The free parking, two king beds in the room, nice view, not far from town.

Not a fan of the open shower and glass door to the bathroom. When somebody had to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night, the light shown bright into the room. It looks pretty, but not very practical.

Close location to the naval base in Newport.

We had asked for clean towels daily. Never got them and when I inquired at the desk, they told me they were short on towels since the pool has been open.

Extremely comfortable bed, good clean facilities, very friendly and accommodating staff. The inclusion of a frequent shuttlebus to downtown is a big bonus, negating any consideration for finding a parking spot. I would suggest this could possibly be slightly improved with a drop-off / pick-up by the cliff walk.

Clarification on pricing. It was detailed on arrival that room servicing would be done on request, During my 7 day stay, I requested two room servicings, but it seems I was charged for room servicing everyday. If the hotel has a preference to not undertake daily servicing, due to environmental or other considerations, a portion of these savings should also be passed on to the customer.

The pool, the food, the layout design of the exterior. We loved the outside bar area as well. Loved the layout of the room!! Loved the value.

4.00 for a cup of coffee:( $5.00 for a delivery fee for room service-thats why we always did rake out and picked up our food A Bell service staff should be offered every day. It was short staffed-for dining room seating. You need more than 1 person at the restaurant desk. This person is in charge of taking room service orders, as well as sending people down. Brochures and maps should be easily accessible at the check-in area, seating area.

My family and I have been to this location a couple times a year, for the last 6 years. We live in RI and it is just a perfect getaway location for us. We started with no kids and now we bring our two young kids. It's wonderfully clean, beds are comfortable, the staff is friendly, nice restaurant, near town but not in the busiest place, excellent pool area, nice water view, near the beaches, fire pits, bar, you name it. We love coming here and will continue to do so.

Bed was comfortable, room was clean and spacious. Location was great for the Easton/Second beaches. We didn't use the shuttle service to downtown this stay, but I love that it's an option and we've used it previously. Upon check-in, a staff member was super helpful with a bell cart and getting our luggage up to our room, which was super helpful with a baby in tow. Bar area is nice.

The room charge was $100 more than exactly one year ago. I understand inflation, but $430 for one night is definitely steep. If we had used the shuttle service I would've likely felt like we got more bang for our buck, but it was too hard with a baby and everything needed to travel with her. A price of $350 or $375 would make me call this hotel amazing and great value. Bar made cosmo was not good and expensive. And upon checkout, no one was available to bring up a bell cart for luggage, so trying to navigate one of those to our room on the second floor while watching a 14 month old was just about impossible.

The hotel fully met our requirements and our expectations. It is a large hotel, which many events (eg. weddings). The pool is nice to swim laps. The hotel has a very nice outside area to sit and they provide games to play on the lawn. When we were there, the bar outside was not yet open as it was still too windy. The rooms have a very nice size.

The restaurant is ok, but the quality of the food is also only ok. We would have eaten in the restaurant more often, had the food been better. The service was very good.

We were in the area for our granddaughter’s graduation from Naval Officer Candidate School. The hotel location was great for getting to the Navy Base, restaurants, stores, and tourist sites. The property was clean, spacious, plenty of free parking, had a nice restaurant available for breakfast, etc, and the staff were friendly. Our room was spacious and had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and it was quiet at night.

The only thing to consider is that if there is more than 2 guests in the room and they are trying to get ready at different times, please note the bathroom door is like a sliding barn door and is opaque so if someone has to get up early to get ready, the lights in the bathroom throw a lot of light in the room waking those whom don’t have to rise as early.

Location to downtown Newport is great. The hotel is very clean, well staffed and very pleasant. The shuttle to and from the hotel to downtown was awesome and the gentleman who drove us was so knowledgeable and went above and beyond pointing out historic places. This is the 3rd time we have stayed here and will continue to stay

Beautiful weather would of been so nice to have the outside bar open during the week.

Excellent location for beaches and downtown Newport.

The outdoor restaurant has taken over the pool patio, so there is no shaded outdoor space for the pool loungers. They keep most of the pool doors closed so the chlorine smell builds up. Didn’t know about the facility charge of $20+ a day, it added to the total above what I thought it would be.
