it.

OK, yes I have one complaint. The TV's chosen language was Korean and would not allow it to change. Therefore the only app I could stream was the preloaded YouTube.

An absolutely perfect stay. This is a high-end hotel where you feel like royalty the moment you step out of the taxi. Everything is new, spotless, and sparkling. The staff are incredibly friendly, always available, and genuinely eager to help with anything you need. The view from the upper floors is stunning, and the location couldn’t be better—right next to Seomyeon Station, making it super easy to get anywhere in the city. We’re a couple traveling with a 5-month-old baby, and the hotel provided everything we needed: a baby crib, air purifier, and even a baby bathtub. The room was very spacious and comfortable, and the shower was fantastic. There’s even a section of the bathroom mirror that stays warm and fog-free, which was such a nice surprise.

The only downside was figuring out the lighting system. There was one “master” switch that turned everything on or off, and it took us a while to understand how to dim or adjust the lights properly.

The lounge bar was very comfortable and the in house ATM was a good touch and very safe to use. The reception staff were so helpful and professional. The hotel upgraded our room on arrival which was very nice. The hotel rooms are quite with no street traffic noise.

The fact that you have to pay extra to access the swimming pool if you book a lower value room. We did not wish to use the pool as we have one at home but it seems wrong. The lighting in the rooms could be improved as the room was a little dim with all the light's on.

Everything about the hotel was great from the first moment entering the lobby with the great smell and smile of the staff. The reception staff were very professional and kind. The best of all that I dealt with is the Rooms Supervisor, James Park, who were very supportive when I extended our stay by one day and he upgraded the rooms free of charge. Beside the staff, the rooms were spacious, the Gym was outstanding, and the location was prime. The only thing one needs to be aware of is that about the Pools which are only accessible by membership of fees.

We did enjoy our stay very much and I would recommend the hotel to any visitor. The rooms were specious and clean.

+ We were upgraded to a premium double room which had the most amazing view of Busan and the mountains from an exceptionally large window. This became the highlight of our stay in Korea. Thank you, Lotte Busan! + Check in was very efficient and we were able to access our room an hour early. + The room was a very good size (huge for Korean hotels) with a comfortable king bed and lovely bathroom. The layout of the room and bathroom was very practical and well thought out. It was good to be able to set our own temperature with the air conditioner. + Whenever we had a question, e.g. where to buy milk, features of the room, there was always someone ready to help. + There is a large open foyer which offers respite from the busyness outside. + The concierge offered to call a taxi for us, without us having to ask.

- While very comfortable, the room is starting to show its age e.g. the cupboards and drawers don't close properly. - For a westerner, the check-in system is a little cold although it does make for a very efficient process: when you arrive you receive a numbered ticket and wait in the guest lounge (like in an airport). When your number appears on the screen you go to the check-in desk. - As we had arrived early and left our bags at the hotel, it would have been nice to have them taken up to our room. From our experience and seeing other guests on the day, it seemed that guests took up their own luggage. - There is a very bright light in the ceiling that cannot be switched off.
