Facilities, staff and breakfast buffet were excellent

Our Room with an ocean view was not suitable for an elderly person as lounge and outdoor chairs in the rooms were too low to sit it in and shower was within a bath which was difficult for elderly people or people with a disability to access. There were no proper Quilt covers, there were only sheets tucked into the bed which had to be pulled away from the base to sleep in the bed so it wasn't comfortable. Sheets & pillows were low quality and didn't seem to be at the same standard as expected for the price to stay there.

Beautiful Hotel, great location. Excellent breakfast which was included in our booking. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and accommodating during breakfast service. Each morning we were greeted and made to feel very welcome. They were friendly, efficient, polite and welcoming. Great quality coffee and food. A member of staff even helped us get our things to our car on checkout without hesitation. The way the hotel is operated for the ultimate guest experience in terms of activities in a program directed for adults and children, is quite clever. The seasonal Easter display was impressive. We loved our stay, the view was great, as well as our room. The bed was very large, just too soft for our liking, but we still had a great sleep! Highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing stay, explore what they offer, its more than just a place to sleep.

The bathroom exhaust fan was either not operational or it didn't have one? Apart from that, we can't complain about anything else.

We love the location & the pool. Rooms are good size and comfortable. I am glad there are no more drinks/snack bar in the room, and the fridge is free for our own drinks. We have stayed here 4-5 times and we love it. The manager who checked us in was lovely. The lady who works in the breakfast lounge (Thursday morning 23/1) was so kind and helpful!

Parking is way too expensive, I wish there was some more umbrellas in the pool area. Am disappointed that there is no more room service. Breakfast buffet for kids should be cheaper, my kids have an eating issue and usually only eat toast for breakfast, so it feels wrong to pay a high price.

Fantastic location, comfy beds and awesome dining and drinking options on-site. My son loved the pool! The pod coffee machine in the room and the choice of coffee pods was excellent. Great, thick curtains that easily covered the full window length meant the room was nice and dark to sleep in, even with a lovely morning sunrise.

Our bathroom had some maintenance issues with the toilet running constantly (noisy) plus when my son had a bath, the water backed up into the floor waste and overflowed onto the bathroom floor. On-site parking is super expensive for a location like this. It was offered as a "special price" which was actually just the normal price - there is ample, free, street parking within a very short walk.

Reception lady was exceptionally good. Went out of her way to assist. Hotel was roomy and children friendly Buffet breakfast was excellent with great variety

Checkin time was late and despite following booking suggestion, we really only got room access a little early after intervention of reception lady The bacon was cold on two occasions. My grand-daughter told me it was cold and when I tasted it, it really was cold. I got some bacon the next day and couldn't eat it as it was cold. Not a big deal, but perhaps too much was put out at the same time

I had so many good memories here. This time, I spent refreshing, restoring and relaxing time with my family again. Especially thanks to Jay at the reception, whom I talked with, early in the morning, we have additional good reasons of coming again for our family celebration. As always, breakfast is the best ever. A variety of multicultual food, gelato icecream shop, shops for dresses, cafes, seafood restaurants, drinks, good and friendly people...countless blessings here and nearby...

This time, our room was allocated in front of the pool despite my booking for balcony and good ocean view. It was just above the noisy pub, located at the lowest level so I couldn't sleep well. I understood this time of the year is very busy and crowded. I double checked my booking and found no trace of booking with pool view at all. It was the only thing that disappointed me for this visit.

Staff very pleasant and accommodating, I expected a standard room/bed with Courtyard view ,they gave us two Queen beds with a Water view which was a pleasant surprise!, bathroom was modern and clean, and cleaned each day by hotel staff whom were also ,very pleasant people. Breakfast Included was a treat ,plenty on offer for all diets ,we enjoyed the Eggs Benedict, Chia Lattes, and watermelon fruit salads just ask staff if you want more, very accommodating and attentive. Overall the establishment is very clean: it's location to Town, food stores/beach/bus etc are at the door. safe to walk around at all hours, 2 local bottle shops mins away. Would recommend to anyone ,value for money, will book again when travelling to this area of the coast

As a suggestion (not a dislike) maybe escalators at some point to level 1 from beach front, instead of those steep steps ?

Myself, family and Wife especially, have been visiting the Crown Plaza for years, the location is second to none, staff always friendly, in fact chatted to the Lady on reception who has been there for around 24 (most of the time we have visited) but what we like the most is the heated pool and massive spa bath, even great in the winter time...

We tried the breakfast again as last time did not have the best experience, there has been an improvement, but we think, it could still be better...

Beautiful & very convenient location. Great variety of facilities for families, with plenty of fun and relaxing options for both children and adults. Lovely seaside dinning venues with plenty of choice right at your doorstep or within the building. Friendly and attentive staff who assist with all types of requests with efficiency and a smile. We loved every minute and have come home relaxed and rejuvenated. Thanks Crowne Plaza Terrigal. This is our second stay with you in the past 12 months and we can’t wait to visit again!

Wasn’t an issue for us, however it does get very noisy at night with the music from the bar underneath. Families with young children should request rooms on the other side of the hotel to avoid difficulty getting young children to bed before ~11pm.

Breakfast in bed was amazing. Also we were surprised with a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine on arrival and a lovely card congratulating us on our anniversary which really set the tone for our relaxing holiday. The view from our balcony was beautiful, faculties lovely, clean an modern. Can’t fault anything!

Had a cold shower on our last morning. Perhaps a lot of people all having a quick shower before check out used up the hot water all at once?
