This was our first bed and breakfast that we have been to and it did not disappoint. The location was perfect and the amenities exceeded our expectations. The owner and his employees were super friendly, which made the stay even more enjoyable. They went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and have everything we needed. The king bed was like sleeping on a cloud and the room was a perfect size. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Newport.

Only thing missing is a TV, but they do provide tablets to stream shows.

The ambience, the tasteful ,classy furnishings, lovely staff and comfortable bed. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and the location was perfect - walking distance to the centre of Newport and a cockstride from good restaurants. High quality pastries for breakfast and good coffee. There are a couple of lovely outdoor spaces to enjoy the sun - a swing seat on the porch, and lots of seating on the deck outside. We stayed two nights and loved this place, it was excellent value for money and would recommend without hesitation.

Perhaps some more fruit at breakfast? - but that’s a minor quibble , as the hotel was our favourite stop on a ten day tour.

A truly wonderful stay! The cable service for the Cable TV was on the fritz for the duration of our stay. Mark, the Innkeeper, compted us a night without our asking which was very much appreciated!

Breakfast was fine as we are not big breakfast eaters. We loved that we could go in anytime and get our baked goods or OJ/yogurt and take to our bungalow. We loved the room that stood alone. It was not the apartment.

We stayed in the cottage which is a delightfully quiet room in the garden. A four poster bed en suite with tea and coffee making facilities. Fresh pastries are provided for breakfast in the main house where the various residents exchange their stories. The hotel is a short walk from Bellvue which provides a little eatery called 'Picnic' and the various golden age mansions. we can also recommend Annie's and Mozz. The Harbour is a short walk away and provides many exceptional restaurants including the Mooring, 22b, and many more. The owner is a wonderful friendly and helpful young man and we cannot recommend this place highly enough.

There is nothing to dislike.

We stayed in the cottage. It was great. It was a very comfortable private space. Owner/Inn keeper was very personable. Breakfast was a continental breakfast with small danishes, juice, fruit,coffee,tea,etc.

This is not in the don't like category, but future patrons need to be aware that it is a 10-15 minute walk to spots in downtown and to pack comfy shoes. Parking is at a premium and walking is your best option. Of course you can always use Lyft or Uber services too. We had packed sneakers along with other shoes comfy for that activity.

Great location on a relatively quiet road, but short stroll to the centre. Restaurants close by. Cliff walk start about 15 mins walk. Free trolly bus picks up all along the route of the mansions and at the end of the cliff walk. Stops at the bottom of the road. Room was lovely and large, large bathroom. Access to a fridge in the dining room/reception check in. Free cold filtered and hot water. Pastries and fruit at breakfast. Coffee and tea available all day.

We were on the 2nd floor, so tricky to carry two large cases up the stairs as there's no lift. Although this was fine. Could be some road noise at night

The location was excellent and older world charm of the property was delightful. The bed was really comfortable and the room was impeccably clean. The complimentary breakfast( albeit not the usual American Fayre) was really a lovely touch and we met so many people on their travels whilst sharing the communal breakfast table. It’s not exactly what I expected - tho not sure what I did expect🤣, however it was a truly wonderful stay. The staff were all very pleasant and exceptionally helpful.

The room was a little small for our luggage but that’s no fault of the proprietor- we’re on a 3 week trip and needed all3 cases ( lesson learned).

Great location within walking distance of restaurants, shops and downtown Newport. Beautiful house and grounds, ample parking area, air conditioning was perfect temp, room was comfortable and clean. Private bathroom was beautifully updated and spacious. Queen bed was extremely comfortable and felt bigger than a typical queen. Plenty of storage for clothes if you’re staying for more than one night.

There is nothing we didn’t like. Everything was perfect. Great value

I loved how quiet the Inn is. The place is cozy and comfortable. The rooms are super clean and comfortable as well. The location is great, on a beautiful street with an easy walk to stores, restaurants and sites. The staff recommends places for you if you have any questions. Coffee made with warm croissants and sweets if you prefer were in the dining area each morning. Filtered water is available also. I would 100% chose this Inn to stay in again and again.

Only issue was the water pressure in the shower isn't great, but overall, it would not stop me from coming back.

Property was spotless clean and tidy. We were literally steps from the shops and eateries. The staff were all over the top nice and accommodating. Our room was large and bed was very comfortable. The morning breakfast was great with cooked to order eggs and beautiful display of fresh fruit, pastries, cereal etc….anything you could possibly want. Late afternoon happy hour was a very nice addition to look forward to.
