Definitely a relaxing retreat, immersed in nature away from the bustle. Fireplace was loaded with wood ready to get toasty. Freshly made bread and fruit platter awaited us. There was a spa bath on the back deck (didn’t use, but would have been superb, as you look out onto the tops of trees). Service was excellent - Lachlan was very nice to deal with.

Only downside was we were two couples and one bedroom had a queen bed, and the 2nd bedroom had two singles (and advertised as a double bed in both rooms).

Tranquil spot, stunning route to property. Some really thoughtful touches, such as regular delivery of fresh baked bread, fresh juice and milk and provision of books, games, info. Beds were super comfortable.

Settees could have been more comfortable. Getting to and from the main road takes a little time, but it is the price of seclusion.

Our stay was comfortable and relaxing, providing the perfect getaway from our busy schedules. The peaceful, calm, and quiet atmosphere made it an ideal retreat. The freshly baked bread and the best continental breakfast were delightful highlights of our mornings. A special thanks to Lachlan, our host, for his exceptional hospitality. Great breakfast consisting of fresh fruits, bread, juice, milk, yogurt and cereal. Butter, jam and vegemite for toast. In the countryside. We spent 5 nights here. Loved waking up to all of the birds chirping and great views of the stars at night. Easy drives to Lake Eacham and Barrine in Crater Lakes National Park, Barron Falls, Yungaburra, Curtain Fig Tree National Park and much more.

The apartment was spacious and really well equipped. We loved the outdoor heated spa. The bed was super comfy too. The breakfast hamper was more than adequate and a nice touch with the home baked loaf of bread.

Nice villa, though ours did not have much views, just jungle from balcony. Very clean and the owner is thoughtful and helpful. Breakfast is delicious. Quite remote, but that’s good.

A better view would have been nice. Also, the villa is built on a hill which caused a noticeable nearly constant swaying when walking around or in wind gusts. Owner assured us this was fine.

a little far from shops/restaurants so had to be prepared with dinner if didn’t want to leave the awesome accommodation after a day driving but there was everything you needed to prepare a meal as long as you has supplies (which we did). It wasn’t very far really so I’m probably just trying to say something to answer this question as I actually enjoyed a night off pub food

The facilities and provisions provided were beyond expectation. Amazing food and everything else you could think of was provided (eg. Fly spray and mosquito coils). Such a wonderful owner who was helpful for anything we needed. The spa on the balcony overlooking the rainforest was amazing!

Size, furnishings, location and unique build (side of a mountain, what a view!) of the property. Everything you could need was available with a lovely breakfast provided. Cannot recommend this highly enough when seeking an excellent family friendly property.

Lachlan was excellent, friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived. The unit, location and the stay was more than we expected, Lachlan did an excellent job of everything, loved it. Can not wait till we go again.
