This is a somewhat dated but clean motel with excellent value. The bed was very comfortable and the room included a sweet screened in porch big enough for a small table and two chairs that looked out at a shaded backyard with a stream/small river and outdoor seating. The keurig worked as did the AC on a miserably hot day and the room also had a refrigerator and microwave. It is located outside the main village of Ogunquit so it is a good walk or a bike ride to town if you don’t use a car. Otherwise, I liked staying away from the hubbub and congestion! Because it was such a miserably hot day, we arrived for check in early and the staff had no problem allowing us to check in early!

There are no “luxuries” at this motel (no pool, no fitness facilities, no sauna) but again, it is excellent value and very clean. We stayed one night to see a play at Ogunquit Playhouse and it worked out fine for us.

Great location right at the end of Ogunquit, minutes from the Playhouse. Our ground floor room in the back was very nice, and overlooked a stream with ducks, and several gazebos and sitting areas; it was just lovely and felt very private. The room was very clean, and had a microwave, frig, sitting area with desk and loveseat. The area felt very safe, staff was very friendly. We appreciated the cable TV. Great value for a room in this area of town!

There weren't any sheer curtains underneath the heavy, blackout curtains, so when you woke up, you either had to keep the heavy curtains shut, or lose all privacy, as everyone walking by could see in. The bed was a bit firm for our taste, but that's a personal preference. There was no outlet cover over the outlet by the desk, which is a safety hazard. They also forgot to remove the plastic and wrapping from the desk chair legs. We would have appreciated an extra blanket for the bed, also. We stayed in Room #10.

The Towne Lyne motel was great. My wife and I celebrated our anniversary in Ogunquit and stayed here. I sent a message to Towne Lyne Motel to see if they could have some flowers in the room for our anniversary and they were able to meet this request for me. The rooms were modern and clean, this is not your typical motel, this is a much nicer experience. I would recommend this to anybody.

Hidden gem in Ogunquit. Not too far from the beach and very reasonable rates compared to other hotels. clean comfortable room with a nice amount of space. Ask for a room on the river side and you won’t hear any traffic.

Reasonably priced, very clean, pleasant staff & location. I heard some rooms have been renovated and we got one in room #8. Small bathroom, but had all we needed for a short 3 night stay.

No breakfast, but not a big deal to us. Could use more comfortable pillows and love seat.

So cozy and clean, felt so safe there. Such a great price as well, absolutely met our expectations. I wish we could’ve stayed longer! We definitely will be returning.

No good window views since it’s not near the ocean or anything, but we did see lots of bunnies and squirrels in the backyard!

Very helpful and informative manager and staff. Spotlessly clean room. Bonus - a screened balcony sitting area off the back of the room overlooking a forest. Perfect for morning coffee. Good selection of restaurants within walking distance, one of the main beach access points a short walk away. Pickup point for shuttle trolly to the center of Ogunquit close by.

We're greatful this motel was able to accommodate us, since I inadvertently made a reservation for different dates. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. There is a trolly stop nearby, so if people didn't feel like walking to the beach, they could take it nearby.

- location and staff - laminate floors - comfortable bed and pillows, clean white sheets - extra towels given every day

- footsteps on the floor above were very audible and disturbed our sleep - floor left feet dirty if barefoot

Great location, close to the road, but quiet at night. Our room faced the river in the back, where there were chairs and gazebos, very cozy. Room was clean, great shower with strong hot water.

Although it was summer, I wish they still had winter blankets. And as all the hotels that time if the year - a bit pricey.
