We loved this hotel! The location is very quiet and there are konbinis nearby. The hotel is very calm and Nana and her colleague were very lovely. We enjoyed the breakfast and free sake tasting very much, and we really appreciated the efforts of the hotel to support local businesses and showcase products of Hiroshima as well as provide recommendations for special local cafes and restaurants. The room was beautiful and spacious and we even had a balcony. I loved the tatami mats and the sitting area we had in our room. The beds were also super comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel if you are staying in Hiroshima!

Everything was wonderful!

Our room was well equipped, spacious and a nice mixture of Japanese and western culture. I also loved the bed, I slept really well. I also liked the detail of having the breakfast at the tatami, and the breakfast was well enough for its cheap price. The location was pretty close to the railway station, but also easily accessible to the touristic attractions via tram.

I was honestly quite disappointed for the fact that we weren’t offered any room service during our stay (2 nights). We decided to opt for this hotel as we thought the service would be more personalised and detailed compared to our original booking in a much bigger hotel. The trash bins were really small and we had to take the trash out by ourselves, and even put new trash bags on the bins. I just didn’t expect this, and to make my own bed, when paying more than 150€/night. The hotel has 11 rooms, so one would assume they’d have the capacity to take daily care of them. We were also a bit bothered by the noises coming from upstairs, it felt like somebody was running constantly on the floor above. This is not the hotel’s fault yet the other travellers’.

The room was very big and clean and the amenities were good. The Valentine's Day chocolate was a thoughtful little surprise. The staff is very helpful and friendly. They know Hiroshima well and can offer advice or brochures with information to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. I ended up not going, but the complimentary sake tasting event must be a great experience too. You can also pay extra for a koto lesson right at the hotel. It cost me 9900 JPY and it was a 1 on 1 lesson. By the end of the lesson I learned how to play the famous song "Sakura" on koto. The location of the hotel is great. It's a 10 minute walk from Hiroshima station and there's a conbini at 10 minutes walking distance too. I didn't rent one but it seems the hotel offers bicycles for the day at a reasonable price.

It takes maybe 10-20 seconds for the water to heat up, but that didn't bother me at all. Once it heats up it stays like that while you're using it. I wear EU size 45 (US 11) shoes and the provided slippers were too little, but that is applicable to all hotels I stayed at in Japan.

The room was spacious and had an excellent bathroom. The staff were very helpful, and the free Saki tasting was done extremely well. We also like the water dispenser in the lobby – nice to see a hotel avoiding yet more plastic bottles of water.

The breakfast was poor - a bagel with a bit of cream cheese & jam, a pack of dried soup and a carton of fruit juice - Booking.Com describes it as Fabulous, but it really is not. It is a cheap addition to the room rate so it may suit you, but do not be misled by Booking.com's description. We found the bed to be too soft.

A really warm welcoming group of staff. The extra details and considerations made this such a lovely stay - the complimentary sake tasting, help yourself tea, yoga mats available, paper to fold your own peace crane to donate to the city (Thank you Coco for helping us fold ours). The location is in a quieter part of the city but a 10min walk from the station and 20min walk to the peace park and museums. The Tatami room was spacious, comfortable and with Japanese charm. The breakfast is worth it!!! Delicious bagels with fresh local produce (honey/jam, cream cheese).

Our first night due to availability we stayed in the Twin room and we did not enjoy this space as much. it felt quite stuffy and without the japanese style beds.

The rooms are MASSIVE. I was completely shocked. The lobby is small and perhaps persons dont like it but I personally prefer places that have better rooms than lobbies over places with really gorgeous lobbies and not as great rooms. While there aren't necessarily any facilities on the property, except for the small lobby, the rooms make up for it twice fold. There was a living room, bedroom and the bathroom was huge. The shower was fantastic and has the feature for drying your clothes if needed. There's a sink in the bathroom and then an entire station with a sink in the living room. All in all, I'll be picking this location every time I come to Hiroshima. The location is perfect. 10 minute walk from Hiroshima station where the Shinkansen arrives and about the same walk to multiple bus stations around. There's a cafe called Sakurano Cafe right down the street and the old couple who run it are so welcoming. The old lady is the sweetest person in the world. Absolutely amazing stay and the staff is so nice!

I honestly don't have anything I didn't like. Like I said, the lobby is small and there aren't many facilities on the property and some persons may not like that. I personally didn't mind it especially given the size of the rooms.

Beautiful rooms and a cool vibe. This place is a 15 min walk from the station and is in a residential neighborhood. This does mean you are a little far from places you might want to go to as a tourist, but the public transportation system in Hiroshima is pretty great. The hotel has everything you will need, but some things (body lotion, robes, iron, etc) need to be "rented" (but it's free). Our room had an emergency exit which meant that there was only room for one chair in the balcony, which was disappointing. It would have been nice if they could have accommodated two smaller chairs as it defeats the socializing purpose of the balcony if only one guest can be there at a time. The in-room coffee provided was of excellent quality, and the staff were very helpful in coordinating with the luggage delivery service.

Everything! We had a tatami suite double room with balcony, which had lots of space and a view of the river, and we would keep going to the balcony just to take in the sunrise, sunset, the fish and the birds. The room was clean and comfortable, had tea (get your refill bags from the lounge area) and coffee and if you just need to wash a few items, the shower room has a drying fan which was super useful. The staff were warm and friendly and replied promptly to my messages prior to our arrival. They gave us recommendations, helped make a restaurant reservation, and called a taxi for us. The sake tasting session was a bonus! The hotel location is quite tranquil, and a few minutes' walk will bring you to a tram stop and beyond that, it's a few more minutes to Hiroshima Station.

This place is about a 10 minute walk from the main station and near the Carp Baseball stadium. We loved our stay, the staff were extremely friendly and spoke very good English. We opted for Koto lessons which was definitely a highlight of our trip. We managed to get tickets for the baseball game which we would also highly recommend (Id suggest everyone attends at least one on their trip to Japan)being as the stadium is near by. Accommodation was very good value for money, a small boutique hotel with a personal touch.

We booked the executive twin and the amount of space was luxurious. Everything in this small boutique hotel is new and clean as well. The staff are so sweet, friendly and helpful. It’s about a 10 minute walk to Hiroshima station which was quite convenient

Though close to Hiroshima station (10 min walk), it is not that central to the main city sites, though also not that far. We took a street car to go out for dinner which was a short and easy ride, and also took a taxi one night which was quick and not to expensive
